Customer service was excellent. The staff were friendly and very willing to help. I thoroughly enjoyed meeting Ebi, my sales consultant, and Brent, the finance manager. However, disappointing drawbacks in my experience were the third-party bodyshop and the repair shop they contract with. Primeline Autobody is the body shop. They did a sub-par paint job around my re-finished car. One corner of my rear bumper was just filled up with a touch up pen. Front bumper had a patchy paint job that showed tape lines and mismatching colours. I had to ask our friendly staff from Jim Pattison to negotiate for a repaint. The body shop also skipped fixing a palm-size dent on the side, which Jim Pattison got it fixed on my second repair trip. However, Primeline autobody introduced new scratches on the spot where they fixed the dent... I found out on the internet afterward that other people who used Primeline Auts service also have had frustrating experience for collision repairs. I also hope Jim Pattison will demand for higher standards from Fountain Tire (Kingsway), which they contracted for my pre-sale maintenance. The shop quoted that they did an oil change, brake job, and tire alignment, etc. A couple weeks after owning the car, my brakes were making vibration noise, which I could not identify myself. I eventually paid Toyota dealership for a thorough inspection, and they fixed the brake issue and found other issues. Fountain Tires tire alignment was ironically off. I had pay for a new tire alignment. Fountain Tire also jammed my cabin air filter inside my fan assembly the wrong direction, and crumpled up the HEPA filter as the result. Toyota has a peculiar way of inserting their HEPA filter sideways, and clearly the technicians at Fountain Tire lacked experience with Toyota cars. Overall, I still recommend Jim Pattison Lease because of their excellent customer service. Just remember to take the car you want to buy to a reliable, third-party mechanical inspection.

I had to write a review about my experience with Jim Pattison Lease in Burnaby, because I am so happy!! Because I live in Victoria, they helped me over the phone. Ebi (our carsales person), worked out a deal over the phone, after looking at photos of my trade-in vehicle via e-mail. I will add that Ebi did not play those silly "sales games" as I experienced here in Victoria. I was treated very respectfully. They even offered to pay for my Ferry ride over (and they did :). They took my trade -no problem. The deal was so amazing that I saved over $1400.00 by going over to Burnaby. The minute I walked through the front door at Jim Pattison Lease, the two ladies at the front desk welcomed me, and were very caring and genuine. The car sales person, Ebi, found the exact car to fit my budget and lifestyle. Ebi is a great person. I saw a car that was more expensive, and he didnt try to "upsale" me like many car sales people will do. He sold me the best car, at a price that I could never get here in Victoria. Both Mike and Jimmy were wonderful too. They were the Finance and Insurance guys. They had me in and out within an hour, because they wanted me to catch my Ferry in time. I cant say enough good about these people to anyone out there who reads this. To them...Ebi, Mike, Jimmy and the gals "Thank you!!" If you are looking for honest sales people with honestly good products at honestly fair prices - Jim Pattison Lease Burnaby is the place for you. Our family, relatives and friends have purchased multiple vehicles from Ron Bans- one of the managers, and will continue to do so in the future. You wont find the old style high pressure tactics being used here.. the entire staff is incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable- they will work with you to find the perfect fit and they are fully transparent about their products. In our last purchase, we worked with Ebi- he worked in tandem with Ron to provide us the same level of excellent customer service we became accustomed to from Ron. Buying a car is the second biggest purchase you make in life, which can be incredibly stressful, but Ron made it easy and enjoyable.
