Nanaimo I want to tell you about a most grateful customer experience I have had since purchasing my car from Galaxy Motors. After 15 years I purchase a new to me car which has fabulous new safety features. While driving to Alberta this summer the AES system engaged and appeared to be stuck. I was concerned with the rocking of the steering wheel, constant pull towards the right and decided to pull over at the next pull out on the top of Rogers Pass. To my surprise, then smoke was rising from the right wheel. With my daughter and granddaughter in the car I didnt really want to take any chances. I didnt have any way of getting tow truck information or a local garage phone number. so after I called my sister & brother-in-law, to which neither could advise any further information, except calm me a little. I called Galaxy Motors in Nanaimo. I gave a small synopsis of my scenario and the receptionist put me on to the available agent. I advised about the light and that once pulled over a lot of smoke was rising off the right tire, could he possibly advice on what I need to do. Not only did they take my call, John assured me that the light was a safety feature and that my car was working correctly. After several more questions, John then guided me to how to turn the feature off. To find the right button he went to another vehicle in the lot. Knowing the limited cell reception I confirmed with John we had found the button but we were still working on how to turn it off. Which as it turned out, we needed to me moving to do so. John called to make sure we were on the road and that everything was ok. With such comforting we completed the journey without any further concern or stress. I did require an oil change, but that be normal wear and tear right. While in Calgary John called again to make sure we arrived safely and to invite us back for a car wash once we were safely returned from our l vacation. Thank you Galaxy Motors

1 star review for these guys. My wife and I came in wanting to sell our jeep to them. Having never done anything like this before, we asked a lot of questions. This brought up red flags right away. They said we had to sign these transfer documents and they would ground the vehicle and send us a check tomorrow. We didnt feel comfortable leaving our vehicle there and signing over our car without getting the money first. We were very polite and calm, but I guess we started to ask too many questions because the manager came out and was not happy. His words: "I dont understand why you have all these questions and why you are uncertain about us, its like you are weirded out by us, I am kind of weirded out by you being weirded out by us, and now you want to take the car home and sign the documents at home? "We should be the ones who are unsure about you guys, cause we are the customers" My wife and I were completely shocked. First of all his tone of voice and attitude was very aggressive and Their lack of customer service was astonishing. Because nothing was explained, they just wanted us to sign a bunch of forms, the whole process was a mystery to us. My wife and I have both worked in the customer service and retail industry for over ten years and their complete lack of tact was astonishing. Needless, to say we said thank you but no thank you, and walked out the door without signing anything. Thank God the manager showed his true colors. Word of advice, do your research and dont sign anything, especially if they start to get aggressive, if all you are trying to do is read and understand the contract and the whole process.

DO NOT BUY FROM THESE GUYS. I dont think theyre inherently bad/malicious but I definitely think theyre prone to used car sales tactics. I bought a Benz from them. Car from purchase made noises. I was told its nothing. The noise wasnt consistent. Took it to the galaxy shop and they told me it needs a new ball bearing. They told be it was replaced under my warranty. When I took the car off Galaxys service lot the thing wasnt safe. Some new problem emerged and the steering wheel was shaking. They then told me it needs a new axle. They let me drive off the lot with the problem but I had to drive back in an unsafe car to let them know. Once, I was back the service guy demanded I leave the car there for safety. WTTTTTTTTFFFF. That was on a Friday. I needed a car. Had to spend $170 on a rental they wouldnt cover....... what for the irony... Once the new axle was installed they told me it needs to go to Mercedes-Benz to have the new software uploaded they cant do and would pay for. Mercedes-Benz told me the ball bearing is broken and needs to be replaced. GALAXY TOLD ME IT WAS REPLACED. Mercedes says theres no new ball bearings in Canada for my model. Needs to be ordered. Because of that my ABS isnt working. I bought an upgraded warranty so as if theres no claims you can renew under the same conditions. 80K or 7 years. Within a month the warranty took a 1K and I now cant renew. I feel completely cheated. I was 100% mislead over and over. DONT BUY FROM THESE GUYS. I THOUGHT HEY MAYBE THE OLD ADAGE ABOUT USED CAR GUYS HAS CHANGED. GALAXY IS DIFFERENT? NOPE THEY STILL PULL FAST ONES.

We are returning customers and recently bought a 2014 Chrysler town and country - we love our van but have always had concerns about the tires and handling but was assured they were good. After they paid to have the front tire repaired as there was nail in it when we drove off the lot, we still were questioning the handling. We followed up at our first service appointment at the Galaxy motors service department and were once again assured the tires were great. Today we took it for a second opinion and the back tires were separating and needing to be replaced asap! As well as the front ones - understandably we were daily Upset to hear this. When we called the sales manager he was a bit hesitant to say it was faulty at purchase but after strongly voicing concern, within 10 minutes they contacted the shop I was at and told them they would be covering my invoice. I appreciated this, but still not happy that we were driving on unsafe tires jay may have not been properly inspected there while we drove around with our 2 year old in the van :(

LOVING my new ride! Galaxy was the first place I walked into when I decided it was time to buy a new car. Being a young woman who has always bought older cars outright I was nervous to make such a big purchase and worried about being pressured by salesmen. But I never felt pushed at all! They were so helpful and showed me several options that would work for my daughter and I. After leaving and doing my research I came back and they really worked with me to get me just the right vehicle and were so attentive to make sure I got the best rate possible and that I was comfortable with my payments! They were even wonderful enough to work in having all my windows tinted (since I was worried about it getting too hot in the summer being all black) I’m very practical and I’ve never been a person who understood “loving a CAR” but I can’t say enough how happy I am! And I can’t wait to see how good she looks with the windows done :) Thank You!!
