After recently bringing in an SUV for repair to a dent with scuffs/scrapes on a door and a crack in the front bumper cover, I highly recommend Renu Auto Appearance for auto restoration. Here is a little about my experience: The situation: I had a minor collision during the winter that resulted in a decent crack in the front bumper cover (no damage to the bumper itself). The paint surrounding the crack was starting to chip and crack. Unfortunately, the other party (at fault) left the scene before I noticed the damage to my vehicle. I tried to patch the crack myself but it did not work. Several weeks later, I loaned my vehicle to a driver who accidently scratched/scuffed/dented the rear right passenger door against a concrete pillar while parking in an underground parking lot. After the door was damaged, I brought my SUV to two body shops for estimates. Body shop #1 quoted $3,300 in repairs, they wanted my vehicle for a week-and-a-half, and the earliest appointment was two months away. Body shop #2 quoted $2,600 in repairs, they wanted my vehicle for a week, and the earliest appointment was a month away. Both body shops asked me to enter into an agreement on the spot. I called a third body shop in Calgary and they suggested Renu Auto Appearance. At Renu, I received a no pressure estimate without having to wait or make an appointment, the staff took the time to explain how the work would be completed, and I was able to book an appointment for repair within a week. Renu asked for The outcome: For just over $900, Renu completed the work on time within two days, was able to repair the damage, and made my car look like new without having to replace any parts! Added bonus, the staff touched up rock chips on the hood for free and washed my SUV just before pick-up. The staff at Renu did a great job at renewing and repairing my vehicle. Other body shops do not have the skill to work with metal and plastic like they do at Renu – lower cost and better for the environment. Highly recommended!

I accidentally brushed my car up against a pillar and scrapped the paint on the rear passenger door pretty badly. I looked into repair options and the body shop option would cost me thousands of dollars. Thats when I found Renu through Google. They were offering what seemed like a comparable service for a fraction of the price. Based on the other positive reviews here, I gave them a try. I was incredibly pleased with their work. The car door looks good as new! The price they quoted me is the price I ended up paying and everyone I spoke with was exceptionally friendly and professional. About the only "complaint" I can give is that they were booking more than a month out. But thats because they are so busy which suggests they must be doing something right. Judging by the quality of the work done to my car, Id say it was worth the wait! Highly recommended.

Hyatt auto in Calgary had my Saab repaired here prior to finalising the purchase (a small ding in the right front fender). Repair was fine for around 2 or 3 months. Found that the clear coat had a cracked appearance all over the fender and looked terrible. I spoke with the dealer we purchased the Saab from and they tried to get some sort of good faith monetary refund from Chippy as we had moved out of province. After weeks of speaking to the dealer I gave up and had the fender profesionally repaired (which required a bare metal respray) myself. Chippy fobbed off the dealer and myself and would not just come to the table with some sort of solution. Avoid these guys at all cost. They DO NOT stand by their work.

Called Renu about an estimate for fixing a smallish rust spot on my five year old vehicle. They asked questions over the phone that led to suggestion that the rust spot was likely related to an improperly completed auto body repair from a few years prior. Renu was willing to help fix or slow the degradation, but recommended going back to the previous service provider to see if it would be covered by warranty. I did, and it is. I never would have connected the two events if not for the advice. The conversation saved me a considerable amount of money and I appreciated the sound advice instead of just telling me to bring the car in. I will not hesitate to use or recommend Renu in future.

Allen Hayward took time to go through all the options for repair of our vehicle which helped us to feel trusting in their skill & expertise of the work to be done. Even though we ended up having to wait longer than anticipated, to get our vehicle in for repair; his price estimate & time allotment were right on target which was refreshing not to have surprise costs or delays once it was in the shop being repaired. We felt most comfortable entrusting our needed repairs to Allen & his team at Renu Auto Appearance. Truly a very refreshing experience that there are still folks out there who take pride in doing their best work, with integrity to their word and quality.

The paint pen that the dealership gave us with our new car didnt match (it was darker) so there were several obvious dots all over the car (thanks, rock chips). The dealership and the car manufacturer refused to do anything. A year ago, I took our car to Renu; you cant even tell where the spots were they did such a good job. Since then, Ive brought our car to Renu for a few things - 3M, paint scratches, etc - and every time, theyve done an excellent job, on the day they said, in the time frame they said, and for the price quoted. To top it off, all of the staff have been friendly and approachable. Renu is a gem.

My wife found this place on the internet and it had amazing reviews as you can see. She got me a gift certificate for my birthday that involves painting rock chips and power polishing the truck. My truck sees mainly gravel roads involved in the oilfield. I was skeptical at first considering my truck had a substantial amount or rock chips and scratches. I can honestly say that Renu has surpassed my expectations and I will gladly pass on a good word about them. That being said, I had seen the amount that she paid for this job to be done and I think it was very reasonable.

Just picked up my suv and it looks amazing! I recently bought this suv used and it had a dent and scrape above the back wheel when I bought it. Renu has it looking new. The guys did an amazing job of blending the paint. You can not even tell there was ever an issue there. The price they quoted me was less than half of what the regular auto body shops wanted. Renus price also included touching up those annoying little door dings and rock chip touch up. I have my husband and my father booked in for their cars. Im bringing my moms car in next. I highly recommend Renu!

Allen was quick to help and provided an honest assessment, he kept me in the loop when the car was being worked on.
