I rented a small car from Clearway last week. I only needed a car for a day and I read all the reviews of the big name rental companies. Some reviews were positive and some were very negative, which led me to suspect that rental company staff had added positive reviews to offset the negative ones. I figured the best bet would be to find a company that was owned and operated by a local family...people who live next door to their customers, so to speak. I came upon Clearway in my search and this looked like a long time Chilliwack family run business. I went there and the whole experience was pleasant with no little hitches. I just remembered....the gilrs behind the counter paint their nails interesting colours! :)

My car broke down at the start of a road trip so we needed a last minute rental to continue on our journey. The staff at Clearway were really helpful and friendly. They were able to provide me with a car right away, and they even closed their office temporarily so they could collect us - and our luggage - from the car repair shop. I would definitely use them again!

Rented a van to transfer yard trimmings. Great, prompt, knowledgeable, friendly service and rates better than the competition. Plan to rent a larger truck from them next month. Very satisfied. Excellent service when I was feeling a lot of pressure to get to a commitment, really first class the way they handled everything with a friendly and helpful attitude that went the extra mile for me. Will consider going drastically out of my way to get a rental from these blokes again in the future.

Charged $656.46 for extra milage on a rental car, (3647 km. x 0.18.) I like the competition better, (Hertz) with unlimited milage. And thanks Mike, with your professionalism by saying "you signed the contract." That pretty much guaranteed never coming back.

Not a bad place to rent a vehicle. Watch and make sure your kilometers are correct before you leave.
