Had a check engine light coming on intermittently. I took it to the dealership for scheduled maintenance and mentioned the light (it was disabling cruise control so I was hoping they could fix it). They said that, since it wasnt happening while it was in the shop there was nothing they could do, claiming that there was no way to diagnose the issue unless it actually happened in front of them. They said they could TRY changing random items and see if that worked but Id have to pay for each attempt. That was the last straw for me. For the next scheduled maintenance, I decided to try Allmakes instead of the dealership. I mentioned the check-engine light and Allmakes said no problem, when that light comes on, the on-board computer stores a code... Straight to the root cause of the issue - 50 bucks to fix an issue that would have cost tons of money at the dealership. Ive been going to Almakes ever since and my wife now takes her Hyundai there as well. They do the maintenance you need to keep up your warranty without adding in all the extra stuff the dealerships use to pad their margins. These guys know what theyre doing and their honesty and good prices will keep us coming back.

I have taken our 09 Forester here for years, after one of our friends recommended it. Have been very happy. Prices are always very fair, and even if you ask for work to be done, theyll only do it if you need it. Very unlike Subaru Calgary where the last time I took it there, they recommended new tires which was odd, to say the least, considering Id had new ones put on just a few weeks before that! Recently, I had our head gasket replaced at Allmakes after the engine started weeping around 140k. About 4 months later, the Sub died on the side of the highway, no oil at all. Alllmakes said that sometimes the gasket repair can put more pressure on bad valves, but it would have been unusual to have this happen on an engine with this many kms. They didnt feel they did anything to cause this, but ended up finding a used engine and did a complimentary replacement. Im very impressed, and glad to be back on the road again. Any shop that will stand behind their work like this has earned my business for life!

We have been going to Allmakes since 2006, when we bought our first Subaru. I am still driving that Sube!, and, it has a lot to do with the amazing service and quality of work at Allmakes. The most important thing for me is that I trust the advice and recommended repairs from them. After that, their prices are very fair, and they will work on something until they get it right. Sometimes at their own cost. When I need to buy a new car, I will have to buy a Subaru because I trust the service from All Makes so much! I cant imagine going any where else!

My daughter complained of a funny knock coming from the back suspension on her car. I drove the car and could not figure out the source of the noise. I took the car to AllMakes and it turned out to be a loose left rear wheel. Apparently the tire shop did not tighten the rear wheel properly. The guys at AllMakes tightened the wheel for me and sent me on my way. I trust them 100% to accurately diagnose any problem with full integrity and honesty.

Hands down the best experiences I have ever had with auto repair and mechanics. If you care about professional, effective and quick service this is the place to go. I moved from out of province and was referred to All Makes and Ive never regretted going there. The prices are more than fair for the high-quality wor! To top it all off, they are extremely kind & understanding. If you had one auto shop to go to in Calgary, this would be the place!

AllMakes takes care of their customers. If you need your car fixed and dont have time to shop around for multiple quotes look no further. Honest and well priced. This company has exceeded expectations and arranged for work to be done for me outside the scope of their service. I trust these guys with my Subaru over the dealerships any day.
