I bought an automatic transmission for $500, and was told that it had 70 000 kms on it. It does not compare to my old one that had 170 000 kms when it failed in reverse. The new one has rougher shifts, and the rpms flare between the 3rd and 4th gear which indicates that the 4th clutch is worn. All the bolt heads are rusted, and I had to use my old mainshaft, and countershaft speed sensors, since the ones on the new one were broken. 30 day replacement of defective parts...... what a joke! I dont wish to do monthly transmission re&re s as a hobby. I hope I am mistaken, but to me this transmission seems to have many more kilometer than it was claimed. Maybe I got a dud. Customer service was also quite poor. I was told they would bring the part out in 15 minutes, but it took almost 2 hours. I might give them a second chance at a later date, and amend my current review, but for now I am disappointed.

I tried to buy something from this place twice. The first time I needed a spare part was about a year ago, but the price was outrageously high, and when I tried to haggle all I got was attitude, and so I walked out. This time when I needed part I thought I would give them another try. When I called to ask about the cost, the guy on the phone quoted me a price that was exactly the same as I would have to pay for brand-new part on Amazon. Granted, their price was still about 40% cheaper than a brand-new part from a registered dealer, but it was considerably more expensive when compared to other scrapyards in the Fraser Valley. And once you start looking to scrapyards across the border these guys dont even begin to compare . Try to haggle over an old and used part like in the good old days? Forget it! My experience with them is one of attitude, arrogance and rip-off prices. Avoid like the plague!

Horrible customer service i called looking for a part the guy on the phone sounded like he hated his life and his job and took it out on me, bad attitude, arrogant, when I asked about what would happen if the part I bought was bad he said you buy it you own it, what a goof!!! Oh yeah hung up on me too lol what a joke, how does anyone run a business like that anymore? If you are reading this do not go to this place, do not support it, go to Mitchel Island beside Vancouver and Richmond there are tons of wreckers there. Thats what Im Goin to do, their loss.

Andrew at Pro Auto is as good as it gets !!!! I had a complete run around dealing with Mini Yaletown in Vancouver. Andrew was the only competent person that I could ask for advice in replacing my engine on a Mini Cooper. In the end Pro Auto went way beyond the call of duty and replaced the engine in my Mini for me. The engine price and labour cost for the job was very fair. I highly recommend dealing with this company for auto parts. Paul Slipper.

Fast, efficient and professional service. I walked in, stated what I was looking for and someone pulled the parts as soon as they were done dealing with another customer ahead of me. The price was what I expected, but the condition of the product and the service was well beyond what Ive ever experienced elsewhere. Im already planning on returning for my next recycled part purchase.

The most rude and unfriendly people Ive dealt with. Dont go there unless you ran out of options. They wanted 300 for used part which I had to remove on my own and I bought this part , brand new from save on parts for 180. They dont match or negotiate any prices and almost tell you go f**k yourself if you trying to offer anything.

i am the victim of a failed tiguan engine. i talked to Garnet and he was a huge help very knowledgeable of the engine and its defects. He got me set up with another engine with the failed parts updated. He was a huge help in lifting the stress. I highly recommend calling him if you need parts. very happy customer

I tried to buy a crankshaft pulley. Was given a price for a "used" pulley of $175.00. The dealership sales one for $250.00. Was also quoted $40.00 for steering wheel column cover. Again very close to the price for new from dealer. Needless to say I walked out. So buyer beware

all what you get from them is an attitude and make you feel that you are steeling from them and giving you a very big favour even there price just close to new and they lie about the millage. I go there when I have no other choice and they are very happy to see you back.

These guys are terrible. They put me on hold 5 times in one call before i could finish explaining the part I needed. After being told they had it, i was put on hold and another guy told me they didnt and had no idea what i was talking about. Avoid this place.
