The mechanics there seem decent and were pleasant to talk to with the exception of Jay, who works out front. It looked like I was going to have to leave my truck there over the weekend (because they arent open on weekends) so when I called to ask if it would be covered for anything damage related while parked outside of their shop I was told "theres about 6 signs outside that say we dont accept responsibility for problems that occur in our lot." His tone was a little demeaning, but fair enough. They arent the only ones with signage of that nature and who follow the same procedure. I couldnt leave work in the middle of a Friday afternoon so I called back and asked if it could be parked in the shop over the weekend (again, because they arent open on weekends) to be safe because they are on a very busy intersection (one of the mechanics told me that there are problems with ppl breaking into vehicles there because they are very close to a bottle depot, quote unquote) and Jay told me that " there were about 6 cars in there and he couldnt promise anything". Same demeaning tone, but again, fair enough. I ended up racing down there and met with Jay face to face to pay the bill and pick up the list of things that were wrong with my truck and he wouldnt speak to me. Like, at ALL, except to announce the price and tell me where to sign. Then while I was reading said list before signing he asked someone to " cash this guy out while I deal with buddy" and proceeded to ditch me to sell a used vehicle to someone outside. Now Im not a prude by any stretch of the imagination but I also work in customer service and I like to be treated how I treat my own clients, respectfully and not as an inconvenience. I also make sure Ive spent enough time with them before literally chasing after another customers money. The fellow who "cashed me out" was super pleasant and very nice to talk with, but I couldnt shake how frustrated I felt after all my dealings with Jay. One spoiled apple plus lack of security means I probably wont be back.

NOT RECOMMENDED!!!! I decided to choose this service based on google reviews and it showed as a bad idea. Maybe services are great if you need only "basic" staff to be done but I needed OUT OF PROVINCE INSPECTION (and oil change). Everybody knows that OOP is pain in the ass and I expected something will have to be done on my car but what I didnt expect was the estimated price. Its maybe pointless fact that we bought our car a year ago and we didnt have any troubles and I thought the car is in better shape - no rust, no warning lights on etc. - more than 80% cars I meet around Calgary everyday but OOP is different. Car is 2004 we paid $3300 and when they called me after inspection they said the estimated price for work and parts is $3900 - how ridiculous!!! When I got there it was recommended to me to sell my car for parts coz its basically junk :-D. I took my keys and my car and I visited 3 other services that day and according the list what has to be done I got totally different prices and everybody was laughing about the price 3900. 1st service - estimated price for everything $1600 labor included 2nd service - $1450 3rd service - they did it for $1250 3900 - 1250 = 2650... does it mean they wanted $2650 profit??? Another chapter is oil change My invoice says: change motor oil and replaced filter....TOP UP ALL FLUID LEVELS. When I was checking everything 2 days after I found that windshield washer fluid was almost empty - wasnt topped up (i didnt use it at all after "filling") and another fluid wasnt - power steering fluid!!! I have a photo in my phone. I didnt get back there because I think they wont care about 1 unsatisfied customer and I dont wanna waste my time with them anymore. I hope this honest review will help somebody to avoid them. I still dont understand how come they have so many positive reviews on google. (its not anonymous complain ill send this on their email as well)

Where to begin....Phenominal Service.... I along with the majority of vehicle owners rely completely on our mechanics to ensure our vehicles are running properly.... I bought an older Silverado off Kijiji and the check engine light came on. I took it to the team here to find out and repair whatever the issue was. They diagnosed and repaired it and I went happily on my way....unfortunately the check engine light came on again so back I went...they had another look and decided it needed a further fix...and they took care of the full days work at no cost to me...all I paid for was the additional part...off I went again and to my dismay that darn light came on again 3 days later...so back again...they had another look and decided I had one of those "special trucks " that are not happy with after market parts and will only be happy with true GM parts...so they went back in and replaced all of the prior parts with GM parts....this took 1.5 days of their time....they did not charge me anything to do this work and were beyond polite through the entire process...you need your vehicle repaired....this is the team you want working with you...

Brought my vehicle in to do an alignment. They called and told me the car was ready, no problems with the car. I started noticing the car wandering on the road, so looked at the alignment report they gave and found the final was more out of alignment than the before! So took it back, where the guy said Looks like he didnt even try. So they had to do it again, promising they would have someone more experienced do the alignment. A couple weeks later Im under my car and find one of the tie-rod end bolts half out, and the other one is just missing! They didnt even put the strut tower dust caps back on, they were just strewn about the engine bay. Went back and got my money back. Who was responsible for leaving bolts missing from my suspension, in the vehicle Im carting my family around in? The owner and his apprentice. Alignments arent rocket science, these guys cant be trusted. Additionally, the fact that they charge over $130 to code a vehicle is b.s.

These guys are amazing! I was having issues with my 2013 dodge ram and I brought it into the shop. Scott stated they could hook it up and run a diagnostic on it. Then upon further conversation he learned that my vehicle was under 100,000 kms and most likely my issue would be covered by the dealership. He could have hooked up my truck and taken the $130 for testing, but he was so honest. (He was right, the issue was covered under warranty). I also had a quote from the dealership on changing my front and rear differential fluids and my transfer case fluids and it would cost 1600 for the work needed. Auto select only charges 1/3 of that amount. Great honest people that wont lead you wrong and the prices are reasonable!

Terrible experience at Glen Meadows Certigard. Howard, the owner, charged us $170.00 for an out of province inspection, over quoted us by $800.00, then out-right refused to give us the customer copy of the $170 inspection form we paid to have filled out because we wanted to shop around for the repairs. We went down the street to SW Certigard and had a completely different experience. The owner helped us report the injustice to Alberta Transportation, and also pointed out an expensive repair that we had been told was necessary that was in perfect condition. Worst experience with an autobody I have ever had. Do yourself a favor and go down the street to SW Certigard instead of here!!
