Took my truck here because it was an AVIVA preferred shop location recommended by my insurance company after my vehicle was rear ended. Repairs were done on time. When I picked up my truck it was obvious there were issues, the exhaust pipes were offset by around 3", the rear backup sensors didnt work anymore, and the bumper was misaligned. I took my truck to a dealership in St. Albert to get fixed. The district manager of Boyd contacted me about the repairs to make amends which I appreciated and was good about things, but after a negative experience the first time through I didnt want to risk things not getting fixed properly. I also found out that my insurance company told Boyd to put on non-OEM parts (e.g., bumper) on my truck without my knowledge or consent (not Boyds fault but beware of your own insurance company, you need waiver depreciation "43 endorsement" on your insurance policy in order to get OEM parts replaced on your vehicle). Lessons learned: 1. Get a few quotes from different shops and as a consumer make your own decisions about where to go and how you want it done, 2. Make sure you have a 43 endorsement on your insurance policy if you bought a new vehicle, 3. Make sure you approve what repairs are being made to your vehicle in advance (OEM/non-OEM).

Scraped the side of my door, when I got my estimate it was $2676 which is a f**king joke! Looked at the breakdown of the bill and it was 728 bucks for the repair and the rest was labor? LOL how many of their retarded mechanics does it take to change a door panel? Even worse why is it 16.5 hours of labor? lol worst autobody shop ever they MUST be a bunch of incompetent mechanics who got their licenses from a box of f**king Fruit Loops!

This is the 3rd vehicle I have taken their for body and paint. First 2 times were excellent. Went to pick up the 3 rd time and the paint had dimples and chunks in it. They said to bring back and they would try and buff out, if they could not, they would repaint hood and a rental vehicle on their tab. Got vehicle back yesterday, the whole hood is scratched plus now the edges of fenders. They wont return my call. NOT HAPPY Mr. Boyd.

Its not fun going through the aftermath of an accident. What made it easier was the compassion and respect immediately provided by the staff here. It did not feel like I was being rushed out or passed over. They even provide coffee or tea while I waited for my quote. I genuinely enjoyed my experience here and I would recommend Gillian any day to fix my vehicle!

Horrific customer experience, I referred someone there and never felt more embarrassed. Try to stay away as far as you can, I would rather drive my car all crumpled up than have to deal with them. Not even with 1 star.
