So I had a bit of an experience with Mopac. I needed a fairly rare part for my truck, and I had it ordered from one of their competitors, with an ETA of 3-5 weeks. Obviously thats a long time to wait, so I went to Mopac and they told me 10 days, SOLD. I cancelled the other order, and placed one there. After monday (supposed pick-up day) comes around with no phone call, I call to check up on them, "oh yeah, probably tomorrow or the next day." No big deal, whats one or two extra days? So wednesday comes around, and still no call. Another check-up call, "oh no you wont see that for another 2 weeks at least." ..... uuuuuhhhhh what? So I went down to have a word with them the next day, and thats where one of them (Ray) finally called the factory, and found out that I MIGHT be able to get the part by march... 3 months. I was past the point of frustration, when Ray came and spoke to me. He sincerely apologized for the ordeal, and admitted that there needs to be better communication. Overall, after dealing with Ray, I give them 4 stars. Call ahead for Ray, hes by far the best one to deal with, very knowledgable and no BS.

I should have taken the advice from the reviews above more seriously before buying from this store. I bought a boost gauge which was sticky out of the box so I tried to return it the following week. Prior to going at the store I phoned them up to make sure it was okay and the guy I spoke to confirmed the item could be exchanged as long as the gauge had no visible damage done to it. The next day when I showed up at the store another gentlemen helped me at the desk started doing the paperwork when older man behind the counter overheard what went on and basically yelled that I couldnt get an exchange item unless it was approved by the store manager. I asked him where this condition was written up on the invoice (to my knowledge it stated credit only 15 days) and why the rules had changed since I previously spoke to the other employee, then he stated those were simply the rules. What a joke, Ive never seen such a bad service like this before. I will never be back there again even though their product selection is good.

They have a good selection of parts. However, Management needs to wake up and realize that they need to have better service if they dont want people to save money and just order online! My pet peeves about Mopac. -No price tags on anything. This is annoying. You have to ask for the price of everything. -Crappy return policy. -Staff are not very helpful. -Prices are pretty high. -Parking SUCKS. They have the potential to be great, but they are instead mediocre. I rarerly go here anymore due to the reasons listed. Its cheaper and more convenient to just order online unless you need it NOW.

Love the products and that you can pretty much get anything you need there but the guys working behind the counter are probably the most brain dead people I have met. Not only did they trash my project car saying it was a waste of time but they also had no clue as to what parts I even asked for. To make it all the better when it came time to pay I stood at an empty counter for 15 minutes while the teller cashed out a different register and kept reassuring me that he would "just be one minute" CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS!!! And its a pain not having price tages on anything as well.

Parking isnt ideal but the impressive know-how and amazing prices make it worth it. No fluff or sales pitch, just the parts you want. This is a stroe for true car guys that mostly know what they want/need. I havent found a cheaper and better places to buy parts in southern Alberta, they are the best. Prices are usually cheaper than Summit Racing with shipping. A lot of the same staff has been there since I started going there 15 years ago. Its the only place I buy performance parts. Was given a Flowmaster muffler that was purchased here for a gift but it was a center in center out and I needed an offset in center out. The box was completely unopened but I didnt have a receipt cause it was a gift. I went in and asked if I could swap it since they were the same price and the crusty old fart at the till just said "no receipt no can do" and proceeded to walk away. I had to call their head office to arrange for an exchange because no one at this location would assist me. Ill be taking my business elsewhere from now on

Ive used MOPAC on and off for 30 yrs. I have not had any trouble. I called they answered found the carbkit I needed. It was about $10 more than everywhere else but they had it with no waiting so I could rebuild over the weekend. When I went to pick it up they were friendly. I asked if they knew anywhere in the NW I could get some solvent and they suggested a couple places nearby. Then they said hang on, went in the back and gave a slighly used 3/4 full quart of Solvent no charge.

I called and talked to someone on phone about purchasing a part. Returns no problem. Bought a forty degree intake hose but needed straight one. No mention of return policy. Went to return and they wouldnt give me money back for price difference. Store policy the guy says. It was three days. Original packaging in good condition. Would only give gift card. Was took it was my fault for not knowing their return policy. If I could give a lower rating I would.

As many other of the reviews suggest, these folks are not consumer friendly! I tried to exchange a part they gave me for the right part without thee receipt. It was their mistake but they refused to even consider and exchange . Obviously not having a receipt can pose some issues but other business will make an effort. Im out a $100 but they wont see me again. Hopefully others will reconsider this type of service...

Good selection and prices. I really dont like the no refund policy, it makes me very leary of buying high price items there. Normally for bigger ticket items Ill go elsewhere that has a better return policy. The lack of parking is very annoying, I notice often its the same cars in the lot meaning the employees are filling up the already tiny space.

Ive used them a few times now, and found their pricing to be as cheap as on line. The difference is that they have it immediately, so you dont have to wait. When you do have to order something in, its usually within a week or 2 away - which would be the same if you went onto Ebay or something like that. Keep up the good work!

Mopac auto was absolutely amazing! I went to the one in Calgary! The staff was extremely friendly ensuring that I got what I wanted and even made suggestion to go with different part! All in all after calling around about the parts I wanted they had the best pricing by far! I saved $275.00 bucks by going with them.
