My 2010 Dodge Dakota, which still is under the Chrysler extended warranty, recently decided to have both front disc brake calipers seize leaving it undriveable. I managed to get the vehicle to the Comox Valley Dodge service center at approximately 11 AM. The Service Department staff immediately took my information and explained that although they were quite busy that they would get my truck in as soon as possible. They even offered us a ride home to Campbell River if we would rather not wait. They called at around 4 PM saying they were having an issue getting parts however were working with another dealer to get them sooner than later. They explained that if all went well my truck would be ready for pickup the next day around noon. Sure enough at noon the next day they called and told me the truck was ready and even offered to send a driver back to Campbell River to pick me up. They also explained that Chrysler expected me to pay for the new brake pads and rotors as well as their installation as they were wear items to the tune of over $400. I of course objected and Colin the Service Adviser said he would see what he could do. Upon my arrival at Comox Valley Dodge, Colin explained that he was able to get all the parts covered under warranty however Chrysler still expected to pay for the parts installation and would not budge on that. Although I did not agree with having to pay for the parts installation I feel that the Comox Valley Dodge staff went beyond expectations with driving us home to Campbell River, working with another dealer to get the parts, turned out they had to send a driver round trip to Campbell River to get the parts and finally to get all the parts covered under warranty, even the wear items. Simply put, I feel the Staff at Comox Valley Dodge went well above and beyond to get my truck back into service, get me back and forth to my home even though it was quite a distance away and finally fighting for me to get parts covered that would not normally be. Two poor service experiences from service with an extremely high price tag. $93 for an oil change with tire rotation. $35 at Midas for same service. Phoned my house to tell me it was ready, but neglected to tell me while I was sitting there waiting for 45 minutes. I had informed them I was there. The front was not vacuumed. I told them of their error and tried to say the paperwork goes up first, but they never even apologised. Twice. Already sold their van with all the little add ons on it so who cares now. My husband bought a used car from Brian Mcclean and they gave him two free oil changes and 4 more for $25. They did phone and apologize and quickly rectified the mistake by giving my vehicle free service on the next visit. Very cordial service With regards to my last visit of June 26 I was told that the back carpeting that has let loose and comes down every time I put the seat down is not warrantable and that somehow my doggs had pulled it down. I beg to differ. The dogs are much too big to fit in that space behind the seats, (a lab and a husky cross). The seats are always stowed when they are in the van. There are no marks of chewing or digging to even suggest this. This is my second visit with regards to this. The carpet was loose to begin with and the up and down of the seats pulled it down because of the poor fit. That space is reserved for luggage and groceries. It should not be worn out yet. I hope we can come to an agreeable outcome with this.

I had a wonderful "first time there" experience at Comox Valley Dodge. I showed up for a "no appointment necessary" oil change (way over due) for my 1 Ton Dodge Diesel. All the bays were full & people/vehicles were coming in steadily. I expected to have to make an appointment & come back another day. They took my information & within 10 minutes or so my unit was in getting the 10,000. km service. This is much more than just an oil change. Tires were rotated, Brakes checked, Cooling System, Fluids, Exhaust, etc., all checked. The total bill was less than what I would have paid at home, in Alberta, for just an oil change! And, I didnt have to find a car wash as they washed the outside & cleaned the inside. Very Impressed! The three staff members I spoke with were very friendly & answerd all my questions, even the ones that had nothing to do with my truck. Will definitely be making Comox Valley Dodge my place of service when we get moved out here. Thanks!

I purchased a used vehicle at the end of July 2013, from Comox Valley Dodge. I was always greeted with a friendly smile each time I came in to shop around and make my final decision. Robert was very helpful and made sure that I was purchasing within my financial limit, and with some research, discovered that I was able to extend the lenght of the vehicles warranty. I was happy to purchase this as worry free driving for the next 5 years was very important to me. I recently had my oil and air filter changed at Dodges service department. I was happy to book my appointment for the early morning and have their shuttle service usher me to my work on time with no interruption to my day. Upon pick up, I was pleasantly surprised to find that my vehicles interior had been vaccuumed too. Thank you Dodge for your honest and reliable service. I will return to you everytime.

We were looking for a used SUV as a college graduation gift for our daughter. We met with one of the salesman, Parker Humphrey. He was very helpful and found the perfect vehicle that had come in on a trade .... a 2011 Mitsubishi Outlander. Better still the manager had just listed it on sale at a very good price. We took it for a test drive for over 1 hour and loved it. We had to wait a week until our daughter was back from college to surprise her. Parker was awesome and offered to drive it up to our house in the morning after our daughter arrived home to really surprise her. The SUV even had a big bow on it. What a surprise and our daughter really loves it too. Now Parker has located and ordered in a trailer hitch for the Outlander. All the other staff that we met were also very helpful. I was in a high interest loan (29.5%) and I saw a 2013 charger sxt online, I immediately contacted Don at comox valley dodge. 2 days later I drove up from Victoria to see the car. Upon my arrival the staff was no pressure and very pleasant to be around. No pushy salesman here!!! I drove away the same day (Sunday) yes they are open Sundays! And my interest rate drastically reduced I was very pleased not only with the customer service but with how quick and easy the experience really was. I love my car and so does everyone else lol. Thank you again Don for the best car buying experience anyone could ask for. Ill recommend your guys dealership to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle. Oh and I will be back when I deem time for another vehicle as i said the experience was phenomenal thanks again. Matthew.
