I have been taking my car to a shop downtown for years. Even after moving to the West Shore I still had my car towed downtown just so I could take my car to someone I could trust. After a while the tows just werent worth the cost and I needed to find a local mechanic. I was referred to Glen Lake Automotive by a friend who said they were fast, and most importantly:honest. Larry, the owner is a really nice guy and is quite knowledgeable. I feel like I am taking my car to get fixed by my grandfather. Larry and the team are awesome. For me the best part about Glen Lake Automotive is that they keep their appointments and deadlines, plus they call when the work is done. So many shops never call, and in my experience that call is so important when you are without a car.

• Our Mustang came to a dead stop on the highway. (Yes, it had gas). We had to have it towed thinking we were up for big, BIG, Bill. The shop our car was towed to was Glen Lake. They could have said anything...but, the truth was our battery was dead. .... • The whole thing was under $80. • That was a Fri evening just as they were about to close that we came in.
