Beware of this dealership if you are buying a used car! While I bet they treat their "luxury vehicle" customers quite differently, I spent a measly $10,000 purchasing a used Jetta TDI from them. While I was welcomed into the "family" as I handed over my cheque, things changed immediately once I pulled out of the dealership and noticed a crack (from a rock or bolt), directly in the line of sight on the windshield. Having already test-driven the car (with no chip), my only assumption could be that it happened (accidentally of course), while I was signing all of the paperwork, getting the insurance worked out...etc. (i.e. it happened at the dealership). So I turned the car around and was back at the dealership about 10 seconds after pulling out. What a difference 10 seconds makes (I guess were only family if everything is going right). The assistant manager, once he was alerted to my problem via my sales rep (who was the only good thing about this whole experience), proceeded to do the following: Not get up from his chair, or shake my hand, while he looked at me over his glasses. Asked me "What do you want me to do about it?" Told me "Were not fixing or replacing the windshield and were not paying for anything." Reminded me that it was, in fact, "a used car" (I guess this means that I should expect cracks in the windshield?). Stormed out of the office like a child when I, quite irritated with his attitude and body language, called him on how he was treating a customer, and he then responded "Im leaving because Im getting frustrated" - I guess he was frustrated that he was being asked to do more for my $10,000 than sit there and stare at me. Long story short, this dealership was BRUTAL, and all of my "family" (the manager, assistant manager, individual who took my cheque, and general mechanic whod checked over the car), scattered like rats from a sinking ship when I came back with, what I thought, would be a quick and easy problem to solve. On their website, with its curated comments, there is no option to leave any feedback from unsatisfied customers, which is why Im doing it here. Oh, and also on their website it states: Our associates will treat you with courtesy and professionalism. We will endeavour to fulfil your sales and service needs the first time, every time. This did not happen and, consequently, shows that this dealership is interested in the appearance of quality rather than the quality of customer service itself. In the end, I fixed the windshield myself, and heard ABSOLUTELY NOTHING from either the manager or assistant manager about anything once they had my money (not even to inquire about how my 5 hour drive home was, whether or not I was enjoying the car or not or to thank me for my purchase). Beware, beware, beware this dealership!!! My experience was terrible, and I would NEVER do business with these people again or EVER recommend them to anyone. David

We tried to make a deal with Allan on a 2017 Subaru Outback 3.6 Limited with Tech Package. They wanted $813 which included their ridiculous $595 Lease Set-Up fee. When we attempted to negotiate, Allan pretty much shut us down He explained to us how hard it was to get that particular vehicle in that specific colour and they generally dont discount Outbacks. Out of 4 dealers we spoke to, this was the only dealer that also would not commit to a lease price because we werent picking up the car until we arrived in January. From our online research, they have about a $5000 markup and they are concerned about price fluctuation between November and January. This sales person was pretty condescending and cocky. Fortunately we got an amazing deal from a pleasant salesperson at the Victoria dealer for over $100 a month less. Save your money and buy somewhere else.

Excellent experience with Allan as my sales rep in buying an inexpensive pre-owned vehicle. He was very prompt in replying to my emails and texts. I arrived from the Comox Valley on our first meeting and after arriving just prior to closing, Allan took the time for me to do a proper road test. I didnt feel rushed. The next day I took the Island Link bus to Nanaimo and Allan picked me up from the ferry terminal. The car was clean and ready with a full tank of gas. I met with the Ahmed who is the Sales Manager and he was very courteous and helpful. I signed the paperwork with Ken and he also provided top notch customer service. I have been to many dealers over the years and Subaru of Nanaimo rates #1 in professionalism.

Recently purchased a vehicle from Subaru Nanaimo, and had an exceptional experience. The salesman I dealt with, Levi Lamash, was easy to talk to and very forthcoming with all information on the vehicle that I requested. I also had the pleasure of dealing with the new manager of the dealership, Ahmed Orfi, who helped negotiate better terms of financing with the bank when a complicated issue arised. I would highly recommend stopping by Subaru Nanaimo and dealing with either of these gentleman as they went above and beyond regular duties to make my fiancée and myself feel comfortable in purchasing a new vehicle for her. By far the best car buying experience EVER that my wife and I have had. We met Richard Charley in August and he was great from thst first meeting. No pressure and took an genuine interest in finding out what we were looking for. We returned in December and again Richard was our guy. Explained what we could afford and he showed us our options. The whole process was stress free and we were made to feel that our best interests were being looked after. We needed up with two Subaru s and are really enjoying them. Safety is priority 1 for this company and would highly recommend them to anyone. From Richard , Ken, Zach , Orfi and Michelle as well as Bart we are very very impressed. Thanks again.

His name is Richard Charley. And he is the man who was helping me in making this transaction as easy and transparent as posisble that made our experience so unforgettable. He went above and beyond for us and I am sure we will meet again next time ;) We were coming on foot from Vancouver via ferry, to the Duke Point terminal, where Richard was waiting for us. Then, he took us to a dealership. After completing paperwork, our vehicle was ready for us, detailed, plated, fueled up and ready to go back to Vancouver! P.S. Thanks for the Jamaican spice Richard. I cant wait to try it.

We bought our new Subaru Forester from Subaru of Nanaimo last spring, and we couldnt have asked for a better car-shopping experience. Our salesman, Levi, was very courteous and professional, and gave us all the "ins and outs" of the vehicles that we were considering. He was knowledgeable about the vehicles, and any questions that he couldnt answer for us, he found out about, and relayed the information. The entire process of buying our Forester was quick and easy. Id definitely buy another vehicle from this dealership, when were in the market, again.

Loved my experience with these guys. Richard and Orfy were super helpful along the way. Very accommodating with me wanting to test drive a car every other week (even when I already made the decision to purchase). Helped me get the color I wanted even after going back and forth multiple times. Took the car in no questions when I found a little scratch and got it fixed same day. Would definitely come back to these guys again if I stay in the Subaru family. Love my new car!
