So I drive by this place on my way to work everyday. I finally thought about how it would benefit me to be able to just my drop my vehicle off to get an oil change/inspection, and then I can just walk to work and pick it up after. I thought why not, lets try this place out. I am happy to say that I was very pleased by their friendly and informative service. Colin and Robin, did the work in acceptable amount of time and at a reasonable price. Thats all you want from Mechanics - Honest work and friendly service.They explained to me exactly what they thought a problem was (which was something that didnt need to be fixed) and did an oil change and that was it. They looked over everything and were very informative. I will definitely will be coming back. *Note - I drive a 2004 Ford Ranger.

Was visiting Vancouver from Victoria over the weekend and had some truck issues. Colin at Formula Automotive was a huge help in diagnosing my problem immediately and letting me know what needed to be done. With a few quick fixes to get me back to Victoria so I could get the proper work done at home I am forever grateful to Colin and Rob at Formula Automotive for being so kind, honest and generous. They are right across the street from Crash Crawlies so a great place for kids to entertain themselves while work gets done on your vehicle. Ive been taking my cars to Formula Automotive for years (since they were in Burnaby). Robin is honest and reliable. He explains things very well and I always know the scope and cost prior to doing the work (which is always cheaper than the dealer). As an example: Subaru dealer scheduled service $450; same scope performed by Formula: $95. Work is always performed on time. Why cant more businesses operate like this?

Robin is a very honest person. His work is based on quality and service. If he cannot do the work, he tells you directly and recommand you to go to the dealer, he wont charge anything. By the way, he has a cute dog there that brings some fun during waiting.

Its hard to find honest auto repair shops nowadays but this is one of them. Been going to Formula Automotive since they were in Burnaby and continue to go there after they moved to Coquitlam. Burnabys loss is Coquitlams gain.

Robin was a great help and let me know everything I needed before the work was done. Blown head gasket, broken timing belt, new spark plugs and lead wires and havent had a problem with it since it was done.
