Insurance company was paying for a rental car for me, the man who picked us up to drive us to Budget at the Castlegar Airport was super nice. Really nice person, I hate to write this review because my experiece with him was wonderful. There was this girl, I believe her name was " Nichole". She was extremely rude from the beginning. She asked us for our credit card, and we informed her that a family member was going to be providing a credit card over the phone. She said " No we dont do that. " and started insisting she told the insurance company. I checked with the insurance company ahead of time when they were making the arrangements, So Im pretty sure this girl was lying. She kept glaring at us, giving us dirty looks and making us uncomfortable. When it wasnt busy, she was busy sitting on the terminals chatting away with a coworker. When we walked by she glared at us and ran behind the desk. We walked right past and went to Practicar, where the girl behind the counter was extremely friendly. "Nichole" should learn some better customer service skills. She should learn to not give people dirty looks, and not to say " no!" in a rude tone to customers. Really upset our experience was ruined by this ignorant employee

These people are a bunch of rip offs and heartless money hungry thieves. They see that you have a corporate reservation for a certain rate and a certain total estimate but still screw you over by charging you for winter tires which should be included in a province where their vehicles legally should have winter tires by law during the season, a safety feature that should be provided by law in bc during the winter and there shouldnt be an option to say no i would like no winter tires im planning on dieing today. They even change the rate as well and screw you over so when the time comes for you to do your expenses you have to go through hell to get reimbursed. I wish enterprise or national had a location here. I think im just going to drive out here from now on. Its better than dealing with these con artists.

Fantastic personalized service! We arrived late for our reservation at the YCG airport due to a missed connection from Vancouver but Budget was waiting for us and even offered another vehicle at a lower rate which suited us better. The service was friendly and they brought the truck round for us while we wheeled our luggage to the curb. Very pleased with the service and price.

Terrible service. Didnt give me the vehicle I asked for. Said the credit card charge was a deposit at the beginning of the rental period but they charged the entire amount on day 1. Cant be trusted to do a proper job

Rude rude rude!!! The supervisor was very kind but the young lady at the counter in the airport terminal should not be serving the public!!!!
