Had my car towed to St Albert Midas and dealt with James. They took it in the same day despite no appointment and they were busy. It needed a complete brake job all round, the rears were leaking fluid so likely what caused the rear tire to lock up.I looked over the old parts, definitely needed doing. Price charged was fair and reasonable for the work done, far less than a dealer would charge and on par with their competitiors. Their shop rate of $120 an hour is getting pretty steep, on par with even the Lexus dealer, but the overall price was better none the less. They did a full inspection while they had the car and despite the car having over 300,000 Klms they didnt try yo SELL me anything more. All the other items passed fine, as I knew they should. I also saw how they dealt with and treated other clients while I waited to pick up my car. Straight up, honest and full disclosure even with a couple of clients who would have been easy to take. Actually told one he didnt need to spend as much as he though, could be done for far less. Nice to find an honest repair shop right off the bat, when you are new to town.

I had my truck in to get winter tires and their prices were pretty good. They had a special where as part of getting the tires I got a free winter package where they changed the oil and topped up the fluids. A few days after I got the truck home I noticed a large oil stain on my garage floor. I looked under my truck and the front skid plate was soaked in oil. I took it back in and the manager didnt give me any attitude, he got it in right away and got it cleaned up. He said that everything was alright and it was just "oil residue" on my skid plate. I know this wasn’t exactly true, what happened was the person doing the oil change didn’t take off the skid plate and so the oil poured out all over the skid plate when they were changing it and they didn’t bother to clean it up afterwards. Sloppy on the oil change, but otherwise I am satisfied (the tires are great and they got put on fast and the old ones marked for me).

Amazing service! If you are looking for quick, quality, 5 star service, these guys are it. On my drive from BC my muffler came off. I Called the St.Albert Midas and they had me in by the same afternoon. They understood my car was old and on its lasts legs and I was not wanting to put too much into it. They fixed up the needed piece plus pointed out(literally took me in the shop and showed me) my serpentine belt was cracked and could go any time(it was cracked almost all the way through). I have no doubt this would have broke on my journey home and could have caused me a lot of grief. They had the part there within 20 minutes and fixed up in no time. Thank you very much for being thorough and taking the time to explain the problems with my car and which were urgent and which were not. I will never go anywhere but Midas(wish I could use the same crew!! ).

I was quoted $1300+ by Toyota Mayfield for a new muffler, I obviously decided to go elsewhere. Found Midas the next day and they were the answer! Midas took my car in the same day! They told me it actually wasnt my muffler, it was my retonator that was the issue; making it much cheaper for repairs. They asked if they could change out my air filter as well because it was on its last leg. I was not informed my Toyota Mayfield that it needed to be changed, even though I had a full diagnostic done and they wrote down that it was fine! Midas went above and beyond, not missing what Toyota had. I was so pleased with them! They explained everything and why it needs/needed to be done. I will be definitely going back for new struts to be installed next paycheck! Great costumer service! Would recommend to anyone!

I came in to get an oil change done, everything was great until it came time to pay. My mom called to pay and said she was in the vehicle so she couldnt send them an email of her drivers license. The gentleman working there felt the NEED to start a conversation in the store with all 3 customers about how my mother shouldnt be talking on the phone while driving, how shes going to be pulled over my cops and how shes dangerously driving. She was talking in a vehicle, not while driving.. How unprofessional and arrogant. The low prices do not trump the mans attitude.Wont be returning.

Very friendly in the beginning. After I paid $45 for a quote, front desk guy told me it would cost me over $1000 to install new pads, shoes, seals. When I refused and asked to get my vehicle back, the same front desk guy told me that I was a waste of time. Let me tell you something, you were a waste of MY time and money. Will never recommend you to anyone, horrible service, very dissapointed.
