This shop and its owner are the definition of a shady mechanic. Took a vehicle in for a simple repair (engine fan clutch stopped working). Nick repaired it and we the left with a $1900 bill. Drove for a bit and the engine blew up. Took it back and Nick the owner said it wasnt his fault. Gave an excuse as to why the problem happened didnt warranty his previous work and charged us another $700 for the repair. Drove it a bit and the engine blew up again! This time he gave a new excuse as to why this is happening. Covered the cost of the repair himself this time but still didnt admit fault or consider it a warranty repair for his previous work. Drove the vehicle for a bit and the engine blew again!! This time we took the vehicle to the dealer because it was clear Nick had no idea what he was doing. $5000 later...the dealer diagnosed/fixed the problem and told us that there was a missing part that was never installed by Nick thus causing it to blow. When we talked to Nick about this, instead of owning up to his mistake he simply gave us his lawyers card! Now we are in the process of taking him to court. Southwood automotive is run by a crook who doesnt know how to fix a simple problem let alone the horrible treatment of his customers. Im telling everyone I know to stay the hell away from this shop. People like this shouldnt be in business.

Great staff, helpful and honest people. I take both of my vehicles here and I am always satisfied with the results. If they find something wrong with your vehicle in addition to the reason you bring it there, they will not work on it, they actually talk to you about it, let you know what the issue is and let you decide when and if you want to address the issue. You guys are all fantastic!!!

it was very easy to get an insurance inspection done. that much was good. After waiting over 2 weeks and being promisied a quote the next day several times I still dont have one. so I literally have too take it somewhere else simply becauee their service rep refuses to do a simple thing like put a quote together
