We purchased a used car from Dan Powell @ NorthStar GM in Cranbrook. We found him to be up front, easy to talk to and very accommodating. Both Dan and Northstar have gone above and beyond anything we had previously experienced in car purchasing. Dan closed the deal, held on to the car for an extra week while we were away and steam cleaned the upholstery upon my request. Dan also drove me to the Insurance company (as I wanted to stay with the same company we had previously used) & insisted on waiting while I insured the car. After 1 month with our new (to us) car we experienced some problems coming home from the Okanagan. One phone call on the way through Cranbrook and we had a loaner and were on our way home. We had been assured the car came with a 5000 km or 90 day warranty even though it wasnt a GM product. Norhstar and Dan were true to there word and the problem was rectified @ no cost to us. Needless to say we are thrilled with the service provided from Northstar GM and will definitely recommend them to any and all of our acquaintances. Thanks Dan and Northstar GM - great customer service.

I had an issue with my GM truck and brought it here thinking that they would know best. Staff was friendly but when I picked up my truck I noticed they didnt do the oil change I asked for. I mentioned it to the counter lady and she said she would make a note and Ill probably get a call from the service manager. I never got a phone call from the service manager and after spending nearly $2000 the issue with my truck wasnt fixed. I brought it back in and told them it wasnt fixed and mentioned again that that forgot to do the oil change last time so I had went somewhere else. I was told I would get a free oil change voucher, never got no voucher. They took another look at my truck and suspect the fuel pump but cant confirm thats whats acting up so I was turned away again until it acts up again. Friendly staff but disappointing service. Within a week of posting this review I received a phone call from the service manager and he wanted to make things better. They are replacing my fuel pump at a discount and picking up the labour costs. I feel they have made a good effort to rectify things

I have to receive body shop repair on my truck as I discovered some overspray. Northstar GM offered to go 50/50 with me on the payment which was very nice, as I had the truck for 2 months and didnt notice things were as bad as they were but I did have a 3 month warranty . The body shop wants to do a different kind of repair so Im not sure how things will turn out. I live out of town and have to rent a car as the body shop said "we dont give out a courtesy car for this kind of thing". And they need the truck for one and one half days. But I have my hopes up they will do a good job. Spencer

I started out looking for a quality used truck but through working with Jim Barber ended up with a 2017 Chev LTZ that I am very happy with. There was no pressure and I made the leap on my own after considering options Jim had set out for me. The dealer principal also intervened and "sweetened" the deal on my extended warranty. If the service and warranty are as good as the sale I will be back for another vehicle in 4-5 years.

We were travelling through Cranbrook on a camping trip and noticed a leak In brake line. We stopped by Northstar and they immediately took Us in! The job had to be finished following day so the Mechanic, Bob I believe , put hitch on his truck and towed our trailer to their parking lot and hooked us up with power! Great service and very appreciative! Thankyou

Over the last twenty two years I have always received excellent service from everybody I have dealt with. The workmanship is of the highest standard and all the personnel are welcoming and are very knowledgeable. Thats the reason that I keep coming back with my old 1994 3/4 ton. Peter.
