What I like about this shop is that its close to my house and is very clean with a very presentable and professional lobby. The service bays are tidy. Most shops are dumps but this place is like a dealership. The staff and customer service is excellent and the work seems pretty good so far. I do have a couple of gripes about this place. I had 4 spark plugs replaced in my car and I was billed $90 for them. I said that seems way too expensive but was told they were iridium platinum plugs or whatever they were, so I said sure. I later checked with the dealership and they were only $15 each (thats a $30 difference)! So just be aware there is as much as a 50% mark up on parts and Im not even sure the parts that they put in were OEM factory... they could have been from Lordco for all I know. My other gripe is that they wont install customer provided parts even if theyre OEM parts and I totally understand why (liability and profits). But when theyre charging upwards of 50% markup or more on parts that may or may not be OEM factory it makes me think whether or not Im saving anything from going to them or to the dealer? I may be saving on lower shop rates but paying more on parts therefore making the argument of going to a small shop for the same value/expertise alot more ambiguous. Why go to a small shop when for the same price or a little bit more money I can have a true Honda, Toyota, Land Rover, or Ford technician going over my car and putting in the highest quality parts? Depending on the work needed, theres something to be said about a tech who works on 5 different makes of cars compared to a tech who sees one make of car everyday all day and knows all of the intricacies behind them. Norlang gets alot of great reviews and I can see why. Im also recommending this shop and I will be going back here because they do good work and I like to support small businesses. I just dont like the feeling of being gouged for parts when I know I can get them much cheaper. Just had to get that off my chest.

After being Jerked around by another "Mercedes Expert" several times we brought our C320 in for a repeat problem in the fuel turns out our previous expert had taken the fuel tank out to diagnose what was likely a fuel cap problem and broken a piece on the ridicules filler assembly on this car .... they found this with a vapor can with the tank in in 5 min and replaced the part with very little labour (expensive part mind you) . At the same time they diagnosed a clunking problem that the previous experts couldnt nail down so we split the two repairs up to make it a little more budget friendly and each repair they completed correctly the first time with no jerking around .... these guys are straight talkers and know their stuff .... they may not have a soft touch but they can fix a broken Mercedes ....

I had a vehicle making a strange noise on my drive in to work. Although the shop was busy when I called, Dan said I could drop off my car and they would see what they could do. Upon dropping it off, he took a minute to drive with me to assess the sound. They arranged for their shuttle to drive me back to my office. Within a few hours I received a call with the diagnosis of the problem and the immediate and not so immediate check up results that needed attention. The prices were fair, and they were able to get the major repair completed and provide a very calm, peace of mind experience. It didnt feel like a business transaction, but more like your buddy looking after your car. We then re-scheduled when a good time would be to get the other minor repairs completed the following week. Thank you again. MB

We read great reviews on this garage and decided we would give it a try because we were tired of poor service and over pricing at other garages. We had a terrible experience with this garage. We had a problem that we were told was fixed. Our car would not start and we spent approx 600 dollars to diagnose the problem and get it fixed. Less than a month later the same problem started occurring again. When we brought the car in we were told that we would need to pay to fix the problem because they could not determine what was causing it. Although 1 month earlier they seemed quite sure it was fixed. I spent 600 dollars and we are still in the same place we were. Needless to say we will not be returning to Norlang Auto. Youll get better service at canadian tire.

I would not recommend this garage. It was the worse experience I have had at a garage. I ask a mechanic to further explain a repair to me. He started out being rude and then changed to interrupting and being angry at me. This occurred in front of the manager, who did not intervene. I asked to speak privately with the manager, who was unconcerned with the issue. The manager would not further explain, nor would he apologize for the mechanics behaviour. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. Many more garages in Langley to choose from, which provided better customer service.

Timely service in a professional manner. Very courteous. Detailed diagnostics, repairs and service records provided and explained. All the staff are friendly & helpful. Ive had the good fortune of Dans service to my families vehicles for over 15 years. His service and knowledge is second to none. I ask his advice & implement it to save me time, money & grief. He personally kept my Honda running for over 675,000 km. Ive bought another used Honda after Norlangs thorough inspection knowing Dan will be looking after it. Thank you Dan & Norlang Staff!

My boyfriend needed a quick out of province inspection. Time was of the essence and we were aware there would probably be minor repairs needed. I found the staff to be very honest with an excellent level of customer service, something that seems to be only found in the old days. They inspected and repaired the vehicle in a timely manor, were honest throughout, and left the vehicle in a clean and organized state. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone I know. Our experience over all was an excellent one.

Took my BMW into Norlang Auto after confirming with another shop that the rear wheel bearing’s were worn out, they were able to give me a rough quote over the phone and email it to me for consideration. I then dropped my car off the following day for them to have a look at and further access the situation. They were able to do the repairs I needed and advise me of future work necessary. I would highly recommend them as their prices are fair and they work in a timely fashion with a professional approach.

Norlang Auto has very friendly competent staff, the price might be a little higher than others, but so far the quality and efficiency of repairs has been great. I hightly recommend Norlang for any vehicle makes and models. Washing the vehicle is also a very nice touch that makes big repairs not seem so painful when my dirty truck looks new again :-)
