My husband, who has brain cancer, went into Visions over a month ago. He was sold a Yamaha receiver. I am not sure that we needed this, but he was convinced by the salesman we did. It wasnt compatible with our system, we didnt know this. We called the store and they sent out one of their technical guys who installed it for us and charged us another $125. for the service. It still didnt work. They sent out a second person who installed it, again it didnt work. They sent out, for the third time a person to install it and again we were unable to watch television or listen to the radio etc. We finally called SHAW. They came out the next day and hooked it up so that we are able to watch TV. He said the guy from Visions didnt hook it up correctly. We still have to use two remotes because of the incompatibility problem but are able to watch television.

Unfortunately Google doesnt give the option of zero stars. Went in to get a car stereo and had to take back 3 times to get it right. After 7 months it stopped working so took it in as I had a one year warranty. They tried to make me pay the installation fee. After I made a fuss he manager assured me they would make it right. They put an inferior stereo in and said it was the best they could do. All they want is your money and zero customer service. And dont try complaining to head office because they dont respond.

Prices and available equipment is good. Sales pretty good as well. Service over the phone is poor. Takes hours for a return call from their installation department. If a person let it ride for them to call back I doubt they would. I would take my money back but the remote start was a gift.

Bought a gift here and the employee James was really helpful and funny. He even gift wrapped my item even though they dont offer gift wrapping. All the employees seemed cheerful and helpful. If more stores had this kind of customer service the world would be a happier place.

Recognize that these guys, unlike the electronic big box stores like Future Shop, have more flexibility to wheel and deal on pricing. A Western Canadian owned small chain of stores. Support them!
