So, generally, when you ask for a part and the counter person says they have it, that means you can buy it and it will work. Generally. I asked for a cross bar assembly and they first tried to offload an entire roof rack with the cross bars. This was not needed as I already have the rack and only needed the cross bars. After a few "let me see what we can do calls", (of course my generous cash incentive was the reason for the looking into things), they miraculously had some cross bars they could sell because they had been around a long time. I asked that they were sure they had all the hardware and they said " nope". So after a few calls on my end it was found the bolts I needed were $120. I told them I wasnt buying without the right hardware. After a "let us check into it" talk I received a call saying all the bolts suddenly appeared. Another miracle. I was further reassured that they cant sell parts that dont work, "if it doesnt fit because it is damaged or incomplete we cant sell it." I make the hour commute to find a seedy bait and switch in where I am not given the parts with complete hardware and rather, told to buy the entire assembly as per the original conversation. For a 50% increase in my cost. The counter guy blamed the counter girl and it came down to literally -he said she said- and I was on the hook for a total waste of precious time. A-1 Parts For Less, in this economic climate, shame on you for misrepresentation and greedy malice. We need honesty and forthcoming information, not scamming and time wasting. I dont recommend.

Danielle at A-1 parts is Awesome! Her level of customer service via the phone orders I placed was great each time I called. When she said she would call back she called back in a timley matter giving an update on whether or not they had the part in stock. The couple of times that I needed a part shipped to me in Edmonton she had it to me by the next day. Now that may not seem like a big deal but when I called it was later in the afternoon and she still managed to get it shipped that day The business office and parking lot are clean and organized unlike a neighbor of theirs whom I mistakenly went to first. I highly recommend A-1 Parts and I will be doing more business with them again when needed. Brad -Edmonton

Service was terrible. Staff was rude. My radiator had a massive crack at the top. I asked for water told they had nothing. Buddy made a call atleast got me some fluid. Thanks. But then he came out while i was filling my rad. I told him my rad was broken and asked how much. He said you have the cap off. Ofcourse its leaking. I tried to show him what was wrong. He blew up at me and said i have an attitude problem. He thought i was trying to run my car without the rad cap. When in reality the rad was leaking from between the plastic and aluminum at the top. So thanks for the disrespectful behaviour.

In October I purchased several parts, for the front suspension of my vehicle, from A1 parts. I was told that they would have to be ordered in from another city, and that it would take several days. Two months later my order arrived, at twice the price I was quoted. Additionally, they were not the parts that I had requested. When I spoke to a customer service representative, he told me that it was not his responsibility to remedy the issue, because they are not parts from A1. I am very disappointed in the service I received, and will not be a returning customer.

I have always had friendly, pleasent and knowledgeable customer service from this place. The girls really know their stuff. Ive been coming here for at least 10 years. And only ever had one accident when someone brought the wrong part to their store for pick up, not paying much attention I brought it home and realized it was for a Nissan not a Chev. Had no problem returning it for right part. Keep up the great work ladies.

Both of the ladys on the counter went over and above to help me. Needed a computer for my newer MDX, I searched on my own and no luck anywhere, was treated a little rude form other places and got a short "no" from everywhere else I tried. They were super friendly and searched high and low to find it for me. They saved me a lot of money! Thank you girls!

Very very bad place to buy a part from them guys make sure that the manager by the name of holly is a snake there she bites you they dont have good parts and the dont have good customer services so please and please dont buy parts from here thank you

Had what I needed! Answered the phone promptly and courteously. The part was available and was sold for a reasonable price (1/4 of the dealership!). Late model vehicles plentiful, which are usually hard to find parts for from wreckers.
