I want people to know I am the one who dealt with this lady in regards to our Ford Taurus and feel the absolute need to explain the situation. Here is the very last msg I sent to her and was as proffessional as one can be in a situation like this: "Please come and pick up your deposit we have no intentions on keeping your money . I apologize we were unable to satisfy your needs. I suggest highly that you find a new family mechanic . Thank you for you time. " Here at Calgary Auto Emporium we pride in our customer service and always do more then what is expected. In my experience working in the Sales industry its difficult to deal with "tire kickers" and people who feel they are above you. I am not here to talk badly about this particular customer but merely to explain our side of the story, so that people who do see a bad review can understand what truly is happening. Every aspect of the car was shown to her and can be seen by the naked eye. We then went on a test drive and she was confident that this was the Ford Taurus that she wanted. So therefore we went ahead to negotiate price. Once we came to an agreement they wanted it seen by her mechanic. I then received a deposit to hold the vehicle and made arrangements to deliver the car to her mechanic. Once I got to her mechanic I asked to see his AMVIC Licence in order to make sure this was a fully licence shop. He was greatly affected by this question and was very rude to me. The next day he calls me and tells me to pick up this piece of sh%# car and he will not fu%^in look at this vehicle. To my shock he then started to accuse me of trying to sell her a piece of junk and began cussing out our dealership. In all my years have never been treated so poorly by any mechanic. When we went to go pick up the car he even threatened to beat us down with a bat. I should be reporting him to the police. I do not understand how anyone can come to these conclusions. I showed him respect and was very nice to him in fact. This is how a normal situation would work in a Normal sale and a normal outside mechanic check: ( Everything would be the same. They would decide the vehicle and I would take it to the shop. They would call me the next day and tell me its been inspected and to come and pick up the report and vehicle. I would then show it to the customer and they would then make a decision if this is in fact the vehicle that they can afford. We would go through the inspection together and if there are any problems or surprises with the vehicle we would either come to a decision of what can be done to fix it or move on to another car) very simple straight forward, honest and no issues. To come and blame us for trying to sell an innocent young lady a piece of sh%# car is beyond me. If I refused to do an outside inspection, told her that she couldnt test drive the car and would not let her see the car with her own eyes. Yes I would be a greasy salesman and deserve a bad review. We do things properly and allow all of our clients to have many options with affordable solutions. I want everyone to understand sometimes there are people who are just out to hate the world and all we can do is be patient, forgive and move on. Thank you for reading this far and please do not think twice about comming to Calgary Auto Emporium come in any time and talk to me (John) we will proove to you we do good honest business. Ps. Come for yourself and see if the Ford Taurus even has mold you will see it does not.

Dont get confused of Calgary Auto Emporium/Royal Auto Sales the same Owner. Beware this people will sell you a broken car, over charges and will give you excuses and excuses a total waste of time. They sold me a Saab 2011 with a engine light is on with a broken trunk. 2 months of driving it they still was not able to fix the problem. I also notice that there charging so much fees and most of the numbers in the bill of sales dont add up over charge. They replace my car with a Hyundai and again a missing bolt in the brake caliber. They dont care if the car is properly check as long they make the money and make sure get a copy of the mechanical assessment. Read the warranty waste of money, dont let Frank explain to you in a very fast manner so you could sign the contract right away. They charge so much from the warranty of 2500 with 1star from global warranty that most mechanic wont deal with them. They refused to give me a refund of my down payment from the Saab which is broken when they sold me and the warranty I paid. Never again!!!! Also my friend car that she purchased from them is also the front is broken and one of the tire is winter. They will take advantage of people like me that dont know anything about buying cars from a dealer. Now I will have Amvic deal with them.

BUYERS BEWARE If I could give them -5 stars I would. If youre going to buy a car from these people TAKE IT TO YOUR OWN MECHANIC. THEY WILL KNOWINGLY SELL YOU MOLDY CARS. I am young lady and I feel as though this business really took advantage of my ignorance about cars. Before closing a deal(thank goodness) , I took a FORD TAURUS I was wanting to purchase to my own mechanic, HE FOUND A HOLE IN THE TRUNK and upon lifting the fabric in the trunk he found large amounts of BLACK MOLD making the car itself a health hazard. I understand they may have not even realized this before hand, and I let them know about the obvious health hazard. They have since then REPOSTED THE SAME FORD TAURUS ADVERTISING AS ***SUPER CLEAN*** please be aware that this dealers idea of SUPER CLEAN may in fact be synonymous with SUPER MOLDY. Also the people working at this lot are extremely unprofessional. An employee repeatedly accused Me of being a racist when I didnt want to buy the car because of obvious reasons .

After having gone to Rush Autos with my bad credit and being told my only option for financing was a 2007 Ford Focus Wagon in puke green, and thats ONLY if I put $1000 down up front, I went to Calgary Auto Emporium, spoke with Ivy, and was able to finance a 2013 Ford Fiesta with $500 down. Ivy (and the entire staff) was amazing and I am so happy with my car . This was my first time ever financing a car and Ivy made it an easy, comfortable experience. I would 100% recommend Calgary Auto Emporium to anybody looking to finance a car, bad credit or not.
