I was looking into buying a new vehicle, my first new vehicle ever, and the Honda Fit was very much what I was seeking. I was treated well during the test driving and provided with good information about the vehicle during the test drive. Once the test drive stopped is where my experience turned negative. I was immediately pressured for a sale asked “what’s stopping you from buying this car today?” to which I honestly responded “it’s a bit too pricey for what I’m looking for.” I had done some research on the vehicle online through the Honda site but the dealership had a few more fees. I was then basically bamboozled with “monthly installments” instead of the total cost like I would have preferred to discuss (then going into financing if we could agree upon a price for the vehicle). I asked to take the cost the dealership was offering me home to look over and see if it would work with my finances because the cost was higher than what I had budgeted for (this would need to be done before I’d purchase a vehicle at a higher cost than what I planned). I was told that I couldn’t take this home because they “didn’t want to play games” and have me shop the cost around. Fair enough I guess but not only was that not my intention but they never budged on the cost at all so it’s not like I could shop around “this dealership is literally giving me no deal at all.” I’ll admit because it was a first car purchase I was new to the experience so maybe I should’ve pushed back more but regardless it wasn’t enjoyable and I ended up going to a different dealer. Honestly Id still go back in a number of years if Im on the lookout for a new car but when I do I’ll be a lot more assertive because I definitely felt pressured by the sales staff.

Trying to get our Honda Civic in for Service. Service writer (s) said they would call us Monday, this is now late Tuesday afternoon and my wife and I dont expect to get a call today either. Very disappointed with "Customer Service"....... --- UPDATE: 10 April 2015 --- We still havent heard anything from the Service Writers. What really baffles my wife and I. .... Is we bought this car from Murray Honda. Their Customer Care Program needs some "Care". Sure makes you think twice where we purchase our next Honda. ~~UPDATE :August 26, 2015~~ Still nothing from this dealership..... Were not surprised. BTW..... Has everyone noticed that the "Owner" doesnt reply to customers reviews anymore. Guess his staff isnt the only ones that dont have time for customers. CUSTOMERS = MONEY FOR YOUR BUSINESS ************************ Customer Care Update January 26, 2016 ************************ Its unfortunate that it took a bad review in order to get our car looked at....... and as of today the vibration problem still has not come back to haunt us. For that we have to thank Darren for stepping up to resolve our customer care & car issue. One problem fixed and now One to go. We now have an electrical issue, which in turn becomes a Safety Issue as was somewhat explained to the wife and I. Car is not fixed and our family is subjected to drive an unsafe Honda. Darren. ...... The floor is yours.

My wife and I came in to purchase two vehicles from Dustin. I have never had a more attentive and helpful salesman than him. He listened to our needs, and recommended vehicles based on our situation. My credit score was awful, but they were able to find me solutions. He helped me navigate the finance part. By putting me in touch with yet another incredibly helpful person. It took about 5 days for us to finish the deal. The entire time, Dustin would call me to make sure we were still happy. He comes off more as a friend than a salesman which I really liked. He was very informative on the vehicles and made sure to show us every detail and feature. He was patient, and never made us feel like a question was dumb. In this day and age purchasing a vehicle can be a real pain. You never really know if what youre being told is whats best for you or best for them. Ive had horrible experience with other dealerships in the Chilliwack area. But after this, I will be a Murray Honda customer as long as Dustin is there. I will also be a Dustin H. customer for life. I knew the entire time that he was there to help me. Its the only time I HAVENT felt like a bad person when my credit score is visible to another human being. No shame from Murray Honda, just options and solutions. Im very happy to be a family member of Murray Honda and its incredible sales team.

Let me just say that the employee culture at this Dealership is is one to be envious about. Everyone I encountered there sales, finance, parts and service all clearly loved being a part of the team. No one was just going through the motions here! Refreshing to say the least! Especially since I just had a terrible experience at another local dealership. Paul the sales manager pulled a lot of strings to make my tough situation with my current vehicle go away and got me into a new Odyssey. Just a great, trustworthy guy. Greg in sales was an honest, friendly fellow who was happy to take the time to explain how our tech package worked not only once, but twice as my wife and I went at separate times. Raylene in service is super easy to deal with and you just feel like shes got your back. My only comment ( and its minor) would be for Darren the dealer to have talked to his customers. ( a quick handshake and a thanks for dealing with us would go a real long way from the big kahuna, but I can appreciate hes a busy guy and he has amazing people surrounding him to do that:) The team even delivered my aftermarket cargo box and winter tires from my old van right to my house for me!! Above and Beyond!! Great job team!!!!

We dealt with Justin Mallard when our daughter Stephanie purchased her 2012 Honda Civic. We were all treated with the utmost respect and Justin was such an honest person and took my daughters personal interest seriously instead of taking advantage of her vulnerability since it was her first time owning a new vehicle. She got into a car accident a year later and we had to have it towed. I contacted Justin (in the evening I may add) as she was very upset and didnt know how to deal with it. He helped us find a towing company and he even called them the next day to make sure we were being treated good. We have always been a purchaser of North American vehicles but the outstanding service we have received from Murray Honda and Justin has changed our mind and we will now only purchase Hondas. The service department treats you like a family member when you come in for your servicing and make sure that you are looked after while your vehicle is in the shop. The are very honest and friendly people and do not change things that dont require it and are very reasonably priced. We just purchased another new Honda from Justin last December and we will be purchasing our third one from him this summer.

Two days after striking up a deal to buy a 2016 fit lx in Jan 2017, they tell us that they dont have that vehicle in stock anymore and can only sell us a trim model that costs $2000 more. Makes sense because they want the old model off their lot to make room for the new 2017s. My wife caves and goes for it. But really isnt this what dealers do? They tell ya they can make the deal you want happen, and when they have you hooked by putting money down and saying, you can have what you want, WHAMO! they up sell you to make more money and corner you with no other suitable options. Truthfully I give em 2 stars, but I want my opinion to reflect more so I gave them one lonely star. The car however is nice and I do appreciate that. Ill take this review down as soon as they make up the difference in some fashion. Wrap my car with 3m vinyl. Give me the extended warranty. Something, anything that would be of similar value. Nothing, they wouldnt budge.
