Need an honest mechanic at a great repair shop? Johns your Man and Kensington AutoPro is the place to go! John has a tremendous amount of automotive knowledge and expertise such that without exception hes been able to quickly and efficiently get to the bottom of every concern that Ive ever brought to his attention (Several of which, when I first starting taking our vehicles to Kensington AutoPro, had previously stumped those at other shops and for which I had paid those other shops hundreds of dollars for ineffective diagnostics). He never loses sight the big picture and as such always suggests the most effective and pragmatic solution even if it isnt the most conventional or requires going above and beyond what the average repair shop would be prepared to do. However, what truly sets John from the rest is that he always puts himself in his clients shoes to ensure that the service his shop has provided is fair and equitable from the customers perspective even when doing so results in him not being appropriately compensated for the time and effort that his shop has had to invest in the repair. Zach, Brandi and the rest of the Kensington AutoPro team are awesome too! Upon entering the shop you are always greeted with a smile and the service is always friendly and helpful no matter who is at the front counter. Scheduling of appointments is super flexible and they even manage to find time for those emergency repairs that crop up at the most inconvenient of times! Any proposed work is always clearly explained to the customer in advance and all work performed is always fully explained and documented afterwards. Having been spoiled by the privilege of having Kensington AutoPro service our cars for the past 3 years, I wouldnt consider taking them anywhere else for any price or promotion. Simply put, John is just an all around great guy who runs one heck of an amazing automotive repair shop in Kensington AutoPro!

Caught the main mechanic John trying to upsell me on transmission fluid swap on two seperate occasions, claiming it was brown and needed replacement. Funny thing is, he personally replaced less than six months prior to this and checking the fluid myself showed it was in great condition. In addition to this, when he returned my car it had a 5 foot scratch down the passenger side door. He claimed he didnt know how it got there and refused to pay for it. It was in his care, I expect it returned in the same condition. After discussing it at length, he refused to even share the cost. To top it all off, he consistently forgets to sync my tire pressure monitors whenever I get my winter tires put on. This requires me to schedule another appointment, at his convenience, and drop it off for up to an hour. No priority service due to their mistake. Please find another mechanic to do your work and do not make the same mistake that I did. John does not stand by his customers and will try to scape goat away from responsibility.

The service is fast, friendly and honest. Came for an oil change and sevice. Was done fast and without extra suggestions and upsells on what else can be done. The mechanic was friendly and walked me through the report on inspection explaining what was done, the sate of the car, etc. As a women, I appreciate being spoken to in a friendly and simple manner about the technical details of my car. So often mechanincs feel free to talk down at me as if I am never gonna get it anyway, or charge me extra because I dont know any better. Not at this shop. He earned my respect and trust.

Truly amazing service. John and Zach were incredibly helpful and understanding. They were able to get my car up and ready to be registered the same day I called to ask if they could fit me in. They both stayed late to help me out so I could get it done in one day since Im actually from Edmonton, but my car was stranded there in Calgary for the previous week. If I lived in Calgary, these guys would be my GO-TO mechanics. Cant say enough positive things about these guys and the experience I had.

I called in here on short notice but they were still able to give me a spot, they checked the car and made sure to get my authorisation on all work BEFORE doing anything which was great. They listened to my concerns and examined the exact components I took issue with. After replacing the faulty components I had mentioned they gave a full inspection report and charged a fair rate for their work. Overall a good experience and Id recommend them to anyone looking for a good honest mechanic shop.

Ive been taking both of my company pool trucks for routine servicing at Kensington AutoPro for 1.5 years now and John always does a great job of explaining what work was done, and what needs to be done next time. Hes always very accommodating of my schedule, too. Also, John saved my life today when I needed TWO emergency tire repairs on my personal vehicle, and he was great enough to do it over his lunch hour. Very highly recommended. Thank you, John!

Ive been bringing my plumbing van here for about a year now and they have been great. I have a small and honestly slow plumbing business so Im on a tight on budget. They have been really good at giving me a list of must doos and do in the future type maintenance items on my 300,000+ Ford work van. It runs and is safe on the roads for my self and other road users. So Id like to say thanks for providing honest reliable service!

I brought a vehicle from Newfoundland, needed an out of province inspection and some repairs, time was a real issue for me. I was leaving the vehicle for my son. Carlos and his staff were great.
