I rented vehicles from this branch in July 2012 and July 2013 and neither experience was positive. On both occasions, there was no rental car available at the time of my reservation. In July 2012, I had booked the car for a 9:30 a.m. pickup. A car was not available until 1:30 p.m. and my day trip to Kelowna had to be cancelled. Things happen so I didnt make a big deal of it. In July 2013, I again had a car booked for 9:30 a.m. When I arrived I was told there was no car available, but one was being brought from the neighbouring City of Abbotsford. The car arrived only half an hour late, but it was a car that shouldnt have been rented to anyone. The Engine Oil Light was on, the cover for the back hatch had broken off and never been replaced and the car lurched in slow moving traffic. The lack of a hatch cover was the biggest issue, as it forced the cancellation of a day trip to Whistler as we couldnt leave our luggage in an uncovered hatch while we toured the town. When I returned the car, I told the employee how disappointed I was. He was genuinely upset that I had been given this kind of vehicle and he told me the Manager would call me as soon as possible to set things right. Five weeks later I hadnt heard a thing. I advised the Enterprise Head Office of my very negative experience and told them I will obviously use a different car rental company in the future. The people Ive dealt with at this branch are nice, but that really doesnt matter much when you either dont have a car for your reservation, or youre provided a car that needs both servicing and repair (i.e. a new hatch cover). Two bad experiences is enough for me.

BEWARE STAY AWAY FROM ENTERPRISE CAR RENTAL Not impressed with enterprise car rental company. They say you take care of the customer. Well they ruined my vacation. I reserved a Mini Van rental several months ago through Kayak. The rental was suppose to be available at LAX airport as we were coming from Canada to go to Disneyland. When we arrived at your airport office they said that we had to go to another Enterprise office to pick the up rental. The guy at the front desk was rude and unhelpful he told me that it was 15 miles away to that reserved location which we would of gone but had no transportation thats why we rented a car. He could of offered us a ride but he refused to. He said that because it was a third party they couldnt honour it. That should not make a difference I have come to Lax several times and never had a problem. I dont really care that it was done through a third party your name is the rental business not honouring the rental. Enterprise even called me to confirm the reservation at which I asked them if they were located near the airport at which they responded yes. The front desk person said if we wanted a mini van it would be at almost 3 times the price. Our hands were tied and we had no way to get another rental so we ended paying the rite off price. Enterprise did offer me a $60 refund but the total extra charge was 149.53 that I payed, due to their screw up. Their moto is "that they pick you up" which is a bold face lie. Their moto should be "they cheat and scam you. I will never ever use Enterprise again. If you dont want to get over charged STAY AWAY FROM ENTERPRISE CAR RENTAL.

We had the worst experience ever on the Chilliwack location. The rental car wasnt cleaned and fueled up from the previous customer. Here you can see the vehicle condition at the time of pick up. Everything was filthy and the garbage from the previous customer still in between the seats. Gross sticky stains on the back seats, cup holders and radio buttons.... And in addition the fuel tank was only 3/8 full. There is no excuse for this condition as there were 4 staff members sitting around in the office when my husband picked up the car. One of those staff members should have been able to prepare the car for the new rental. I contacted the company and made them aware about our experience. No reaction! Would not recommend this company.

Having previously used Enterprise in the past, I was sure Im going to get a quality experience and value for money. Couldnt be more disappointed. The good: I was picked up, as promised. The check in process was prompt. The bad: The serving person (the branch Manager), didnt do a vehicle inspection walk around, the argumentation was - "you took full coverage option, and its raining outside" - seriously? No tourist attraction recommendations offered. The vehicle was dirty, windshield wipers in terrible state. Would not recommend this rental place to anyone.

On July 8th I had a motor vehicle accident and car in shop, I made a reservation as they did not have a car and was told I would be called as soon as one came in. I have made a couple calls since. This morning still nothing on the lot. Staff told me he would find me a car by calling his customers and seeing when they would return but if nothing found i am stuck again without a car. I had to go as far as Langley to get a rental to go back to Kelowna. I think this lot must only have a couple cars because waiting for 3 days is rather nuts.

Unlike the whiner, who didnt get tourist attractions offered. I found the manager, helpful, attentive and efficient. Its always the whiners that make tons of noise because they are PMSing and take it out on these forums.
