I got a phone call a couple of days ago from the salesman I purchased my 2010, Dodge Journey from. He had a great deal for me, he said. Get the 2012 for only $40 more per month. Come on out and check it out. I did, and he immediately had me switch my things from my 2010 to the 2012. I hadnt seen any paperwork yet, but the salesman assured me everything would be the same, (ie) - the interest rate and term. My husband, who works in Fort McMurray, wouldnt be home until next week, but said salesman was so anxious to have the paperwork signed, that he sent a driver all the way up there to meet him!! Seemed strange to me, and I said, if there are any surprises, the deal was a no go. My husband recognizes the vehicle he was meeting as OURS! The salesman had sent his driver to Fort Mac, with our vehicle, when no paperwork had been signed and no deal had been made. When my husband reviews the paperwork, he discovers the deal isnt so good. We pay $30 more bi-weekly, and for 5 years, but with one catch - there is a $22,000 balloon payment to be made at the end of those 5 years!! Were getting only $700 for the trade in!! The 2012 Journey would cost over $60,000!! My husband gets the sales guy on the phone and he says oh dont worry, you wont have it long enough to worry about that! Really?? Who was he to say that! My husband also noted that the amortization was 96 months when the salesman claimed it was 80!! NO DEAL!! I go to the dealership this morning to pick up MY vehicle which they had taken to Fort McMurray, and its not there because the driver is still in bed. I was greeted by a smug manager, Brad, I believe was his name, who was cold and completely unapologetic, and of no help what so ever. Said go home, and well bring it to you when he gets here with it. Well, since you shouldnt have had it in the first place, Ill wait, I replied. While I waited, I spoke to another salesman, and explained what had happened. He shook his head, said they really tried to play you for an idiot and you should be irate. I am, I said. He said people like that make it bad for everyone in this business. Half hour went by, I sat by myself with my 17 month old, Brad had disappeared. I looked for someone else and had the finanance manager make a call, and then advised me to go home and wait!! Its Saturday, and I have things to do!! He doesnt care about that, I am left at their mercy. Still sitting here, waiting for my vehicle to show up. Hint to Brad and Adam, it takes integrity and respect for you customers to sell cars, and you gave me neither!! I have already referred one friend out there, but there will never be another.

This is the WORST dealership you will ever go to...GO TO STONY OR SHERWOOD PARK! They have the worst customer appreciation and service I have ever seen! The GM is nothing but a belittling, condescending, joke of a "business" man I have ever seen. This dealership does nothing but manipulate you into thinking they are catering to your needs when buying a vehicle, They took a woman who has just been through a divorce, got her a brand new journey thats "great on gas" and took her 2 year old FULLY LOADED yukon that had 30,000 k on it. Knowing she did not have great car buying experience, used the yukon for a trade in for, a wait for it...$1000... and no I did not miss 0s and yes it was in mint condition.... she even had it detailed. They are pathetic crooks!! THHEEENNN they took a young family sold them a truck. The one time it breaks down, takes them 1 1/2 to "fix"... an hour after picking it up it engine light goes off and what do you know.... another possible 7 days for an 02 sensor. And if it wasnt enough to pull teeth around there to get any sort of arrangement for a vehicle for him to drive back and forth to work the first time, in a span of 2 hours that vehicle is not available any more. Then to have a pathetic loser of a manager try and belittle the father and acting like a pouty child who got in trouble from daddy (owner while on vacation.... yes they had to call the owner to get something) saying in a span of 2 hours that the vehicle they were using is no "longer available". This is the same "great" manager and staff who a single mom had to take her dodge back 4 times before the idiot mechanics figured out her throttle was getting stuck, so she kept accelerating on the highway with her kids in the truck, and for her to get a vehicle to drive in the mean time, they take a 500 dd before hand... the lady at the front told her not to because they will try to find ANYTHING to keep that 500 at the end.... point is DO NOT go to Spruce Grove dodge.... they are an embarrassment to have as the local dodge dealership.... go somewhere else that actually cares about you after you buy the vehicle from them!! go to stony or sherwood park dodge, way cheaper vehicles, and they are based on loyalty, and they take excellent care of you. We switched and could not be happier... this place is a joke.

I bought a 2012 ram 2500 this summer from here. The second I rolled off the dealership the truck threw engine codes. These guys were spectacularly useless in fixing it. If I was smart I would have walked back into the finance office and torn up the agreement then and there. But I needed the truck to work so I opted to deal with it for the time being and fix it myself later on. (It turned out to be a bad knock sensor) In the span of about 4 months, Ive sunk over $3000 in various repairs on it. Tonight the transmission went into limp mode. The oil in the transfer case is black as midnight and full of metal shavings. It has not been changed in a very, very long time. The transmission is the same story. The transfer case is grinding like a blender, will likely need a full rebuild. Theres a bad pinion bearing and leaking pinion seal in the front dif. I dont even want to look at the transmission. The power steering pump sounds... very upset. So far thats what Ive found, and I havent even looked that hard. While I havent exactly been easy on the truck, its impossible for me to have done this much damage to it in the short period of time I have owned this vehicle. Even if there were still a warranty on it I would refuse to return to this dealership for work. Its safe to assume they do not inspect or do any work on their used vehicles at all prior to selling. The service department is clearly either criminally fraudulent or hopelessly incompetent. I am lucky to be a mechanics son, otherwise it would be cheaper at this point to leave the truck on the side of the road and forget it exists. Long story short, avoid this place like a plague.
