I would like to start out by saying, AVOID them at all cost. I had used them for a lease on a vehicle. This is my second lease with them, I first had a small car then traded it in for a bigger one. What the salesmen wont tell you is the truth behind there leases. #1 you cannot get out of it without paying for all the interest they charge. For example you buy a 10,000 vehicle they will charge you 18000 over 4 years, if you decide to trade the vehicle in or terminate the lease you owe 18000. You will pay for interest on something that hasnt even happened yet. Your not driving the vehicle anymore but they expect you to pay the interest as if you were still paying it all out. That is fraudulent and should be illegal but somehow these guys manage to stay in business. The truth is that they hide all this fine print and legal crap and promise your credit will rise and that you will be another happy customer being bent over and taken for thousands of dollars. They are a second chance lender I understand that, however they are very misleading in the fact that you get screwed. I am very disappointed in them and even tried working with them to hash out a deal on the buyout. They wanted $22,000 and change which I get since I only have made 5 payments so far but why am I paying you that much for a vehicle that will only get $10000 on trade in value. Why do I pay you for interest that hasnt even happened yet? Its simple I wanted to give them a large sum of money for the buyout, which is freeing up capital with no risk and they refused to budge on the price saying I signed a legal document that states I willingly accept to pay interest that doesnt exist and is somewhere in the future. They dont say that your actually going to have to pay the total amount, they say there are no fees involved to cancel early. Well yes there arent because you charge for the whole thing as if I was going to be making my payments over the whole term. I strongly suggest looking anywhere you can before coming here, if your credit is that bad take transit. It is not worth the loss and stress to get involved with a company that does not care about how much money and damage they cause. I am well aware that this review will be read by Cavalcade, and I will have no problem removing it or changing it if you guys will gladly learn to work with your clients who are wanting to give you money to buy the vehicle outright. I am a reasonable business minded person and understand we all need to make money, however giving you a good chunk of money plus what I have paid you is something you should be willing to discuss . Your company has made a lot of money of me with ZERO RISK. I have never missed a payment in over a year now. To conclude, avoid second chance lenders like this one, they are not here to help you, they are there to make money off of your misfortunate or previous mistakes in life.

Over 7 years I leased to buy 2 vehicles, which restored my devastating credit loss due to bankruptcy after the death of my wife with a long term illness. The good news is today I purchased a brand new car based on these steady payments to Cavalcade, private financiers who report to the credit bureau. The first vehicle was excellent, low km good shape. used it in my business until it miled out 3 years later and traded it in on one with lower km. The second vehicle was an example of their predatory lending practices. They sold me junk that had a safety report, for example, which said the wipers were good, and the next day they literally disintegrated. It cost me 4000.00 in the first month to keep my driving business on the road. The safety inspection sign my a licensed mechanic out of Big 4 Motors (dont ever go there) said I had some 80,000 km on the vehicle. Those were miles, it was an American car. Signed legal document. I still have it. So they repossess something that was abused, clean it up and sell it to you, and since you cant afford the repairs, they repossess it again, rinse and repeat. They have a lease to own agreement which allows this and a gps unit in the car which if you miss a payment, because you need money for repairs, they turn the car off remotely and send a tow truck. Rinse and repeat on the next victim. I worked around this because I have repair resources most people in poverty who need a car to get to work dont have. Avoid these people and go to Alberta Treasury Branch, same lending conditions to qualify, no abuse. I wish I had. Everything the previous posters said about poor customer service and victim blaming when your car explodes, is all true from my experience.

Having just got my 2nd vehicle (only 4 months ago and 3000km) from these guys and not once did they tell me in advance that both vehicles were in accidents, until it was time to sign the paperwork. That to me is a little on the shady side of used car sales men. So this new/used vehicle was having issues when I got up to 90 km p/h, this on Deer Foot, my check engine light was going off and the car was binging. When I was able to get off and slow down to 50 all seem to have stopped, nope as soon as I got up to 60 the light started to go off again. Called my salesmen and was told to call my warranty provider and see what they could do and his hands were tied and could not do anything for me. After seeing the mechanic I was told that this is an issue that could have been taken care of by Cavalcade and Big 4 motors, but no just doing the bare minimum just to get the vehicle off the lot I have when all is said and done I will be out $700 and 2 days missed at work, that’s (160 x 2). To people that don’t have lots, that a lot of money. However lesson learned, I will get my finances fixed up and go to a real dealership and purchase a vehicle with no accidents and a sales group that will stand behind their products, and not leave it to warranties.

This place is historically brutal you call and no one answers the phone it took me days to finally reach someone. I bought my truck there and not even a month I called telling them there was issues with my truck and was told to bad. They mislead us with the purchase and I had to finally dump the truck and it was bought out by a REAL DEALER and the slimmy scum bags of the car world are still trying to take my money. Oh and they dont help your credit because until you make the final payment it none of your payments get reported so instead of you spending years thinking you should have a stronger rating you find out this garbage. I know where the vehicles were coming from and if people out there new where and how the inspections are shady they would think twice. Dirty scum of the earth companies like this should lose there abilities to sell cars because they are the true definition of scum. I had to put one star because they dont let you put negative stars and there wouldnt be enough to cover the disappointment and discuss of feeling ripped off by these crack heads of the car world. I make sure that I tell everyone not to go there and if I could stand out with a sign and detour people I would because no one should feel robbed.
