The guys that work there are friendly and professional, and Im sure theyre absolutely outstanding as a tire shop, but DO NOT go there for any kind of mechanical repair. I brought my truck there with a damaged intake manifold (which they fixed), but after they had completed the repair, my truck was running like complete garbage afterwords. They were nice enough to take it apart again free of charge to make sure it wasnt something related to the gaskets or the manifold itself, but to no avail. It was likely something electrical related, and they didnt want to diagnose it beyond what they had done. I understand that theyre trying to run a business, but its always kinda sad when your vehicle is behaving a lot worse leaving the shop than it was before it came into the shop. With that said, They were fair in the sense that they heavily discounted the repair as a result, but its still annoying coming back to a vehicle that now has problems that were never there before. And Im Still trying to pinpoint the issues. Like I said, great guys who go above and beyond when it comes to tires and wheels, but they lack a bit on the mechanical side of things unfortunately.

We are known to do this time and time again as you may notice our shop is always busy with our great customer friends. A note to all the uneducated people (about the business) that post reviews with very limited information. I understand you may have concerns about us but we try our best to educate the clients on their purchases. If you need more clarification or information please contact us, we would love to help. Unfortunately, clients are very quick to judge and write reviews without at least inquiring back to the business. I really wish google would not use incentives for people to write so many reviews to earn rewards. Many of the negative reviews out there either our business or other companies come from professional reviewers. Please if you have any concerns with the shop come talk to us. One of the worst places to take your vehicle yes they are friendly enough to take your money but are not knowledgeable about mechanics They told me and replaced a thermostat in my vehicle even though I had plenty of heat and AC. They did this because the engine light was on but after they replaced the thermostat the light was still on. They in turn told me that it was the PC well I now know that my truck wouldnt even run with that gone They told me that it was too expensive to repair and to drive it tell it stopped So I took it to another garage to find that there was a broken wire which is now fixed and the light is now off They did a minor tune up and my truck would always stall, well I found out that the exhaust hoses were not reconnected but were jammed under the filter and screwed down This is only some of the complaints I wouldnt recommend them to anyone Im also getting on contact with BEtter Business Beaurea These people should be shut down They do not deserve any stars

Lost my hubcap - not good, but would not have been so bad if they 1) had not suggested that it may be at the shop and that I should come see it 2) when I got there the man there was EXTREMELY CONDESCENDING 3) He told me that sometimes they just fall off and then went out to prove that it is easy to take off or fall off - but he didnt get it off right away, and lo and behold its still on my car 4) they had not wasted my time 5) they had taken responsibility for losing the hubcap when they are truly responsible for not putting it on correctly. Hiding behind a catch all policy that is supposedly somewhere in the shop but NOT on the form is shameful. Previously I was unsure, as the person answering the phone was condescending (was it sexist I am not sure) and they were pushy about selling stuff. I would not suggest this shop!!

Two stars for doing fine oil changes, but lacking three for the tall tales they tell. The manager of this shop tells people that the tires they sell are real, as opposed to the same tires sold at larger box type stores. This shop quoted me $333 per tires installed for my SUV. Upon thoroughly researching the subject online, and even calling OK tires head office, it was confirmed to me that any brand tire, so long as it is the same model, is the same everywhere you go. The large box stores DO NOT have tires of lesser (same brand & model) quality made for them - it is simply untrue. OK tires head office concurs with me on this. Anyway, I had four new tires installed and balanced elsewhere for under $600, whereas this shop wanted over $1300 for the same. Sell service, not folk tales folks!

FAIL - Took my 2010 Venza there to get the winter tires changed over to summer ones - they forgot to put the lugnuts back on and my wheel came off as I left their driveway! Considering this is their core business it is a fairly major mistake. Worked out to several thousand dollars worth of damage (which to be fair, they did take responsibility for, and their insurance company paid out - but it was a bit hassle I didnt want/need). I also had another issue where I took another vehicle in and they put one of the tires on so that the tread was facing the wrong direction. I am a pretty patient person, but I cannot in good faith take another vehicle back their. Hope you have better luck than I did!

I cant speak highly enough of Manny, Kyle and the others at OK Tire on Northmount Drive. They fully inspected my car, replaced the bulbs over my licence plate and Manny spent over 45 mins (on the phone and in person) explaining the issues to me and advising me that they thought I should contact AMVIC due to the circumstances and that they would back me up. They were beyond kind, patient and informative.Not only that, they outright refused any payment for their time or parts. They have not only restored my faith that there are still honest mechanics in the world but also genuinely decent people. I truly cant speak highly enough of them, nor of how much their consideration has meant to me

Ive had many bad experiences with many mechanical shops but then Ive came across this specific shop and have had nothing but excellent service and quality! Any issues I have came across with any of my vehicles Ive brought it here. Kyle and Manny have taken care of my car issues professionally at a very reasonable price . With every visit you can see that everyone at this shop takes great pride and effort to get what you need done. I have been going to this shop for a couple years and will continue to do so! Would highly recommend to anyone, garanteed youll be more than satisfied with them! :) Thanks everyone at OK Tire Northmount you guys are awesome!
