Went in for insurance work with 8k$ of damage in November. Car was returned to me 4-5 weeks after being brought in for paint work and small mechanical work. Right off the bat, hard lines were noticeable in door jams and trim pieces were missing. After returning to get those problems straightened out, paint was still fairly poor. Dirt And sanding marks under the paint, were noticeable and improper prep work on the front fender which let to the Orange peel effect on that fender were very visible. This last week I had the chance to return it back to the shop to try and get them to fix the poor paint work on the drivers side fender and rear passenger door and it was returned to me in approximately 5 days in worse shape...The paint was somewhat fixed but still has many particles in the paint, run marks now, hardlines are very visible and over spray all over my driver door... Id also like to mention I was a detailer at All Makes Collision for a year, so my eye for detail is a bit better than the average person, but these flaws are very noticeable even to the untrained eye. Unfourtunately, Ive had a terrible experience with shop, the customer service was good in the beginning, but has deteriorated as I kept coming back for their "lifetime warranty" as I wasnt happy with the work done. I have now contacted my insurance company for further information as to what can be done to fix the paint and body at another shop with proper trained painters and bodymen aswell as good QC.

I took my car in for 2 separate damages to be repainted. After several phone calls going over both different claims with several people, as it seemed no one communicated I felt fairly confident both would be repaired. A few days after I dropped it off, I received a phone call saying my car was ready, a week earlier than I had originally been quoted. They had forgotten to do the second repair. When I went to go pick up my car, they had left cleaning rags and various other trashes in the car. I gassed it up on my way home, and had to borrow a knife from the gas station attendant to pry my gas cap open as they had left all the taping on the inside in place and sealed shut. Finally, I went over all this with their follow up satisfaction phone call, where I explained it seemed Carstars generally had no idea what was going on, and there was no communication. Tonight, I received a phone call asking about my experience with Carstars, again. Carstars has no idea what is going on, avoid them. However, I will say, they paint repair was good.

My first conversation with Chris (Customer Service Rep.) was fantastic. On the phone, I mentioned to Chris that the front bumper needed to be repaired within 3 to 4 weeks as the vehicle is on lease and needs to be returned in 5 weeks. Chris said there shouldnt be a problem with that and asked me to come in for an estimate scheduled for several days later. At the estimate I again mentioned that the repairs need to be done right away. Chris acknowledged this. Two days later I get an estimate for the repairs and then am told that the repairs wouldnt start until more than 6 weeks from now. I asked to speak with the manager Joel and explained the situation and asked Joel if there was anything that he could do. Joel stated that there was nothing that he could do for me. Sadly, this will be my last experience with CarStar. I feel like Ive been scammed. They told me what I wanted to hear then shafted me. The worst part is that I am now more than a week delayed in getting the repairs done.

Second time at East lake. First time was good. This time terrible job. The actual repair was average. Over spray left on trunk that I at first didnt notice until later when car was parked in the sun. Interior of car was left very dusty, looked like a poor attempt at a clean up. Roof repairs were done and sun roof was not put back in right position, you could see it was out of alignment and leaked bad. Car star denied they even touched it. I know it was not like that when I dropped it off. Cost $180.00 at Chrysler to have realigned and calibrated. Lastly, just had car go into another shop for hail repair, they called me and said who ever did last roof repair (carstar) had broken console that is above rear view mirror. Poorly glued it back together and got it back in place hoping it would last, when it should have been replaced Not recommended to use this location.

Absolutely appalled at the service that I received here. I was rear ended in October of last year, the estimated damage was approximately $13 000. My vehicle spent 63 days in the shop without even a single thing being done to it. They sent updates about every 3 weeks, saying that my estimated completion date was only 2 days away - and it was never done in 2 days. When I received the vehicle back after almost 80 days in shop, the tailgate didnt properly close, and the welds on the frame had already started to rust. When I brought these concerns to the GM he was incredibly rude and treated me like I was an idiot. I took it to Ford who had to completely redo the repairs costing more time and money. Absolutely disgusted with the lack of concern for their customers & the lack of attention to detail. Will never return here.

Arguably the worst customer service experience Ive ever had. I had $10K of work done here. They never called me to let me know when my vehicle was done - I had to call them after a lengthy period of time of wondering when it would be done. When they returned it to me, one of the brake lamps was out - an issue that didnt exist when I initially took the vehicle in for work - and they had left a razor blade in one of the cupholders. I returned it to fix the issues that theyd created at my inconvenience and when I picked it up for the second time, there was another issue inside the vehicle that didnt exist before I dropped it off that I had to go back into the shop to have them fix before I could leave with it. Not only would I not recommend this business to anyone, I would strongly advise you avoid it at all costs.

Looks amazing and great work BUT of course when you put it back together and break parts and try to hide it then you get bad reviews. The truck was given back on time and look great until I seen that the 3m rock protection was missing and the exhaust was still bent from the accident. The parts that were broken were not part of the accident but needed to be removed for the repair. I didnt notice until a few days later that they were broken , I had to get the appraiser involved in order to repair the parts that CARSTAR broke. The worst part is that it took them 3 months for them to fix the it that they were given approval to replace by my insurance company . If it wasnt for myself phoning avery week to find why the parts arent ordered my vehicle would still not be repaired.
