I recently purchased a used Honda Ridgeline from Nanaimo Honda. I am not local to Nanaimo but was willing to travel anywhere in the province in order to be satisfied I made the correct choice. First and foremost, I have never written a review, never had an overwhelmingly positive experience that warranted a review. I researched this dealership and vehicle albeit from a far and would most likely given it a pass if not for the initial assistance I received from Ms. Natalie Craig. When I established email/telephone/email connection with this dealership it was through Ms. Craig. The vehicle in question didn’t check off all my boxes but did tweak my curiosity hence my apprehension on taking the next step. I was not aware at the time that Ms Craig wasn’t a sales associate. Ms. Craig ( who I later found out was the Business Development Coordinator ) went out of her way to research, answer me promptly (did I say very promptly) any questions I had. For those obscure technical questions I had, (and there were a few), that she didn’t have immediate answers to, she got me the information. All this exchange took place before I even attended the dealership. To be expected some of my questions were put forth on my time, which so happened to be after hours, or on her days off. Didn’t seem to matter, she came through. When it came time for me to make the trip to Nanaimo she was on days off but wanted me to phone in advance so she could meet me there. This is a person that has definitely found her work passion in life and it shows. By the way, I did end up buying that vehicle and I haven’t regretted it for a moment. At no time was I pressured something that was foreign to me when dealing with car dealerships. I was treated fairly and with respect. The after service questions, follow up and customer satisfaction was coordinated by Ms. Craig who went out of her way to ensure my purchasing experience was positive. There will no doubt come a time when I purchase another vehicle and I know quite confidently where and with whom that search will start with. Thank you Ms. Craig, my purchase through your dealership was a positive one and this was a direct reflection on your professionalism and customer relations. In closing, I know you are not looking for it but it is my hope that you somehow are recognized for your valuable contributions. Respectfully Murray McGregor

Nanaimo Honda - unethical, shady and no integrity....... turned about a 9/10 to a 1/10 at deal close. Sealed the deal 31 Jan 2012 gave credit card number for deposit, got the whole "congratulations, you are now the proud new owner......". Incentive changed from $3500 ==> $4000 for Feb and I asked to re-negotiate. The response was, "sorry, this deal was for January under the January incentive program." Ok, I can live with and respect that...... but then they turned on a dime, delayed and did paperwork for February 1, had me redo deposit in house 1 February and they walked off with the extra $500 for the new incentive. They even scoffed and confessed that I would not have received the deal I got without them knowing that the incentive was going to change in their favor. I will not go into the staff and their very inappropriate side conversations, not intended to be overheard, slamming and laughing at other customers.......$500 is not much compared to the deal I received, but the being "had" by the dealership in such a fashion...... for shame.

I recently got into a 2016 Civic Touring Sedan and couldnt be happier. I highly recommend the team at Honda. Kevin was a very open and honest sales person who worked hard to get me what I needed and wanted out of a car. They worked around my schedule and werent your typical pushy sales people - I was able to take the time I needed to make the right choice without the unnecessary pressure. I am VERY much in love with my cherry picked Civic - not only is it a beautifully designed car but it has so many features that just make your driving life that much more enjoyable and safe. Jeff was also a big help when it came time to talk financing, he took the time to explain all the options to me and was very open about all the costs associated with taking the car home. It has been two weeks since my car purchase and they have welcomed my questions and any concerns I have, the team at Honda is honest and competitive with trade ins. Definitely go see the team there if you are looking for a new vehicle!

I never imagined that I would ever be rating either a salesman or a dealership highly. Mark was knowledgeable and respectful. No pressure was exerted on us by the salesman or management at any point, and what was promised was delivered without any " fast ones" being pulled. I am very happy with our new car (2016 Civic) The only concern I have is the unavailability of roof racks from any manufacturer. I asked about roof racks during the test drive and was reassured that I could get an aftermarket one. But still, I dont fault Mark for not being thoroughly knowledgeable about the production schedule of other companies: his job is to know about Honda. I would definitely recommend dealing with Mark and with this dealership.

This Honda dealer has been helping me fix a 2003 Honda civic sport I purchased privately. Their service department and parts department were great to deal with. Very helpful and friendly. The only thing that had had a problem with was when they ordered a cluster that was to get installed, it took me after 2 weeks, to have to call them for them to tell me the part came in. Thats when I booked the appointment to get it installed. Im just a bit annoyed that I had to call. They should have called me as soon as they received it. I dont enjoy driving around with no speedometer, temp, or gas level. Them knowing I needed it replaced should have put some importance on it being installed. But other than that. Awesome lol

Just purchased a 2017 Civic EX with Honda Sensing on January 5th. We love it. I just need to get my Star Trek uniform. The assistance we got from Michael Lumley was thorough, complete and very helpful. He took time to explain a fairly complicated machine and was able to answer any question instantly. On the test drives he demonstrated the various safety features of the car and helped set up the car when purchased. Previously we purchased a 2009 Honda Fit Sport from Nanaimo Honda. We loved it until I spun out on ice and totaled it in December. We have found the service provided by Nanaimo Honda to be excellent. We look forward to continued excellent service for our 2017 Honda Civic

Went with my girl friend to pick up her car with an air conditioner issue once again only to discover they did not fix the the leak again and told her it just needed to be "toped up". Hate to tell you Nanaimo Honda but your a/c is a sealed system so if you dont find the leak its still there look harder and actually fix the car. When I told the nice man at the desk I was a refrigeration mechanic he stopped with his excuses and just said" I dont know what to tell you" how about youll fix her car right this time so we dont have to come back next year. Not very helpful.... Is there some way I can put 0 out of 5 stars? See you next year nanaimo Honda for a "top up" :/
