Ive never had anything good to say about car dealerships until my experience with buying my Jeep from Original Applewood. I was in the market for a very specific type of vehicle, and my research led me to a couple other dealerships that had similar vehicles on their lot. My experience with those other dealerships were not good - they treated me like an idiot, so I had low expectations when I went to my viewing at Applewood. Those low expectations were shot out of the water. I met with Alen, a very pleasant, friendly, respectful and knowledgable salesman. He made sure the vehicle was ready to view/test drive, didnt waste my time with trying to pitch other vehicles, had the paperwork I wanted to review about the Jeeps history ready to view, and actually inquired about things and discussed whether this would be the right vehicle for me. He knew his stuff, wasnt pushy or overbearing, and didnt laugh me out of their showroom when I made my first offer. Although I went with my hubby, this vehicle was for me, and previous dealerships acted as though I was invisible, only speaking to my hubby when I was the one asking questions and were downright sexist towards me. When I say Alen was respectful, this meant a lot to me and sadly isnt the case with other dealerships salesmen. After the ink had dried, there was a hiccup with finding the spare key to my new vehicle, but Applewood Original made sure to cover the cost of a new key and fob (which arent cheap!) as well as found me replacement extras that normally would come with the vehicle brand new, but were missing when I bought it as this was a used purchase. They loaned me a vehicle to get me to work and back while they detailed and washed and filled the tank up with diesel fuel. I felt like I was driving away with a showroom vehicle with the care and effort they put into detailing it and made sure I was satisfied 100%. Ultimately, I drove away from Original Applewood with the exact Jeep I wanted, at a price I was happy with, and didnt feel manipulated or schmoozed by any of the salesmen and other staff there. I know this is a long review, but they impressed me, and when Im impressed, I let people know it. I would absolutely 100 000% recommend buying from Applewood to anyone considering a new/used vehicle.

We recently financed a new 2016 Nissan Rouge from here and I must tell you the service was far and beyond a business even going out of their way to help us. The environment was very inviting and everyone we had contact made us feel "Welcome" and appreciated. Our story goes back 5 years when we first financed a Van and even then the crew went beyond our expectations, with our "special" situation they were able to get us into a vehicle and even help us with our insurance issues, we felt going in we might not have a chance to get a vehicle but they changed that feeling immediately! From that day we said that if and when we were in a position to get another vehicle we would go back regardless of our situation. Now back to the present, when we got the call from George about maybe refinancing for a lower interest rate or possibly looking into a newer vehicle we decided to see what the options were. After a few phone calls and finding out we were going to get our foot in the door with financing from a major bank we made the drive from Vancouver to Langley. There we met George, Jake and Cam and could not have been met with a more genuine friendly and positive group of people, even sharing pictures of their new children just made it all feel relaxed. After finding out what options we had, a test drive was done and we made a decision that we could not be happier with. Even though our car was listed as used it had only 25 kms on it and I know the guys couldnt see how happy I was (because I have a good poker face) I was jumping for joy inside as what they never knew at the time that this was to be my 1st NEW CAR in my 50 years of life. They have now helped me twice in my life getting a vehicle and I will always always recommend them to anyone and everyone. All this said and done we were treated with respect and appreciation, and as a gay married couple that does not always come easy. I cant say enough but my appreciation goes beyond words, so GEORGE, JAKE and CAM thank you for everything you did for us! BIG HUGGS from Steve & Boris

As I sit here and write this, I think of how blessed I am to have had the privilege of buying a car from Erich Perkins. It is hard to find an honest salesman, and even harder to find one who truly has your best interest in mind. I was in a car accident and had 2 weeks to find a new car. My Aunt & Uncle told me about Erich and so I figured why not go in and see him. So my fiancé and I did. Right off the bat he was interested in helping us, and knowing our story. His sense of humour and honesty put us at ease right away. From there it was history. I bought a Kia Soul, which I love, although I must say it took a little convincing. Erich even went to the trouble of finding a pallet (he claims he didnt) to fit in my car, because I wanted to be able to do projects with them. He never once pressured me into buying a car, he just wanted what was best for me! A truly remarkable thing, considering he is a salesman. He was a blast to deal with and we had a lot of fun! Lately, Ive gotten to know Erich, George, Alex and the Applewood family a bit better, and I must say that these are some truly remarkable, kind and honest people! The secretary even did research on wedding venues for me as I am planning my wedding...going above and beyond is what makes them so special! There is NO BETTER PLACE to buy a car than from the ORIGINAL APPLEWOOD KIA. Do yourself a favour and do NOT go anywhere else! Seriously, you will not get this treatment ANYWHERE else!!! Applewood feels like home now when I walk in those doors and Erich is more than just our salesman now, but also our friend. Thank you Applewood for the AMAZINGLY PHENOMENAL service, you truly are worth your weight in gold!!! Thank you Erich!

Do NOT BUY FROM HERE! I purchased a car with 17xxx km that was "fully inspected" by there mechanic and had the paperwork to "back it up". After a test drive I decided that i wanted to move forward and purchase the car (the deal was done on a Friday night). After driving the car for the weekend, I had discovered 5 problems with the car (all of which were "inspected" by there mechanic and was also checked off on the paperwork which stated that it was working). I contacted them on Monday morning as notified them of my problems. after some back and forth, they told me that the car was still under warranty from the manufacturer and that I need to go through them for any warranty problems. I asked if it was possible to return the car and get my money back. They said no. I then asked if I could exchange the car for another one on their lot. They said no. They said no, however they were willing to take the car back as a trade in but stated that they would not pay me the full price back. I paid approximately $24000 for the car (before taxes and fees) and they told me that they would only be willing to give me $17000 for the car. keep in mind, I purchased the car 2 days earlier and had put less than 100 km on it since I purchased it. 2 years later and I am now outside of my manufacturers warranty. I have taken my car into the manufacturer approximately 20 times (10 of them for the same problem) and i am still dealing with the same problem which apparently cannot be solved. Not to mention that the car has had 4 other issues come up. THIS DEALERSHIP WILL SELL YOU A LEMON AND WONT THINK TWICE ABOUT IT. ONCE AGAGIN, STAY AWAY FROM THESE SCAMMERS!!
