"Was treated like a criminal the moment I got on the lot" Am currently in the market for both a car for myself and my mother (seeing as I have more free time than her I decided to do a little shopping during the day). Saw some good prices online from Van auto liquid. and the cars looked clean so I decided to head down there. The moment I stepped onto the lot I had negative vibes, and it got exponentially worse. I was treated to a stout man in his late 20s early 30s with strawberry blonde hair (cant remember his name) who asked if I had been helped yet. I had said that I wasnt and was in the market looking for both a vehicle to buy for personal and for my mothers use. Immediately he blurted out "How long till youre going to purchase!?" and I had explained that I was finalizing with some other dealerships at the moment. Big mistake telling the "salesman" this. I was treated with immediate disdain and condescension. I had originally liked both of the cars and wanted to see how they ran (I obviously need to test drive both if im going to spend upwards of 40K on two cars), he mentioned all of them test drove wonderfully. I had then followed up that I would like to test drive both to see as they were in my price range and everything seemed alright on first glance. Big mistake there....I was immediately told that people come down all the time "test driving but never buying" and was told and i quote "you must be purchasing soon". I told him once again that I did not come in with any pre-purchasing ideas in mind but explicitly made clear that I could not go forward on any purchase that would not allow a demonstration considering the price i was paying. On one of the cars, the asking price on the sticker was 6 grand + on top of the "internet special price!?" very disturbing to see.... From this point on, it was obvious he wanted to shoo me away. I gave it another shot though, realizing that maybe ive incorrectly made an assumption here and asked for both reports, he told me that if they didnt have the reports, then a deposit was needed to be put down? I told him to go the back, he came back and had originally lied/not disclosed/told a half truth about 2-3k worth of claims on one of the cars when I requested again to go see them in the office. At this point he stepped into the office while i was with him and gave a coworker a "look" - now he magically "had to check a VIN on another car" from his manager and had to get someone else to deal with me. I had another salesman deal with me instead. I ended up turning over the engine on one of the cars, the engine idled very high and there was quite a bit of engine noise. Considering the fact that the car was leaking slightly (a convertible) and would have been fine with it if they had disclosed this information to me. At this point I thanked him for his time and left immediately. I have never felt more treated like a criminal, and someone who was instantaneously hated on the spot. I will go out of my way to make sure no person will go buy a car from this shady lot. I wish I could give this less than a star to be honest. Im left with nothing but contempt, frustration and complete utter bewilderment at how a companies standard practices are this abysmal. STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM THIS LOT. BUYER BEWARE.

I just purchased an acura from this dealership this past Saturday. I test drove the vehicle and all seemed well. I asked a few times if anything was wrong and was assured everything worked great. Not even 24 hours after getting my suv I went for a huge grocery shop and then realized I was unable to get into the back trunk. Im nearly 8 months pregnant and had to climb thru the middle row and put all my groceries in the back. Both back doors dont hold open and resulted in them closing on my 5 year olds legs. The right rear door does not lock or unlock using the key fob nor the interior lock switches. The vehicle was unlocked when we viewed and drove it already therefore we never noticed this before purchasing. I called the dealership right away and they said the manager would call me as soon as he was in. No call back. Called more times and finally got ahold of him and he says "this is why you test drive vehicles so you are aware of these issues before you purchase so since you didnt buy the extended warranty we cant do anything". Not even an apology, not a solution, nothing. I began to rant about how unacceptable and unprofessional that is and explained I DID test drive it and was assured everything worked. He said he would contact the owner and then our call got disconnected or I got hung up on. I called back about 10 times and was put on hold once they asked whos calling then disconnected multiple times. After repeatedly calling someone answered and said he was in a meeting. So I asked for him to take my number and have him call me asap. Still no phone call from anyone. This place does NOT care about anything once they have their sale. I will update my review if I end up calling but so far it is doubtful they will address the situation. Have a mechanic go with you and check every detail before purchasing from this shady place. I will be calling the business bureau tomorrow morning as well. Completely unacceptable. This does not even deserve 1 star.

Worst dealership ever. Our friend warned us not to go there but prices seemed cheap so we just wanted to check out a car they had. First, when you come on the lot youre not allowed just to look around on the lot unless you check into the office and have a pushy salesman escort you around which made us uncomofrtable. As soon as we pulled in the lot one of their salesman pounced on us and dragged us into the office. Theres no other way, youll be asked to leave if you dont like to do things their way. You cant walk on the lot on your own, I dont know why. Then the salesman was trying to show us on their computer how cheap their cars are compared to others, before we even saw the car in person. And we were told there is no discounts on ANY prices. All we wanted to do is check out a car we already researched. Most of their cars look like they are beat to death and barely running (probably rusty, Ontario rebuilds, some looked like they had fresh undercoat ot hide rust). The boss thats there (Jay) has serious anger issues, when we were in their office I could hear yelling and swearing coming from the back office. We went out on the lot and didnt like what we saw so we left. It could have taken us 2 minutes to do that, but instead we wasted 20 minutes being dragged around from the lot to office and then back to the lot. And our friend who bought a car there before had nothing but issues (electrical, and others), and they told him (same anger-management issue guy, name is Jay) it was in that condition when he bought it so they wouldnt fix it because it isnt power-train related so hes on his own, basically he was told to get lost. This lot was in richmond before but probably got ran out of town into Langley for their shady practices and rude attitudes. Save yourself the time, and buy elsewhere, unless you buy there be prepared that youll be told to get lost when issues come up with the car.
