I recently purchased a 2011 gmc denali pick-up. Im from Ontario when I called the truck was up for $29,999 I ended up paying over lost because they said they had someone in the show room. End up costing me 30,500 I dealt with the sales manger Tyler who seem to know what he was doing boy was I wrong. I sent payment for the truck and ask if they could courier the ownership to my leasing company he never did. He quote me on shipping the truck 1800 plus tax and would ship in 3-4 days to Ontario after I payed for the truck and it was to be shipped he called and said he made a mistake he meant 3-4 weeks for delivery. I told I would find my own shipper and all I needed from him was to overnight the ownership since they had been paid 3 days previous. I found my own shipper who picked the truck up and delivered it in 3 days when I called to see about the ownership he said it was in my truck. When the truck arrived they had only sent half the ownership and I asked them for the rest in Ontario u need the full Alberta ownership to change it over. Tyler then said he would get it and overnight ship it that was on Monday they finally replaced the ownership and on Wednesday advice it was shipped I could not get him to provide a tracking number it is now Friday and after haveing my truck sit for a week they provide a tracking number ownership was shipped by ground mail and will arrive in ten days when I told them can u go replace it overnight this ownership they replay with no it will get there when it gets there. This has been a nightmare from the start and I would highly recommend shopping anywhere else. Lack of communication and lack of service once they had my money they didnt care how I was treated is a customer

I had been looking at vehicles at Byron Smith Ford and now at Strathmore Ford, but I could never match the financials with the vehicle. I checked out the new Fort Escape and loved the Ford Edge. Then circumstances in our family changed and my husband began life in a wheelchair. It was difficult to lift the chair into the older model Ford Escape so I went looking for something easier. I worked with Rachel Chalmers at Strathmore Ford and the suggestion of a Lincoln MKX came out of nowhere. We took it out for a drive and it is a solid beast of a car that hangs onto the highway and feels safe no matter where you are driving. Rachel brought the car over to the house so we could try putting the wheelchair in the back - it fit perfectly without having to lift and shift it around and the deal was done! Rachel was so easy to work with, and when it came time to show me all of the extras that came with the car, she demonstrated everything or Id still be sitting there wondering what the picture of the steering wheel meant (heated steering wheel - incredibly civilized). The car is wonderful, Rachel was the best - very informed and she made the sales portion of the deal easy and quick. She followed up by phoning me several times after the sale and Ive had maintenance done through Strathmore Ford along with new all season tires going on tomorrow. They are a great bunch of people working there and I really feel that they want what is good for me. Thanks Rachel. Thanks Charlene and Thanks Gord!

After our truck breaking down for a second time driving across Canada, with the same exact problem (that a ford in northern Ontario supposedly fixed costed 1200$) strathmore ford was also not a good experience. ICBC told us we had to bring our truck to a mechanic that was approved in Calgary, and when we were told that this ford tried to charge us 260$ for looking at our truck only to find out the guy in northern Ontario missed something and thats why it broke down in the same way again. Then the insurance lady said it could stay at this ford. We got a rental truck and drove home. It took longer for them to fix then they said it would. Then we drive back there after getting the money for the deductible and they tell us we have to pay an extra 160$ for alignment. From all the problems with the truck my partner and I were completely broke so we were panicking Im we could not pay this. They did not tell us that was something that we had to pay for when we got the truck back! Then my partner is driving the truck home from Alberta and he says to me, theres still something wrong with the truck! I can feel it! So no Im not happy with this ford or any other ford. Thank you for making me completely broke and unable to buy food!

I was looking for a small SUV for my daughter and had visited numerous dealerships in Calgary and area looking at Escapes. When I called Strathmore Ford, I spoke to Rachel Chalmers. She convinced me to drive out to have a look at what they had to offer. Rachel was very friendly, helpful and professional. She followed up promptly with me to get information I requested. No pressure, no hassles. She was easy to talk to and actually listened to my questions and concerns. If you are looking for a salesperson you can feel comfortable with, Rachel is a great choice. I also dealt with Sheri Melcher to complete the sale documents. Sheri too was excellent to deal with. I ultimately purchased a used Escape. I have dealt with numerous dealerships in the past, including many Ford dealerships and this was by far the best buying experience of all of them. Overall, I would rate Strathmore Ford up there with the best. The atmosphere is personal and laid back. A warm, welcoming small-town feeling. Well worth the drive from Calgary. I have no hesitation in recommending Strathmore Ford to anyone.

My wife and I dealt with Shane, I cant begin to say how positive an experience it was to deal with this gentleman. He took the time to listen to what my wife and I needed/wanted In a vehicle, made recommendations and took us out to test a couple vehicles. The whole time we were with Shane it never felt like he was angling on a sales pitch, it felt like taking with a new friend. We shared interests, personal anecdotes from our lives and just general conversation. Once we decided on the vehicle we were taking home Shane accommodated us with every question, concern and observation, he eve helped me take the plates off our old car. Truly a positive experiences, i hate car shopping simply for the sales people and how you feel like your being stalked by jackals, however the experience my wife and I shared at Strathmore Ford was nothing of the sort. The next vehicle purchase i make will be from Shane at Strathmore Ford. Simply put I have never had a better experience when purchasing a vehicle. The people at Strathmore, particularly Shane, are a bunch of MAGNIFICENT BASTARDS!

Shout out to mehayla , We drove from brooks to strathmore ford to check out an 2008 Audi Q7, turns out the vehicle is located in Calgary (i wont mention the dealership).she drove us to calgary . and guess what the Q7 is nowhere to be found, we waited and waited for a long while, still keeping us sane and cool all through out the ordeal hehehe.,so eventually they found it in service, pulled it out and we are on our way back to Strathmore, everything goes smoothly, till a afew kilometers away, the engine temp shoots up to red, low and behold the Audi Q7 overheats and have to pull over, she told us we will be pick up, only to find out nobodys coming. we are advised to bring back the vehicle to the dealership, we drove it turn the heater up, windows down, we huff and puff , stop and drive a couple of time, and braced for a explosion hehehe, we managed to keep our cool and drove back to Strathmore Ford , we ended buying a black 2016 Ford Expedition Limited with 47k clicks., so our adventure ended and everybody Live to see another day, Adventure, Adventure, Adventure.
