Update: They have since made amends and the money has been refunded. It is unfortunate that it got to this point, but the corrections have been made and the general manager has called personally to apologize. I have upgraded the star rating to reflect this. My parents rented a car from these guys from June 7th, 2013 to June 10th, 2013. The rental agreement # is 206239, with reference # 5938RC. The car my parents rented was a Toyota Corolla sedan, license plate #254PNV. Although my dad had returned the vehicle on June the 10th, and paid the previously agreed upon rental fee of $107.06 CAD (or 105.86$ USD), my parents were later surprised to find a further withdraw of USD 105.25$ on the 12th of June without an invoice for absolutely no discernible reason. My father contacted the branch and spoke with a person named Mark who assured him that he will speak with the branch manager about this error. My father NEVER received a call from the branch manager or anyone else from this branch, nor was the money ever refunded. After several weeks with no answer or updates, my mother called the branch on the 25th of June and spoke with a representative named "Pele", who gave her the same stock response. With still no updates, she called again on the 27th and spoke with an employee with "Mark" who YET AGAIN, told her the manager will look into it. By now it should be obvious that, despite calling and patiently waiting for a long-overdue refund, no one with any relations to Enterprise reached out to offer any updates. Fed up, my mother called the head office and spoke with a lady named Beatrice, who responded that as the call center she reached was located in the U.S, she has no say in the affairs of Canadian branches, but noticed that my parents names were not even in the company system for refunds! However, she assured my mother that she will get the manager to contact her immediately at 4pm later that day. Of course NO such phone call came in. At this point we are left wondering whether or not even such a manager exists, and if so, how can someone so unprofessional and so ignorant about their basic duties and customer service principles, be allowed to run a branch. Needless to say, my parents have had enough and if this matter is not resolved soon we will contact the BBB, as well as the Enterprise Canada head office. We are prepared to find this display of gross negligence and incompetence all the way to the top. As an established company in the car-rental industry, we expected far more professionalism and courtesy from Enterprise. People go to companies like these with the hope that the brand will demonstrate value, and adherence to customer service standards. What is the point then, is it to rent from an established company such as Enterprise when we can get this terrible customer service from any XYZ car rental company in the world?

I rented a car from Enterprise - New Westminster, BC in Nov 2015. There was no windshield wiper fluid in the car which I only figured out while driving up the Coquihalla summit in foul weather, putting everyone in the car in physical risk of an accident. I do not understand why they rent out vehicles without checking fluid levels. I was forced stop off in Merritt, BC to purchase a full jug of wiper fluid and pour it into the empty reservoir; I have the receipt for it. When I inquired about it to the manager they said that they rely on dashboard indicators to see if the vehicle needs service. Yet the dashboard of the car I rented did not have such indicator (I took a photo of the dashboard to record my km) Then as I was about to drive out of Merrit I got a flat tire. After putting on the spare I had to take a two hour low speed detour to Kelowna, BC to switch the car at the Enterprise Airport location for another one. It was the only location that was open and had cars available (a positive: their Roadside Assistance Rep helped us in contacting them). Yet before I drove off with the new car I opened up the hood to check the windshield wiper fluid and this one just had a few sprays left ; this seems to be a common oversight with Enterprise and one day could result in a serious accident and liability. The New Westminster Enterprise Manager although apologetic has yet to reconcile this issue with me. Ive talked him several times but it hes not following up. So I am posting my experience to warn others that Enterprise needs to do a better job in following up with post-rental service issues. Before you drive out of their lot check all fluid levels and check if the car lights work; I rented from them before and one of the headlights was out; Im lucky a cop didnt pull me over and give me a ticket.

I had the worst experience with them, absolutely horrible, I 100% would say stay away from here! I booked car with them in the morning, 3 hours later i go to pick it up, the clerk tells me "oh ya I was gonna call you, we dont have a car". So I took a $40 cab there only to find out there is no car!!! no apology, no let me find you a car, nothing!!!! I told him I want to speak to the manager, he took my number to get him to call me! Im still waiting for the call, worst most unprofessional service ever! I WILL NEVER use them again and am so disappointed that didnt even a call or anything, what a waste of time! Im getting married next week and needed the car for all my running around, thanks for adding way more stress to my life Enterprise!

Rented a car from this location (agreement #210419 and ref# 7P60W5) but when I returned it to the Airport location, they overcharged me for refueling. Its been three weeks and despite two voice mails with head office and two calls to the New West location, I still have yet to see my promised refund. This is not only extremely bad customer service but the process of following up, submitting a complaint to the Better Business Bureau, and even writing this needed review is cutting into my vacation time!!!

Amazing customer service, great and friendly staff, easy and quick.. love this location and would recommend this location to all. Nice, clean cars, very helpfull espacially not just renting cars but also assisting them after renting it if any problem occurs. Location manager (PELEDONA) amazing guy, very friendly, for sure one of the best customer representative and employee enterprise have.. Thanks guys

Worst! Worst! Worst! Ive experienced the worst car Ive ever driven in my entire life. Very stinky and very dirty. I drove the Mitsubishi color red. Oh man.! Ive seen a Mcdonald food inside. Its like its been there for a month. I just found it when I returned it. Such a very terrible and disgusting. They should clean their cars and try to put any air fresheners. The smell still in my nose.

Great service here. The staff are fairly accommodating. My partner rents cars from here all the time and hasnt had any issues. Ive rented a car from this place once and they seem to know what they were doing. They also offer and drop-off services if you are nearby.
