WORST FORD Dealership that Ive ever dealt with. It took them 33,000kms to figure out that the rear suspension on our 2016 FX4 Larriat was incorrectly installed from the factory. (They up-sold us on a new rear sway bar and airbags, which made the ride worst.) After finally changing out the rear suspension for the correct one, it slightly rides better. As it bottoms out, bangs and jars your body. Everyone complains about the terrible ride in this truck. My friends tease me- on why would I continue to drive this "rolling wreck" The dealership refuses to fix the leaky airbags they sold us and installed. Plus my mirror was hang from the windshield when I picked it up for the non repairs on my airbags... the service manager refused to fix the "leaky" airbags, plus refused to fix my broken mirror. I drove the truck down the street to Cystal Glass and paid the $100s to reglue my mirror back on. NOW the driver seat bracket welds have broken & failed. This is a major safety concern, putting our lives at risk.... I just dropped it off at the dealership this morning with only 36,000 kms. Fingers crossed that they actually fix it under their "Selective Warranty", Signed; one beyond dissatisfied customer!

I had a great experience with Mark Gervais at the Northstar Ford Cochrane. Mark is a younger sales consultant and he always did everything he could the find answers to all my questions and concerns when I purchased my 2016 F-150. The thing I appreciated the most was the communication process. Mark was always reachable very quickly either via the good old land line or even better via text messages. In this world where everything is needed for yesterday this was simply fantastic… Now a days you can do your own research online and find answers to pretty much anything you want to know about the vehicle you are about to purchase. For that reason a sales consultant has somewhat changed a little bit and in my opinion and as an informed consumer, heres what expect from a sale consultant. Available, respectful and most important, honest (i.e.: No hidden or added cost later on, no one likes that). Mark you nailed all of those points and I will come back to see YOU next time I require a new vehicle. Cheers, Eric

We brought in our Ford F150 for routine work in August, 2014 to Cochrane Northstar Ford. Before even leaving the lot we noted scuff damage to the rear bumper., and that the backing to our after market remote/starter attached to the key ring was also missing, as well battery, and license plate light was charged for, yet not working. Shirley, the Customer Service Rep, stated that she could not see how their people could be responsible, and that the Manager, Amanda had just left. The manager, Amanda, when called the next day, refused to consider our concerns, stating that "our tech guys would never loose the stuff or cause any damages, ever." She was disinterested and verbal hostility, We had assumed professional warmth and concern! Receiving none, we took the alarming matter in writing to Ford Canada, who forwarded it again to the manager of Cochrane Northstar Ford, who has still not acknowledged or contact us, now six months after the incident.

First let me preface this review with a simple fact. Im a Honda man. Full stop, without question. That said, our overall experience at NorthStar Ford (Cochrane) was amazing. Together with my spouse, we wanted a fuel efficient, CUV that would be fun to drive, have some creature comforts and be affordable. We walked in and were met by Brian. By far my most enjoyable experience ever with a car salesman. Friendly, outgoing, personable, knowledgeable and never once tried to push any different package. Needless to say, between Brian in sales and Jodi in finance, this was our first new car together and it wont be our last; certainly not from NorthStar Ford. Service was exceptional, we would HIGHLY recommend Brian and his colleagues at NorthStar Ford. We bought our new 2014 Ford Escape SE just over 2 weeks ago... we will return again!

The most outrageous prices. Their diesel oil change starts at $219, diesel fuel filter change is $269. Absolutely a complete rip off, elsewhere for the combination is around $300-$350, not over $500. On top of that they schedule you in but ask you to drop off your vehicle for the day, both of my vehicles were recently done and I had to leave them for then entire day and they werent ready until ten minutes before close. This service is something like Ive never seen before. I will pay for quality, but there is none here. I will drive all the way to brooks or red deer to get a reasonably priced oil change and STILL be cheaper including the cost of fuel!!! I refuse to have my vehicle services here ever again. I have nothing good to say about this business.

Excellent Service! Big thanks to everyone in the service department. Had some pretty big repairs that were discovered recently and needed my truck for a ten day camping trip. Not only did they get my truck scheduled in early (at short notice), they completed the repairs a day early! I can get away for a worry free trip on time tomorrow!! Thanks Kristen for the great advice in recommending the full inspection before my warranty expired, you have quite literally saved me thousands of dollars! From the booking in with Kristen and the other chaps, the lady on reception, to the collection of my truck, the service and friendliness here has always been very professional and polite! Thank You!

Im upset and speechless...about year ago I did have different experience - today I did bring my car for pre-paid service and I did state my extra concerns (qualifying under warranty)....: - "no- we cannot do this - we need a whole day for this (@#$!)"- no option was offered to me - NOTHING! (no additional appointment, no shuttle, no car replacement etc.) - "If we follow yours suggestion and they wrong - we charge you, no - we not going to checking for software update on your vehicle.... " #@$! Why are you there?????! Update: Thank you Mike for professional approach - today NorthStar Ford did everything - as asked! For this reason I did "upgraded" my opinion to "4" Stars!

After hearing good things about NorthStar Ford Cochrane, we decided to reach out to discuss purchasing an F-150 XLT for our business. Anthony Fennell was a pleasure to deal with. He was patient as we evaluated our different alternatives, and I never felt pressured at any point in the process. Further, Anthony helped us source a vehicle that meshed well with our business requirements while working within our capital spending budget. I would certainly recommend a trip out to Cochrane (were based in Calgary) to work with Anthony and the team at NorthStar Ford Cochrane.

Outstanding service!!! On a 42 day RV round trip from home in Tallahassee, FL experienced a "trailer brake module fault" while towing. Made an appt with Northstar. Got to Cochrane the night before and unable to extend visit at RV park. Explained our dilemma to service advisor. She snapped to, found the part in Calgary, had it in hand and installed in a few hours meanwhile providing me regular updates. I only wish our Ford dealer at home would react in this friendly, efficient and capable manner. All this for a tourist. Mega kudos to Northstar Cochrane service dept!!

I had a nasty experience there. I brought my car for the appraisal which Chris, a sales manager asked for the day before. I showed up there 20 minutes ago and waited for him. He showed up around appointment time at the lounge and talked with a walk-in customer . He then disappeared with that customer. A receptionist let him know I was waiting. The receptionist guided me another salesman who was consulting someone else. This is not a professional manner to customers who share their time to do business, especially for those in managerial positions.
