So, let me tell you about this car wash: I had avoided it because of the review but eventually went and found out how it works. It is run by a very friendly attendant (owner?) who told me he is there 10-3pm every day, catching the bus from south Nanaimo. If he is there when you pull-up, he will pre-wash your vehicle by scrubbing it over with their special, gentle brushes, getting all the nooks and crannies, using a different brush for the wheels. You then pay and go through the auto-wash. If he is not there, he fills 4-6 buckets with auto-soap and water on either side where you pull-up, and you can then get out and do some of your own advance scrubbing. The car wash has quite a following, including many expensive cars (he has has photos posted), probably because he is a delightful, conscientious character. I must admit, he has not been there every visit even though I was there within his hours, but hey, having a helpful body is icing on the cake; the car wash is still competitively priced and efficient. So yeah, the person in front of you may be using the brushes and soap buckets, and if you dont want this thoughtful, extra option, there is an auto hand-wash across the road (always misses bits on my car that I never notice until its dry) and a self-wash at the Husky further down.

Avoid, I have brought expensive vehicles here that are meticulously clean just to wash the dust and pollen off, once you pull out into the sun its still there of course! Call the number leave a message, no reply, Im a glutton for punishment I guess because I keep going back months later to give him another chance and waste $13, so finally after going here for so many years, heres your 1 star. As previously stated if you need to pre wash your vehicle with one of their "rakes" its clearly a poor wash, special brushes as mentioned, yes just a few granules in the brush of dirt will ruin your paint, I have had many vehicles that Ive bought that way, youre going to a touchless wash for a reason usually

No staff on site. Machine wont print a receipt. Phoning the help line results in no answer or answering machine. As a result we were double billed at 12:05 on July 5th AND the car was FILTHY upon our departure from the so called"wash". Further attempts to contact this business have also not been answered. I have pictures of the dirt left behind. Not sure how to upload here though...

A waste of time! I sat in line for 11 minutes while someone hand washed their truck with the brushes and buckets at the entrance to the car wash. No one was in the car wash!!!! If you need to hand wash your vehicle before an automatic car wash....the car wash is NO GOOD!!!

Terrible wash, no body answers the phone for customer service, had to scrub my car afterwards because it was so filthy. Will not use this car wash again, dont waste your money. Paid $13 to wash my own car with a broom and a bucket outside the carwash.
