DO NOT TALK TO BERRY FORSYTHE OR TONY HO REMEMBER THESE TWO NAME BERRY FORSYTHE TONY HO I was supposed to test drive Escalade. CAR WASNT READY TO TEST DRIVE. IN FACT, they had one in show room. BUT They didnt want to bring show room one out for test drive. Which LEXUS BURRARD DID!!!! YA I TEST DRIVE LX570 and GX460. They actually brought it out from show room!!!! Which I really appreciate. IF YOU DONT HAVE VEHICLE TO TEST DRIVE, DONT MAKE PROMISE WITH CUSTUMER TO DO TEST DRIVE! SIMPLE!!!! I look young. YA I KNOW. In fact, I am close to 40. LOOKS LIKE BERRY DID NOT WANT TO BELIEVE I AM POTENTIONAL BUYER. SO DID NOT PREPRED THE VEHICLE FOR ME. Berry who were supposed to be there for me wasnt there. Tony who were backfill was supposed to help me up was rude and did not want to take Berrys responsibility. NO PROPER APPOLOGY WAS MADE WHILE I WAS THERE. TONY was saying he left message 11am. Which I was already heading to GM CARTER. I made appointment on FRIDAY which was 4 days ago. It took 4 days to figure out to tell me "I DONT HAVE TEST CAR FOR YOU"??!?!?!?!!!!???? And TONY insists that he helped me by calling North van shop to arrange time. Are you kidding me??? I COULD DO THAT MYSELF. YOU WERENT HELPING!!!! I am very upset at these Two people (BERRY FORSYTHE, TONY HO) and they have ruined my experience with GM CARTER which I bought my first car. Im NEVER GOING BACK GM Carter due to these two people. BERRY FORSYTHE TONY HO VERY RUDE OF YOU.

We purchased our first per-owned vehicle with Carter last December. As we learned our family was about to grow, we decided to change our Cruze thus we went back to visit Carter. Almost one year later, as we entered into Carters shop - Jamie Reynolds, instantly recognized us and (not) surprisingly he recalled our names. After a warmed welcome we seat with Jamie to discuss our needs, preferences, and budget availability. Jamie took the task to find us options. And he did. Even though our budget was apparently tight versus the preferred chosen SUV - Jamie "fought" with his manager to find and provide us with alternatives that would meet our need, preferences, and budget. That was the time we had the chance to meet with Jamie and his manager Ross. What a great person, too! In a very transparent and professional way Ross explained us why he could not cover our offer and what possibilities he had to get closer to our budget. After a good meeting, with Jamie and Ross, where both sides stretched here and there, we came up to a final and win-win deal. At the end Carter paid a fair value on our per-owned Cruze; made up the path for us to trade in and purchase our current Terrain; and we felt very well served by Jamie and Ross. Looking forward to get back when we need to purchase our next car. Thank you Jamie and Ross for being so supportive.

My family bought GM cars for years and always dealt with Carter, including for servicing. I own two GM cars nearing and over 20 years old and this dealership has been helpful to me where some others would want to charge me simply to give me info regarding my car. I can see why my family dealt with Carter for so long. If looking at the used cars, make sure you spend a good deal of time with the hood open with both the engine running and not running, checking for smoke, other signs of leaks, and at the fluid levels. They have always had at least one interesting older car on the lot that stands out amongst the others every time Ive visited and for these older not-too-often seen cars the price stands out as well! If youre paying this high dealership price make sure its because theyve gone through the car and fixed everything needed. Doing this youll have a likely much better car for much less money that you wont see another of on every block, and with a GM guarantee. I myself will never buy a new car unless the "big three" can smarten up in several ways (the "Buick" Envision up there is made in China?!) so have no experience dealing with the new sales division. Buying an import isnt a consideration.

Had a very negative experience here the other day. Was supposed to be a good thing buying a new truck but immediately I had buyers remorse. Was told my truck came with on-star and could pair with my phone to show diagnostics scheduled maintenance etc. He told me he was setting it up for me and would show me how to use it after because the business office was going to close. and then I didnt find out it wasnt a feature on my truck until a week after I bought it when I asked him to help me set it up.He then said he told me between the business office and the on site insurance office that the feature was not included. Even if so, AFTER I ALREADY PURCHASED it. I asked for them to put the feature back on my truck they said they couldnt but would offer free fog lights instead. Came back and said they couldnt do that either. I asked them to get me the same truck with ALL the features I purchased and they wouldnt do that either. Up until I signed my name on the financing all I heard was "yes, we can do that! And after the fact they were unable to rectify the issue. Unless I was willing to be accountable for their mistake/ Practices. Steer Clear if you value your hard earned money!

I took my truck in to get service on a squeaky front end. After inspection they say a ball joint needs replacing. $700. I tell them that I cant afford that right now so I pay for the inspection fee. When the mechanic drives my truck up to me he says. "You should budget better". SERIOUSLY? The mechanic is giving me financial advice?!?! Its not that I cant afford it, its that I dont want to be price gouged. Heres how they tried to gouge me... Lordco sells the ball joint separately. GM sells the ball joint with the lower control arm as a package. Do you have to replace the lower control arm? No. So they get you on parts and labour on something that doesnt have to be replaced. They will claim it needs to be replaced to justify the up sell, but it simply doesnt. They also charge more for GM parts and more for labour. GM wonders why they lose money. I found a licensed mechanic to do the job for $280 taxes in. My previous vehicles were a Range Rover and a Mercedes. I never had a mechanic suggest I budget better to afford their product. Goodbye Carter GM.

I went to several dealerships, after finally deciding that it was time to replace my car with another latter model pre owned vehicle.. No matter where I went, I was pounced on by the car lots salesperson. Most of the cars that I saw, just lacked the quality that I was looking for. A friend recommended that I check out the pre owned vehicles at Carter Chevrolet, Cadillac, Buick GMC. in Burnaby. I walked the whole lot, and checked out all the cars, without any hindrance. Excellent choice in quality vehicles. I found a Cadillac CTS that appealed to me. I went in, and spoke with Adi Shpack, the salesperson. Wow what a great experience. He was knowledgeable, honest and trustworthy. There was absolutely no pressure, and was well versed in the products that they sell. I had some issues unrelated to the sale. Both Adi, and the manager Grant Bohn went above and beyond. They totally did everything they could to help me. Highly recommend, and I have been buying cars for years.
