These people are awesome and sincerely care about people. I was stranded at my home 350 kilometers away from calgary with a broken van,my husband was away in Saskatoon working.I had no way to go get another vehicle and my broken down one couldnt be repaired. I received a phone call from them imediatly after i put in my application that was 7pm friday night.Saturday afternoon i had a vehicle picked,approved,did paperwork via email. Monday evening at 7pm my vehicle was delivered to my door.The vehicle was everything it was claimed to be,beautiful,clean condition,mechanically sound.I did apply other places and was approved however not one place was willing to try and accomadate the fact that my husband couldnt chat on the phone as he had no cell service where he was working or that i couldnt come to calgary and sign papers,they wound all email me back at 9 pm and tell me to phone them.So i see the rating for the other dealership ,they may be the best at selling,but no human compassion,not willing to do anymore than required by their job title including calling long distance to me. So i bought from car max who sincerely cared and were 100 percent honest and had the newest vehicles for the fairest price.I would definitely recommend Chris at Car Max.

What a terrible experience. I was led on and on and on for the better part of two weeks with the b.s. that these guys fed me. I had to keep calling them back to see what was happening with my file. There was always an excuse for why they had not called me back. That "approval for everyone" was a bunch of b.s. unless you want to pay 29 per cent interest. I cannot tell enough people that these ones need to be stayed clear of. They keep you hanging on, then give all excuses why they couldnt call you or whatever. I have never been treated so shoddily from a car company. I rate this company at a one, however, it doesnt even rate in my books. They need to close up shop. Please, oh please, stay clear of this company. There is lots of stuff said good about them. I am here to tell you, this company is no good. I just saw moonstargazers review, and Im with him...thanks Jack...is there a Jill...if there was a woman Im sure these guys would be doing better...and thanks Brian...what a bunch of B.S. guys...consumers...go to a reputable source...stay clear of these slimy characters.

bought a used 2013 Hyundai Genesis Sedan, Oct 16 2013, Car had some deep scratchies , next took it in to get it fixed, Sanded it out and repainted it, took it in a week later because it had bad road noice, took them awhile but they found the problem, Cupped tires, So they said they will replace the tires and did a wheel alignment , couple days later the transmission was slipping, told them I wanted to trade the car in, Had to many problems for having it for just over a week, didnt put 2000km since I bought it. So I could trade it back with there 2000km or 1 month return policy. My salesman said he would talk to his manager and get back to me, Its Dec 2 and still no phone call back, Put more then 2000km on it now and its over a month, And to top it off , I took the car in for its first wash last weekend (Nov 30) and guess what! I have a bright white car with a front bumber that has grey primer all over it, The white paint has all come off, Sent an Email to my sales about it, and still havent got a call back from him.....Thanks Jack!

Lie is common at Car Max Canada Superstore is that a car salesman at the dealership tells you to close the deal you need a co-signer to close Knowing your credit score helps when you hear this lie. A shady car salesman will tell you a co-signer will be necessary to purchase a vehicle. This situation arises when a consumer has a poor credit history and/or a low-paying job. Instead of rejecting your application, a dealer will look for someone in your family to purchase the car. In other words, they are looking for a buyer, not a co-signer. They will say you need a co-signer and make that person the primary owner rather than a guarantor.

Bought a truck when it showed up it didnt have the proper tailgate had a flow gate but yet the pics on the website truck had the factory tailgate carmax told me thats how they got the truck. They told me they would pay the pst for the out of province when it came time for me to plate the truck they asked if I would pay it then they would send me a cheque that was 7 weeks ago. When I call it get nothing but lies all they say is tomorrow or we will have to call back but never a return call.

Great experience with carmax the salesmen who dealt with me was straight with me from the start,asked me what vehicle I wanted and he put me in what I wanted on good payments and a good Apr and the car was delivered to my door with a full tank of gas after being serviced,inspected and carproofed,what more can you ask for in fact so good I sent a friend his way and he sorted him out as well.couldnt be happier thanks Chris and carmax....

Everyone here was amazing! Definitely the best experience ive ever had purchasing a vehicle, i was approved the day after i went in and had my new VW Tiguan within the week. I really didnt think it was going to happen that fast due to my below average credit, but they worked their magic and here i am loving the new VW. Big shout and thanks to Brandon House and the Carmax team for being magicians!!!

Car Max has been wonderful to me. I was able to find a car I wanted, and when I unfortunately needed service, they made sure I was recommended to a shop where I received excellent care, above and beyond what was required. Im very happy to have dealt with them, and will continue to do so.

Got my car today. Everything was perfect and no pain. Yes, I got high interest but what you want it credit history is crushed. Anyway I got good car for good price and left fully satisfied. Special thank for Cory. Everyone have different experiences but I was happy with those guys.

It was so rushed, all they wanted was for me to sign the papers, could not even take the car for a test drive told me due to taking the other SUV for a test drive it was the same. The worst experience in my life. Would not recommend them to anyone .
