Got my injector issue diagnosed here. Diagnostics was out the roof expensive, and their quote was out to lunch at just under $6000 to replace 8 injectors. Went to Western GMC in Edmonton and their diagnostics were completly different than Competitions. Phoned the service manager at Competition who told me that the diagnostics couldnt be different as they used the same machines. Had to go in to show him the results of Westerns diagnostics. When he seen they were different, he stated Westerns equipment was far more advanced than theirs and their diagnosis was most likley correct even though he allready told me they used the same diagnosis machines. He refused to refund the cost of the diagnostics even though he admitted they may be wrong. Cant believe the unprofessionalism of this place. The parts counter is no better. The guy behind the desk will treat you like an idiot and i found is very arrogant. Avoid Competition Chevrolet at all costs.

Amazing experience!! I bought my wifes Toyota Venza in 2009 and had the worst experience ever due to arrogance everywhere. In contrast I just bought an Avalanche at Competition Chevrolet and had the most incredible experience. Dealing with Bennett and Ehman (Internet Sales) couldnt have been easier. We came to a deal through emails pending a test-drive and vehicle inspection. Once that was done I signed the offer sheet. I came back a few days later and they had even arranged for transfer of Insurance and Registration to the new vehicle! I signed the final papers and they spent the better part of an hour going through the vehicles features with me. Bennett even came in on a day-off because he knew of my previous Toyota experience and wanted to make sure everything went well. They have integrity, honesty and were excellent to deal with. Do yourself a favor and start your car shopping here!

Me and my family were driving from Winnipeg to Vancouver. We broke down just outside stoney plane, I called the local dealer that was Competition Chevrolet and got Trina on the phone. She called the local tow truck company. She said they would have a look at are vehicle as soon as it arrives. She called me back and it was gonna be a two hour wait, as I was travelling alone with my two young girls I asked Trina if it was safe where we were. She asked where we were, and came in her own vehicle and picked us up. We had lunch at a local restaurant that Trina had suggested and we were picked up by the dealer ship shuttle service after our serpentine belt was replaced. Not only was the bill reasonable but I also found out Trina is the service manager at Competition Chevrolet. I think this dealership should be proud to have her as their service manager.

I have bought my last 3 vehicles from Competition Chevrolet in Stony Plain , The last vehicle I purchased was a chevrolet duramax diesel crew cab, After 2 weeks of shopping around in Edmonton , I found the color combination of truck I wanted at Competition,For being in a smaller rural community they have a large selection of vehicles. about 3x any of the other dealerships in Edmonton They gave me the best deal on my trade in and were very helpfull in delivering my new truck. I live in St Albert and drive to Stony Plain to get my truck serviced. Tom in service always makes sure what ever i need done gets handled and always answers the phone when I call.

Bennett and the entire team at competition were outstanding. Bennett was without a doubt the best car salesman Ive ever dealt with. After a brief amount of time I felt I could trust him and that he was committed to finding the right vehicle for us. Ive had my truck serviced 4 times here and every time its been a let down. If youre looking to get charged for bogus PCM scan services or if you enjoy bringing your vehicle in several times because they cant fix it right the first time then this is the dealership for you. I gave them two stars instead of one because theyre open on Saturdays; they only have one or two techs but theyre open.

Had a deal in the works at Westgate. Long story short, the sales department at Competition was far more accomodating and also made me a far better deal on a truck worth more money. Said goodbye to Westgate. Ask for Leonard, he was extremely helpful in sales. As was Brad in finance. Highly recommend their sales department.
