Rated a 3 because the fella behind the counter know what they are doing but the young gals at the front till are not quite with it. Following direction and listening seem to be an issue. Pennzoil said I could find their green gloves at Lordco, so I went to Lordco. The young girl could not understand for the life of her that I was referred to Lordco as a customer and not working for Pennzoil. Youd think my nursing uniform would have been a clue but even that didnt help. It was a weekend so hopefully just part time when not in school. Maybe she was brand new as well. I dunno. Around in circles we went as I showed her how to tell the colour of gloves by the words on the boxes that said blue, black , etc. When I spoke with the gentleman from the parts counter he knew exactly what it was I needed, handed me the box and as I checked out this girl still asked for my Pennzoil account number. Honest to god. The upside to this interaction with Lordco is that this time my car wasnt backed into by the Lordco delivery truck. Yay team. The wonderful fellow who found the correct gloves gets a 5, the less than alert girl at checkout gets a 1 for still breathing ( being a nurse I give you points for that ). Overall is 3. Sad but true. And I didnt include the previous dealings a few years ago where a young gal delivering parts backed through my car and pushed through a chain link fence to turn her Lordco truck around, and dont understand why it was so hard to reverse. Now that would be a negative number if this scale had one. Would I go back. Absolutely. On a weekday. During school hours.

I have been a repeat customer at this Lordco location for several years and so far have always been very happy with their customer service. However, on Friday I went to get a quote on a tonneau cover for my truck. I was very excited to hear the cover I was looking for was in stock in their Vancouver warehouse and would be delivered to the store the next morning. When I arrived to pick up my order on Saturday morning I was told the cover did not get arrive and would now be delivered from their Parksville warehouse on Saturday afternoon. On my way in, for the second time that day, I received a call telling me that the cover once again did not make it in and that the guaranteed delivery would now be Monday morning. It is Monday today and I just returned from the Langford Lordco location where I was told my cover did not make it in, again. So after my fourth one hour round trip to Lordco I decided to cancel my order. I did not get the feeling that the staff I dealt with was overly concerned with the situation and did not seem too bothered to earn my $1000 business. Unfortunately, I will not be able to stay a customer at a store where I received such awful service.

Usually a great store, over a month ago i ordered a bud deflector for my truck, the counter staff said they had one in kamloops and would call me when it came in (it would take a few days) called back a week later and they did not have my order on file. They took my information again and said they would get one in from Kamloops (3 or 4 days). Called a week later and asked if it had come in, again my order was not on file. So i asked again to put my order in and they would call me when it came in. 1.5 weeks later (yesterday) I stopped by the store to see if had come in and there was nothing on file. (I am a patient person but this was getting ridiculous). This time the guy behind the counter said they have a bunch in Vancouver and it should be here next week. So once again i gave them my info and lets see what happens. I love going to lordco and get most of my accessories for my vehicles but they need more consistency.

Went to return some $17 JB weld that did not work. Purchased from Burnside location, Burnside location basically told me i was an idiot for trying to return glue that i had opened and told me to leave. Had to drive all the way to the Langford location..(where it wasnt even purchased) and they returned it for me no questions asked. Langford location even apologized to me on behalf of the burnside shop.

Being new to BC and the island, I have started using Lordco as an alternative to others. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. Shipping times are very reasonable as well are the prices.

No posted prices as real prices depend on knowing an account to use to pay cash and get better price. POS system is an antique from 1990 and takes a very long time to get through.
