Great service at OK Tire!!!! Up until finding OK, I have always had horrible, uncomfortable experiences when taking my car into other mechanics without a "male escort". I have been insulted and spoken to in highly inappropriate ways, called "sweetheart, darling, honey" while being ripped off on previously quoted prices had always been a reoccurring experience. After my mom was treated very well and even had repair work done free of charge, that another mechanic had messed up, I took my car to OK and was pleasantly surprised as well. OK staff are respectful, friendly and they never tried to pressure me into work that I had asked for a quote on. The steady stream of women happily bringing vehicles in while I was waiting, speaks volumes to me, as every woman I know has had similar, if not worse, experiences to myself at other places. They seem to have a large returning customer base as I saw them greet many people by name and follow up on previous services done. The manager Michelle and staff are very friendly and professional. I had a tire and oil change but will be bringing my car back for more work as needed. Clean waiting area with magazines, cable TV and free Wifi is also a huge bonus!!

Bought new Kuhmo studded tires (215/65 r16) from them and had them mounted on dedicated rims, first season (used for 4 months), no problems. Next season (Another 4 months of use) we began to get random flats. Then last year we put them back on the van and they began to get flats non stop. Three flat repairs on the same tire? OK just scratched their heads. I took the van to another tire shop and they showed me what was going on: the studs installed by OK were too long, and were now piercing the inside of the tire! We paid 100 bucks to have all the studs ripped out, then I took the worst tire (Which had ten holes in it and was no longer repairable) to OK tire. The manager said hed look into it. Despite calling three times and getting the run-around we got NO SATISFACTION. Thanks for nothing. Talking to other guys at work they all have their stories about OK Tire. Buyer Beware, OK tire is not OK.

I was checking around a few places for the best price on a specific type of tire. When I called OK Tire, they gave me a quote that was not competetive. When I mentioned that another tire shop I called had given me a better quote, they spoke somewhat disparagingly of the other shop and said they would "see what [they] could do" if I could get a written quote. They had me somewhat convinced, so I went to the trouble of getting the quote, only to find out that the format of the quote wasnt official enough for them! The manager snickered and was rude when I said that I would have to go with the shop that offered the best prices. All in all, it was a massive waste of time. I am not sure if I would shop at OK Tire in the future, even if they had the best price.

Many years back we were were stuck with a rough running truck while hauling are horses home from a horse show in Red deer.We called Kamloops Chrysler on the way in and told them we were hauling horses and they said they couldnt fit us in as they were closing soon.Ok tire was first place we stopped,they had the fix for our truck a 75 dollar fuel filter,plus they brought out a hose to fill our horses water and they told us to take it for a short drive,just in case there were other issues!They went above and beyond required service,we have never forgotten this!

Ive been in Kamloops for 8yrs and have spent the lasts 8 yrs dealing with OK Tire. I am native american as well and have been treated with nothing but respect and courtesy. I didnt have to continuously remind them every time I have went in for tire change over, ballancing, mechanic work etc that I am "status" they automatically have it in their system and bill me appropriately. I have always gotten the best deals from the owners and have recommended their business to other friends and family.
