This is my fair review for this establishment. Its a good place if you want a cheap and fast wash. But I have scratched my car numerous times using their triple foam brush that my car has so many swirl marks and deep scratches. I dont think they can do anything about the brush because they would need to hire someone to wash them every time it is used. So I would suggest you bring your own (or sponge) and a bucket. Going to have to pay for a car detail service soon which will cost me over $150 just from using this car wash service. Management seems to be around to help out and are near the garbage bin. Their machine only ate one of my coins so I have only lost $2 once but I didnt bring this up to them. Also most of the stop timer dont actually work so some machines may not work properly as well. I still enjoy this wash as it is super cheap and I will be getting my own bucket and sponge for next time. Take care!

I use this car wash a few times a year when I am out towards Burnaby and I have found the premises to be clean and equipment in good working order when I am there, usually find an employee there who is cleaning / maintaining the premises to be helpful if needed, I also enjoy the setup of having the vacuums right before the wash bays which makes it efficient when busy. As others have mentioned this is one of a few of this style of car wash around (wand wash or "hand wash" as others have mentioned). Some of the down side I have found similar to others; the end result usually isnt great (lots of stuff left behind particularly noticeable if your car is quite dirty or a dark colour), not sure if it is the kind of soap they use, the pressure seems to be more than adequate. I also dont like how there isnt a "low pressure spot free rinse" option.

Thought Id try this place out. Not a a great experience. Soap appeared to be watered down. Vacuums are so old and suction poor. They must be from the 70s. I think they only get customers because there are few self serves around. Luckily there is a new self serves car wash on 6th near new West. Way better in my opinion. Compare yourself. Youll see what I mean.

I love do it yourself car washes. No machines to damage your car. $2 for 8 minutes?!?!? Are you kidding me?!!!? Room to dry the car off too. Had to laugh at the (2) one star ratings both posted at the same time describing their anger at not being allowed to dump a bunch of stuff in Royal Oaks garbage. Id have dumped it back in their truck too if I owned the place.

The soap in their foaming brush seems to have no effect. I scrubbed and scrubbed before rinsing, and the car looked great... until it dried 30 minutes later. It somehow looks even worse than before. A friend of mine had exactly the same experience but didnt bother writing a review. Wash your car at home and enjoy the results instead of regretting the $8 or $10 lost.

Its ok if youre really in need of a car wash and youre willing to go anywhere. All manual bays. Staff on site are scarce. Unfortunately this location uses a token system which is a rip off if you dont need to use all the tokens. Youll be left with little coins you dont need. Please switch to coin operated or card operated systems!

Worst experience Ive had in awhile. The janitor shows up and decides Im throwing to much garbage in the provided garbage bins before I vacuum and wash my vehicle. He then decides to dump the entire garbage bucket into my truck bed. The police were informed and I will never return. Pathetic.

I like to wash my vehicle myself and this is a rare find in Vancouver for some reason. This place does the job but needs some modernization. Using tokens is archaic and a pain in the butt. They should have credit card and cash activated wand washes like everywhere else in Western Canada.

probably the rudest experience Ive had so far, worker argued that we were throwing out to much garbage, then took what we threw out and dumped it in the back of our truck and created a mess....I wouldno recommend this place to my worst enemie, owner didnt seem to care either

Vacuum, pressure washer for couple of coins. You can spend here as much time as you want if you do not like those automated car washes :) Place is usually quite crowded in afternoon and after work time, better come here in the morning or late in the evening.

This oasis houses the last wand wash spot in Van. You can get away with a $2 wash if youre experienced! I appreciate the count-down timer on the machines. Might be good to bring your own wheel cleaner, though.

Decent pressure on sprayers, super cheap. Can get quite busy, but there is no wonder why! I dont use the brushes due to swirl risk, but Im sure they are no different.

Wash your own car, save money. Great washing bays well equipped and the vacuum stations give you a long time per token. Love the triple foam brush.

Buy coins to operate vacuum and car wash. $4 will wash your car and another 2$ once a month. Cheap little place for penny pinchers like me hehe

One of very few hand wash car wash places. A little dirty at times. But I go late at night to avoid the lineups and sketchy people.
