BANDITS I purchased a 31 foot RV Trailer from Butler RV, April 2014; trusting I would be treated fairly and told the truth. I began to use the RV in June 2014. I discovered that the hot water tank would not light; I also discovered the oven would not light. It was the first part of July 2014 that I first contacted Butler about the issues. Then in August, I took one of the 30 lb propane tanks out to take to Costco to have filled (An hour away). When I returned to my trailer, I opened the compartment door where the tanks are, I was greeted with an overwhelming stench of propane. Since the unit displayed a Gas Inspection Decal, dated November 2013, one would have assumed they actually checked out the “GAS” appliances. Apparently they didnt check the system; otherwise they would have discovered the issues. When I contacted the sales person , again, to inquire about this, the sales person replied (verbatim) “We didn’t make any money on it anyway, what do you want me to do about it?” Shocked? Absoulutely. In November 2014, the Refrigerator ceased to work. I again called Butler RV, they apparently were not at all interested in providing “Customer Service”. I was asked why I didn’t purchase a warranty. I have contacted the Better Business Bureau about this matter; BC Gas Safety Branch was apprised about their bogus inspection decal. At the time of this post, they have made no attempt to contact me. I have had to call them repeatedly to “NO AVAIL” for a resolution to this matter. I have made approximately 20 calls and 3 in store visits to Butler RV. Their disdain, contempt and condescending demeanor was truly amazing. This business is no business to do business with – Ever.

Absolutely terrible. I bought a truck from Butler Auto, and Im glad I paid for the extra warranty, because its been back to the shop 4 times now. I thought I was getting a decent deal, and now I know why they were willing to trade straight across for my other vehicle. So far the truck I bought from there went back and forth a few times with nothing fixed, then the turbo finally got replaced. A month later the turbo actuator had to be replaced, and NOW it has to be sent somewhere again because the fuel injectors are shot. I havent even had the damn thing for 3 months. It has been a nightmare. Avoid at all costs!

Dirty, dingy, and grubby. This describes every aspect of this dealership. We went here to look at a used RV. It had not been cleaned prior to looking at it, nothing was hooked up or running even though I gave the salesman notice that I was coming. The trailer was disgusting and had a very noticeable musty smell. They sell brand new Jaycos here; however, they DO NOT take care of them. A lot of them had flat tires and were dirty and stained on the outside. They sure take care of their products and take selling RVs seriously. Do not buy from this place. I will never be going back here.

I purchased a vehicle from this dealer, and the salesman first lied about it not being in an accident when it was. Then 100 km down the road the check engine light comes on, quoted $750 to repair. Then 200 km later the CV boot goes and I now have to replace the axle. It was only highway driven and in the first tank of gas I am facing over $1000 in repairs. I bought through them hoping for a sound vehicle I can trust and now am left with more expenses. This dealer does not inspect its vehicles properly. STAY CLEAR OF THIS PLACE! BUYER BEWARE!

Traveling from Ontario and had a problem with our tent-trailer in Banff. Called at least 10 places in Alberta and BC. No one would even look at it to determine the problem until we spoke to Chris at Butler Auto and RV. Super friendly and understanding of our situation- problem fixed within half an hour. Technician was extremely helpful and explained the issue and showed us how to fix the problem should it ever happen again. Very reasonable price. Grateful for their help and extraordinary service.

Worst place to buy a vehicle. The salesman told me he put brand new brakes and roters on. But everytime Id drive they would squeal. I kept bring it back and they kept telling me it was dust. Mabye a rock. I take it to Volkswagen and they tell me the roters are ready to fall apart and the brake pads arnt even the right ones. They are just cheap parts put on to make the sale. They wont fix the problem. Its going to cost me 0ver a thousand to put new brakes and Roters on.

Len (sales) & Ray (finance) made our buying experience awesome, my wife and I knew exactly what were getting ourselves into. Thank you gents! Mr. Joe Butler is a great guy too! Wouldve given Butler Auto & RV 5 stars if Jess (another finance guy) was as nice dealing with people as Ray was with us. Nevertheless my son is buying a new vehicle soon and I will definitely ask him to contact Len.

Sleazy Len guy tried to sell me a car that had been in an accident but pretended he didnt know. My friend is an expert and showed me the sticker that tells that is has been. The Len guy is the stereotypical "used car salesman" and he creeped my other friend out to the point my friend yelled "begone cockroach!". Never went back after the first experience.

Stay away from this dealership! They are the very definition of a used car salesman...they forge documents and sell defective products to the public. Just stay away.
