Zero stars!!!!!! i got ripped off for $1200!! i brought my car in to paint the hood of my car and paint the bumper on a monday and Stephen with amax said he would have it look new in two days. He called 3 times the next 3 days saying that there was a "chemical issue" with his paint and that he needed to re do the paint job. A week later and the forth time he painted he called me to have me pick it up. the paint had dust in it, and it had the texture of an orange peel. A week later I noticed a 8 inch crack in the paint all the way down to the steel. i went over to see stephen and he immediately said i hit something. I asked him what i could of hit to have the paint split perfect the way it did. he raised his voice and told me to leave . i went to another paint shop and they said it was the worst paint job theyve ever seen. we peeled the entire paint off in one peice like it was a fruit rollup. now i have to pay another $600 to have the new guys repaint it. AMAX COMPLETLY RIPPED ME OFF FOR $1200. he has no business toaching anyones car!!!! instead of saying sorry and figuring this problem out with me he actually got mad at me. His daughter was horrible to me as well. Update 02/17 This is the bumper one winter after amax put clear coat on it. Pathetic amax. Your a joke. They didnt even paint it the right color first. Im surprised hes not out of business yet. Absolute nightmare! By the way. If there are any good reviews for this company its because he either payed for them, did it himself or had a family member fake a review. This man has no business touching anyones car. Hell just screw it up and blame someone or something else. I want my $1200 you ripped me off for. I have all the pictures of what you did, and all the receipts for what I payed to make it better. Update August 2017, I just payed another 400$ to get my bumper re painted last week. Turns out amax didnt even paint it, all they did was clear coat it. Hey amax, you should give up. This is Canada and people here wont put up with your Chinese rip off sham business you have. You stole allot of money from me!

Oh boy what a place.lets start fro front staff,a lady who doesnt want to listen and act like we all are dumb people.i was here for my cars salvage inspection but I took me 3 times before it get passed .very bad experience. cannt say much but I would not recommend to come here unless u have get every thing done by shop or you are licencesed.u cannt prove ur point in any means with this place .all I heard again n again was who has inspection licences.can u believe that he wrote one wiper blade worn out in passenger side needs to be replaced.so I said I will comply with every thing he asked me to do.i was fixing my car by myself so was not that bad for me but some one who has to ask for help or pay shop to do it u better look for a different place who will try to listen and cooperate with u too.4 out of 10 .tough place.....with very untrained and unprofessional staff.

My truck was "repaired" here while i was in the process of buying my truck. Complete disaster, not only did they manage to drip paint all over my skirt, wipers and seals, they also sprayed primer all over my rear leather seats and let it. Oh and even better, i went to the car wash and the paint pealed off my truck, cleat coat pealing as well. On top of that rather then properly removing badges and painting my panels right they just sanded up to the badges and painted up to them leaving heavy and easy to see transitions. Completely garbage tradesmenship, makes me really question the legitimacy of the salvage inspection they did on the truck days before the truck was sold to us. 10 thumbs down. Say the f away from this shop

My experience here was good. I had a problem with my A/C. Initially, I just tried to recharge the gas, but it did not work even after recharge. They found a bigger problem. But, unlike other places trying to just charge you more that you do not need, Stephen explained the problem in detail very a professional manner. You may feel that he is not so kind, but being honest and professional is more important than kindness and smile to rip you off. It seems that he is very meticulous and trustworthy.
