On Christmas Eve I was turned away at door, Nancy wouldnt even get out of her warm office chair as a froze at door! Door posted sin : closed at 2 pm Saturdays, and Dec 25/26th. Nothing about closing early Dec 24th. She yells "closed at noon,". its 12:01pm! I said having issue with your car. Still sits there , while other customers are inside the location. I stood there 7 mins, no help. Drop box was Froze , she didnt care, or about me and my 9 year old daughter . This company also owns Fox rentals! Me and my company will no longer be using driving force. This my first of many disgusted posts with Custumer services of this company on Christmas EVe. Now looking at past history: Driving force has made fortune on gauging / over charging on leases and people.

I was hesitant, given that it is a leasing company primarily - or so it seems. But, my experience was nothing but positive and for a great rate. Shuttle to and from the Edmonton International. But the highlight was Josh. I have rented cars probably more than 100 times. Josh was so polite and easy to talk with. And when he took me out to the car he took a moment to show me where the lever was to open the gas, where I could adjust the mirrors, etc. Never ever, has anyone done this for me, and it was such a nice touch. Cant tell you how many times I have been in a car and struggled with how to adjust the seat, or similar. Well done Driving Force! My experience was great from the time I called to book, to the time I returned. Thank you

Josh went above and beyond to help solve the problems that occurred with my late flight arrival. Very kind and gave practical and thoughtful advice. Taylor was very patient and was extremely helpful. I was having trouble with my new credit card password and needed to go to the bank to reset it before I could complete my rental. Taylor drove me there and was entirely pleasant. The return was a little tense as we were trying to catch a flight and there was only one person on front office staff. He was very patient even with my crying children and I lost my card. I was the nightmare customer but they were so kind and patient! I would absolutely rent from here again! Even though its not actually at the airport

Never rent from here. They immediately take 1.5 your estimated rental cost on your credit card. A nice way to start your trip. Because I was leaving early AM there is no shuttle. You have use the the shuttle from a hotel at least 4 blocks away. I did not feel safe leaving my luggage unattended at the hotel but could not hike it the 4 blocks from the drop off point. I am very happy it was not winter. Finally, I filled up in the south of Edmonton and the needle was just below the bar. They charged an additional $22. An extra day cost me $80. A nice reward for 1 weeks worth of business.

First we called them to get picked up at airport, the guy told us hes sending someone, but 40 minutes later still nobody picked us up. They said sorry they were "crazy buzy" but then in the office there was no customer ! They were not busy at all. Second, its crazy but they cannot rent without international driving licence. Even with a French driving licence I used in different places in Canada and US even in other Fox Rental. They are just out of date. Dont go there its a waste of time. They have to update their rental policy to a modern one.

It looks like a bunch of idiots run this place! We were late by 6 minutes and the guy did not let us rent the car despite having a reservation. Talked to 2 of their office staff and both were rude and arrogant. This was the first time I had made a reservation at Driving Force and probably the last time ever! I literally accepted the fact that it was our mistake that we were late but does not give him a right to be rude and arrogant at us! Filthy rat!

Picked up Wednesday, Returned Sunday. Shuttle service was good. Shuttle van is in good condition. Counter staff at the agency are extremely professional. I have rented cars for business use many times, and Ive never met better agents. I had booked an "economy" car, and I got handed a Subaru WRX. Note: The province of alberta has speed cameras everywhere. Use cruise control and set it to the posted limit.

I wasnt particularly impressed with this company. I had a change in my flight itinerary, and when I arrived, they had rented my car out to someone else, even though I had called and left a message about my troubles. They gave me a different, more expensive car.

Great service and nice vehicle. I rented under Fox rentals which was significantly less than the major rental companies, but Id definitely rent from here again anytime Im in Edmonton.
