A great buying experience with Galaxy Motors. Wanting a surprise 50th birthday gift to our son, I drop by at Galaxy Motors Courtenay and was greeted by Peter Mallany. After expressing what I was looking for with a certain budget, Peter found the Truck in the system that had the criteria I had in mind. What I found doing the transaction was his helpful friendly demeanour without the "pushy attitude" I usually found at Dealerships in lots of my vehicle purchases. He arranged for the vehicle to be brought up from Victoria and followed with a test drive. The staff at the dealership (manager Joey) was very accommodating in allowing to store the vehicle until my sons birthday 3 weeks away. On the big day Peter did a great job in making my sons surprise visit/gift very special when we arrived at Galaxy Motors. Everything went as planned and very special. Thank you Peter and the staff. We were very impressed with the attitude and service provided. You will be highly recommended should we or anyone we know want a used vehicle from Galaxy Motors.

Phenomenal service. I was driving a leased truck when my driving needs changed. I needed a smaller vehicle with good fuel economy. I was told by ford, who I had my lease with, that I had to finish the last 2 years of my term and there was no way they could accommodate a change to a smaller vehicle. I went in to see Chris Castro at galaxy motor to see about purchasing a small inexpensive vehicle. As I still had an expensive lease to carry with Ford I was very doubtful there would be anything I could afford. Chris went above and beyond for me. He arranged to buy my lease from Ford and then helped me purchase the perfect vehicle for my needs! My payments are lower and my satisfaction is substantially higher. I highly recommend going to see chris at galaxy motors for anyone looking for great customer service and a smooth sale.

I called from Vancouver as I am moving to the Island for a job in Courtenay and I figured I would call Galaxy Motors to see if there were any good deals at their establishment for a trade in. Shirley (who answered my call) was incredibly rude and seemed uninterested in helping me to get through to a dealer. As soon as she heard me speak her tone changed and it was as if my accent had set her off. I would normally not write a review but her attitude was so demeaning towards me that I had to say something. I do not know if she was having a bad day but I eventually got sick of the treatment I was receiving and hung up. Hopefully, she was just having an off day but I did not understand why I was being treated so poorly and I will probably not go to Galaxy in the future because of this.

We recently bought a used vehicle at Galaxy Motors, Courtenay. We have never previously looked forward to car buying, but our experience at Galaxy was different. Peter M. was the most friendly and helpful salesman we could ever have hoped to meet; never once was he pushy or impatient. Instead of having to haggle over the price, he up-front offered us various discounts. So we assumed we would then get low-balled on the values of our two trade-ins, but Joey did the numbers and offered us very fair prices. It was a long day of decision-making, but it was an enjoyable and entirely stress-free experience - thank you Peter! I happened to pull in on a whim as I was headed to another dealership to finalize a deal on a different car, It was Friday night and I wasnt expecting anyone to still be there but I saw a really nice car that fit my criteria and Peter Mallany came out and greeted us and set us up on a test drive. 20 minutes later I was sold and after some tough negotiating on my part we came to an agreement. The guys had the paper work done up quickly and accurately and the insurance people were dispatched. By 7:30 that night we were on our way with our new car. Low pressure, quick and friendly service, and the follow-up was good as well.

I had purchased a car a few years back from their Victoria location and wanted to trade it in for a 2012 f150 ecoboost. Only issue was that I now live in Vancouver. So I was put in contact with Peter Mallany at the Courtney location. Not only was Peter knowledgable and very friendly (he invited me to join in on the staff bbq), he also gave me a great deal on the truck for coming from the mainland. Bought my first vehicle here back in May. I was one of the first customers and was happy with the selection they had. I purchased a 2011 ram 1500 and havent had any problems. I drove from Comox to Anchorage Alaska and had nothing wrong with it and Peter was very helpful in letting me know when a veichle that was in my price and selection range was in the lot. Would recommend taking a look if youre thinking about getting a vehicle!
