I was referred here by a couple of co-workers who lived in the area and they recommended Silver springs auto. I phoned Steve on Monday and was able to accomdate me Tuesday at 230pm the next day What happened to my vehicle was it pulled to the left on the highway and speeds up to 80km. I was initially thinking Wheel/steering alignment. Called Subaru Calgary and they wanted me to drop off my vehicle when they opened. I work full time and cannot afford to leave my vehicle ALL DAY. On top of that I live in Royal Oak far NW. So what was nice was silver springs was able to take me in towards the end of my shift. Perfect They found out one of my rims was bent and instead of doing a wheel alignment like what I asked them for they went and found the root of the cause. They found the bent rim, rebalanced and performed a wheel alignment. Perfect. I was in there for no more than 1.5 hours. Quick and so far no issues. $120 for wheel alightment $50 rebalance my wheels. Would 100% go back to these guys again. A+

I got a nail and a piece of wire in the same tire within the same two weeks. The first time I brought it in, I was charged $25 which is reasonable for a tire patch. I thought maybe it wasnt fixed right as a couple of weeks later it was leaking again! The second time they patched it for free and gave me the wire they found in it. I started taking a different route to work to avoid construction! Ive had some of the worst experiences with being taken by dealerships before, so am always leary about taking my vehicle anywhere. I was pleasantly surprised and did not feel taken. It was just a small problem, but I would go back. They deal with all of my cousins landscaping trucks as well and he feels that they are honest.

**Tons of integrity** Two years in a row I have sought to put new tires on my wifes car in advance of winter road conditions. In both instances I was informed that the tires and tread were still in great condition or at least very good condition… And there was no need for them to be changed. What incredible honesty, when a shop in this industry could easily have said yes no problem we will change them… even though it was not necessary! And charged min $500 to do so. I regard Steve and Silversprings automotive as a very trustworthy place. Honest - yes. And in other instances weve had actual work done there and Ive felt very well treated as well.

Friendly and trustworthy service. Ive used Silver Springs Automotive for several years, from oil changes to brake work, and never felt I was being taken advantage of. Occasionally they even take a look at something small (like changing a bulb I cant figure out how to access) right out in the parking lot and dont charge me. The one fault that baffles me (and the reason I only gave four stars) is they charge $80 to replace my cabin air filter, which is a 2-minute toolless job and a $20 part. Thats some pretty steep markup! But on all other jobs I have compared their prices and recommendations to other mechanics and find them very reasonable.

We have had excellent service from Silver Springs Automotive. They repeatedly have saved us money. On multiple occasions they have suggested that there was no need to perform some maintenance. In contrast with dealerships and other independent shops over servicing suggesting that we should to do all this extra work. Their rates are also a bit more reasonable when compared to other shops. I would also add that in more than half my interactions I just showed up with a broken vehicle and they fixed it by the end of the day. In all cases the cost came in as quoted or a bit below.

This place needs shut down,took my envoy in there with an engine light on,he said it was o rings that where worn around the fuel injectors and that the throttle body was broken,the throttle body was fine when I took it in,after checking it myself they had cut the clip that holds the electrical part into the throttle body making it not work and trying to charge me for a new 1,got the vehicle home,drove it the next day and the issue returned,this place should be shut down,the guy is a scam artist and con man.

Ive been there only once for an oil change. They did fine job and charged me $60 which is above the average for an oil check ( right now it goes between $40 to $50 at most place but you could find it cheaper). With the oil check they did a quick inspection and made a report telling me some of the problems I have with my car. They also provided me with a quote of how much would it cost to fix the problems. Generally great service, however their current price is $135/hr, this is above the market price.

Rip -off. They replaced a brand new muffler and did NOT fix the item that was leaking sound and exhaust. When I confronted them I just got flack and argument and horrible attitude. I dont have time in my life to fight such things so I just walked away. Also, I have elderly friends that take their cars there and they only drive 3000 kms per year yet they end up with repair bills totaling thousands. Friendly "good neighbor" appearance, seasoned scam artists. Stay away.

These folks have worked on several of my vehicles over the years, and I always feel like they are doing a great job, good service and an honest appraisal of the problems with my vehicles. Although the shop rates are fairly high (my aircraft hourly maintenance charges are lower) I feel that they are still lower than many competitors, especially the larger automotive shops. Overall, great place to take your vehicles.

Great people. My family has being going there for over 15 years. They treat us right and fix the problems, and give us options for preventative maintenance. They have even helped in tight time lines. Couldnt ask for better community people and service.

Staff is amazing and trustworthy and went out of their way to help me when I was in a bind pro bono. Only downside is theyre not open on weekends so prepare to schedule weekday appointment.
