Went in and test drove a 2012 Toyota 4Runner. We were allowed to take the vehicle to our mechanic to have an inspection done, only after we paid a deposit and signed a purchase agreement, with a clause stating we could cancel the contract if we found any "major issues". Upon inspection found the vehicle was part of the Fort McMurray fires and there was extensive damage to the vehicle. When returning to the dealership we explained that we were no longer interested in the vehicle due to the burn marks, poor paint job, etc. When we asked for our deposit back they refused to give it to us. Alex, the "boss" then started to bully me and belittle me, my wife and my two young children. He has a large bottle of alcohol and a large knife on his desk, very unprofessional. He proceeded to tell me my personality is "ugly" and refused to give us our deposit back. After speaking with MasterCard and explaining the situation the money will be refunded. I would rather walk the rest of my life than ever by a vehicle from this company. The sales guys were fine but Alex is a nasty business person with no morals or ethics. Please think twice before buying a vehicle from here.

Hi I am Nadeem and I purchased a Nissan Rogue from here a few days back. I met Mr.Khalil and found him awesome in customer dealing. The vehicle was very nice but it was the excellent dealing that i looked no further and decided to buy it immediately. Mr.Khalil gave me discount on price, provided all the documents required, extended warranty, arranged insurance on the spot and registration in no time. This is my 10th vehicle in last 23 years and i found Mr.Khalil upto the gold standard of how a car dealer should be. Sunday they are closed but he picked me up from 30km away and opened the showroom to hand over the vehicle to me all serviced and tank full. He gave me a courtesy call twice that how did i like the vehicle. Even 2 weeks later he helped find a good deal for a couple of accessories i wanted to add on. What else we can ask for? I will look forward to the dealership to purchase another vehicle next year and highly suggest that anyone should visit the Chinook Autos if searching for a vehicle. Regards

We had gone to many other dealers and it was very frustrating either they did not know about the car or were unable to help us deal with the financing aspect of the cars. When we went to Chinook Auto Sales I worked with Roger, he made our experience with purchasing much easier. He was knowledgeable about the car but was able to help us refinance our car loan to get a better interest rate and get us the other car we wanted with a much better interest rate. He is a wizard with financing we are saving thousands per year. He explained everything so we understood and was patient with question. If you like no frills dealers but experienced with the area you need them to be then this is the place for you.

We had bought a 2007 Toyota Matrix from Chinook Auto over 5 years ago and we decide it was time for a newer vehicle. We returned and it was like going back and seeing family you have not seen for a while! We bought a Ford Escape and two weeks later went back and ended up buying a second vehicle. Only one small issue the second car is to small, but Khalil is looking at what we can get thats larger as well. UPDATE..........After three weeks of looking and searching and having numerous vehicles shown to me via email and text , Khalil and the team at chinook auto came threw and found me a larger unit! Thank you !!!

Just brought my new truck home thanks to Roger!!... I have been trying to get approved for a heavy duty truck for the last 3 months and no one was able to make it happen. But Roger was able to get me approved with great ease, all it took was one email and that very same day I left in my truck. He hooked me up with a really good warranty and did this all within my budget so all in all I was very satisfied with everything and I definitely recommend to anyone that needs a vehicle to visit these guys...They really do bend over backwards to get you to leave in your wanted ride and with a smile on your face...

Buyer beware: I found a car they advertised and got in touch with one of their sales people. I asked via email if the car had any accidents or needed any investment and the sales guy told me no, it is all ok. I decided to go check out the car and possibly buy it and I found that the car had hail damage all over. It surprised me that the sales guy that was present when I went did not point that out before I discovered and also acted as he was unaware of it (they have a small lot of about 20 cars). I will look into reporting this to AMVIC as no other potential buyers should be tricked or lied to.

The worst thing i ever did was go to this dealership to buy my Truck ! I bought a truck that cost me $19000 with the extended warranty , 10 weeks after buying it it breaks down , transmission gone , u joints siezed and drive shaft gone !! THIS PLACE SAID TOUGH LUCK BASICALLY ITS NOT OUR PROBLEM !! warranty wouldnt pay either , so we paid $5000 to have it repaired !! and guess what after having it back for only 1 week it broke down again !!! called this dealers again and was told not our problem ! ...... never buy a vehicle from here , absolute cowboys !

BUYER BEWARE !!!!!!!!!!!!!! I guess i should have read reviews before going to this shady place. You looking to get screwed over then this is the right place. Shadiest place I have ever dealt with. I guess i should have known better, when he tells me i cant test drive unless i am buying a vehicle, and when i asked for the vehicle report he wouldnt let me keep the history report for some reason... because its forged documents is more than likely why.... My mechanic is looking over the vehicle so i can send everything to my lawyer and to amvic.

I was in the market looking to buy a vehicle. I came across Chinook Auto Sales and found that they had all the three kinds of vehicles I was looking for. I went in on a saturday and was greeted by Khalil. Khalil was very courteous, polite and knowledgable. He very promptly offered me to take the vehicles for a test drive. We discussed the options and I decided to purchase the vehicle. He even went an extra mile to ensure that the vehicle was detailed to his standards. I would recommend this place to anyone who is in the market for a used car.

just bought a used vehicle there. price was lower by several thousand than comparables at other dealerships but then there was no room to barter which is okay. biggest disappointment of the whole thing was the car was in dire need of a wash when we picked it up even though they knew when we were showing up and the gas tank wasnt full. also tried to sell us warranty but when I googled the warranty company there is a news article that it is out of business and a ton of complaints through BBB.
