Very annoyed with this outfit... got a 2010 Fort Koup back when KIA was on Kipp Scotts lot and for the few years that I drove it I was constantly harassed by mail, phone calls to trade in and also warnings about scheduled service appointments even though I kept the car immaculate and had low mileage every time I went in to get a service done. I repeatedly had to tell them to stop with the harassing phone calls and to remove my name from their mailing list. When I decided to trade my Koup in since I was in the market for a "new" truck, KIA Red Deer had been established by this point and tried to get me to trade my car in for one of their pre owned trucks on the lot. After a bunch of time wasted on a Saturday listening to the salesman drone on about what he could do for me, the lustre wore off quick as it seemed sneaky and far fetched. And while I pondered this, he left me sitting at the desk waiting for close to an hour while he was having some shady conversation with the sales manager. At this point I got up and left as I did not feel like being manipulated into trading in at this dealership. The service proved to be rude and uncourteous as I received a couple of voice mails on my cell phone wondering where I disappeared to and to come back. I disregarded both as I felt it was a diservice to make me wait for so long to get and answer and they just assumed I was going roll over. Unfortunately since they got all of my information (again), they have repeatedly called me to schedule service appointments on a vehicle I no longer possess and every time I tell them to take my name and information off their records and mailing lists. They are still sending mail to 2 different addresses that I no longer live at and they were told several times to stop and I still get calls to my cell bit I have somehow memorized their number so as soon as I answer I say I am not interested and to stop calling... a few months pass and some other goon is trying to call me from the same number. Since you are no good at listening to your customers, consider this review as a tool to improve... and for the last time, REMOVE ME FROM YOUR SYSTEM, STOP PHONING AND STOP SOLICITING TO MY PREVIOUS ADDRESSES.

My name is Kyle Kevin James Rosenthal i am a dealer at KIA motors and notice i have a few bad reviews., I would like to apologize on my behalf for some of you who have been frustrated with my way of bringing in customers. I do things through Face Book for a certain reason. I can stay connected with my clients and new friends 24/7 when they have a question i can answer immediately, people can get to know me a little bit before starting business and i reach people who never even thought they had a chance of getting approved. I am not just trying to promote KIA and the red deer store, but my self as a whole. I am also the creator and host for the Truly Canadian Hat Trick Comedy and Variety Show, and big time family man with a huge heart. I love to make people laugh and i love to help people, go through my face book and see my stories of what i have done for my clients/and new friends . not just with KIA, and the comedy and variety show, but also on many personal levels., I treat everybody i meet with the same amount of respect, no matter race, status, age or looks. Im genuinely here to help as many people as i can in as many ways as possible just come in to say hi one day i love meeting people. Yes there are going to be people who get mad from getting a random face book message, but they also get mad with fliers , emails, phone calls and door to door sales man, it s a part of sales. i figure i simple Face Book message is less annoying then a phone call. and my clients can go through my page and actually get to know the dealer on the other side before starting business. Im just a father trying to provide for his family, and help as many people as possible. So again for the few people who have been frustrated with my way of business i sincerely apologize from the bottom of my heart i do not wish to have a bad reputation. For the amount of people i have helped since i got into this business going through face book Greatly out weighs the number of people who have been frustrated , so i will continue my way on helping people. check out my face book, Kyle Kevin James Rosenthal

I wish there was an option for 0 stars. 1 is really too generous for my experience. I was up in Red Deer for the weekend visiting friends and I saw a vehicle advertised on kijiji that I was interested in seeing. The price wasnt listed so I called in the afternoon to enquire. I was transferred to Devon and enquirered about the price. He said they had it priced in the low 20s and that I should come check it out. I asked again later in our conversation and he stated 22-25K for the price. When asked further he said he didnt know the exact number because the vehicle had just come in. So my friend and I went over to check the vehicle out. Upon arriving and checking the vehicle out I again asked what the price was. He stated that he had to ask his manager as it had just come in. We took the vehicle for a test drive and I liked it so we went inside to finally find out the price. I was made to sign a sales document before he could get the price from the manager-what a joke. I requested to see the car fax. It was 4 pages, he brought the first 2 with 2 blank pages stapled to the back - red flag. When I enquirered why that was he told me that the printer sometimes acts up... When I was finally told the price, after an hour and a half at the dealer, the price was $40K!!! It was a complete waste of my time, of which I had little of. The sales guy played it off like there wasnt even a difference and when I asked to see the sales manager he was either too inexperienced or too inept to care that I had been flat out lied to. Clearly they arent worried about their reputation. Dishonest sales tactics are likely leading to smoke and mirrors numbers in the finance office. My advice would be to steer clear away. I havent had this shadey of an experience with a business ever.

Im not a big fan of negative publicity but these guys REALLY got to me. I called on a used vehicle and was very open and upfront about my needs as far as payment and interest goes. That was on a Monday. I sent all the paperwork and info they requested and was told that was for sure doable. TEN days later I was still getting told "Were just trying to get it finalized with the bank, its not tubed". I called several times each day and was told I would be contacted in a few minutes. Only to be told by finance "I never got any messages". The receptionist even went so far as to tell me that "phone customers are never as important as customers in the dealership". After several days of playing phone tag or getting no response at all, I drove the hour and twenty minutes to the dealer to get things figured out. They then informed me that there was nothing going on with the bank as they needed the statements I had already provided them the week before to send the bank. I had to go to my bank and pay $20 out of pocket to get copies of the info I had already provided but they "misplaced" (good to know my financial info is out floating around). Then this morning I get a call from the "General Manager" who informs me that the payments will be 60% higher than what I was promised. He said that vehicle wont work. Having been a automotive sales manager and having done finance in the past I was a bit confused how a $19 499 vehicle at 16.5% over 72 months equated to over $43000 if taken to term. I guess a lot has changed in the world of auto dealers, but not really. Take your chances if you must but I strongly recommend seeking a more established and reputable dealer.
