Their service for transportation works fine and dang, but they have one of the worst customer service departments I have ever encountered. They seem to only be there to answer the phone and tell you no they cant help or that you must email your city department. I am 0 for 3 on being helped by this company all the way from being locked in their car for an hour and missing a meeting as a result of it (there was no compensation except for a reimbursement of the time I was stuck in the vehicle). To having a vehicle not log out properly and continue to charge me for 45 minutes until a representative contacted me and required me to walk all the way back to sign out of the car again. Then lastly, I lost an item in one of their vehicles and there was "no possible way" for them to help me find it or contact and ask anyone who had used the car after me. They continue to increase their pricing and charges without any increase in their quality. Dont turn into a downtown parking lot on wheels where you refuse to help your patrons, but continue to accept their money with open arms.

I have been using Calgary Car2Go for over three years. I have refrained from writing a review. But tonight, after walking for twenty minutes in the freezing cold, I have reached my breaking point.Granted, it is sometimes a convenient service. The majority of the time, though, it is nothing but a headache. My main complaint is with this companys garbage Car2Go App. Unless you reserve using the App, you are unlikely to come across an unreserved Car2Go that you can rent using your member card. So you really have no choice but to use the App if you want to rent a car. Unfortunately, the App is garbage. Nine times out of ten it encounters a problem. Either it wont load the map, loads the map and lets you reserve a car that isnt really there or loads the map and doesnt know where you are. Also, Car2Go, you make enough money to update the App such that it tells you when the car youve reserved in is a parking garage. I despise this company, I despise their App and as others have remarked, their customer service is poor at best.

For the most part, I enjoy Car2Go. I like the mission, and its very affordable and convenient. But I have to say, the customer service is lacking. Although problems are always resolved eventually, it can be a slow, painful process. Most recently, I refueled during one of my trips - following the exact instructions on the app - and customer service took 9 days to respond to my refund, and then the agent spent a lot of time lecturing me about "the process." To me, its helpful to the company when customers take the time to refuel - and really, cars shouldnt be left in service when they are on empty anyway. I wish they would have just refunded me the money and said thank you. Prime territory for a competitor to sweep in with better user experience.

Very convenient for quick trips, nights out, or to head home after a run. (Also great while travelling!) Ive only had to deal with customer service a couple of times, but unlike some previous reviewers experiences, anyone I dealt with was extremely nice and bent over backwards to help resolve issues. I tell everyone I know to get a membership, just in case! (And to the person complaining about tax dollars subsidizing the parking - car2go pays the city for the parking, which is part of the per minute cost. So...tax dollars not really coming into play, there...)

Amazingly, Uber is actually cheaper to use than Car2Go, and you get a better car and a driver. This is particularly true if you want to take a Car2Go out of the prescribed area--you cant log out of your trip and end up having to pay for the time that the car sits there waiting for you to finish your appointment or whatever to drive back to the prescribed area. On top of all that, with Car2Go you have to walk to wherever an available car is, whereas the Uber driver will come right to you. And yet, Uber is noticeably cheaper for comparable trips.

In a city seemingly unable to figure uber out, car2go has done everything right. I take a car2go multiple times a week, and have grown to quite enjoy the service. Customer service has always been quick to respond to problems or concerns, and have been great at finding remedies for problems. They could do a better job redistributing cars during rush hour (its almost impossible to find a car downtown after 4), but otherwise its been a great service. Selecting Calgary as a pilot city for the 4 door car trial was a nice touch as well.

The company kept locking my account saying there was a payment error. I had to continuously contact them and get it unlocked and it would work fine for a week or so and then theyd lock me again. Now they wont reply to any of the 3 emails Ive sent asking to have my account unlocked and the payment issue looked into. I was a very regular user but now Ill spend my money with uber and advise my friends and customers at work to do the same.

Very poor operators. In fact, they leave their cars all over the place, including but not limited to private parking lots causing headaches for the average person. Yes, I am not a fan. And why are my tax dollars subsidizing these folks?? As for calling them? Dont bother. The phone service is poor at the best of times. Gotta go now and tow an illegally parked car 2 go that has been here over 12 hours. Nice

In a word, UNRELIABLE. If you book a car on the app it may or may not be there. If its there, it may or may not connect and start your rental. Often have no washer fluid. Dont bother complaining, 2 or 3 days later they respond with a generic answer. If they give you a small credit its only good for a short time. Once again today (Calgary) I was relying on it to get me to work on time today and it let me down

I have had good experiences with this service. I also have had to call customer service and they were great! The only thing that makes me nervous is knowing where to park in this city. For instance everywhere in Kensington has a 2 hour limit... and they say that youre on the hook if you park in the wrong spot. Anyhow, maybe Im not understanding that they special leeway for such areas.

Cant make everyone happy - people love to complain. Greatest invention ever, gets me to work on time all the time. If the app doesnt work try a new phone! Other then the 1.05 service fee we are so grateful to have these in Calgary as this way I dont see Canada Goose cruel fur jackets on Calgary Transit. Cheers Yahoo! Gotta go my Car2Go awaits!!

Terrible service useless systems.They have a valid credit card on file and they cant get an outstanding charge cleared for $5.25 in spite of multiple phone calls. This has taken 2 months and I still cant use the service. Waste of time. This is supposed to be a world-class company. Bunch of amateurs.
