Good experience up front, but TERRIBLE follow up service. I purchased a F150 from Kevin Konelsky and initially I was happy with the experience. I was low balled on my trade-in by a wholesaler that looked at it so Kevin offered to keep my used car on the lot and sell it for me. "I do it all the time" he said. A month went by with absolutely no follow up on how the sale of my used car was going. I sent a text to Kevin to tell him the sunroof leaks on my brand new truck and I didnt get a response back. I tried on three different occasions to contact Kevin and he either didnt return my calls or said hes tied up and didnt call me back. I was very patient and polite but frustrated. The finance guy forgot to get a blank cheque from me before I left although we discussed in length that they would be direct debiting my account. Ford Credit called me and said I was late on my first payment. I pay all my bills on time so I started to get a bad taste in my mouth about DK Ford. I finally reach Kevin a few weeks back and we had an extremely brief conversation but he said "we are all wrapped up" on the car and he will call me back. He again, doesnt call me back so I call him the very next day. He says "Yeah, Ive got two guys that want it, how much did you want again?" I tell him the number we previously discussed 4 times and then radio silence. Two months with no contact and I have had enough of the games. I picked up my car to sell myself and will have my sunroof fixed at another dealership. Steer clear of these guys and dont trust Kevin. He is going to say whatever he needs to in order to sell you a vehicle. Dont leave your trade-in with this dealership, it will rust on the lot. Dont expect any follow up service from your salesman if the $60,000 vehicle you bought is defective. And finally, dont expect that the financing guy is doing his job and could wreck your credit score. Im regretful of buying a vehicle at DK. Shop around if you value service.

Very shady place. Bought a 2011 f150 from there and at 40 000km the truck was blowing o2 sensors and catalytic converters. They told me the truck was unfixable. They set mw up with Kevin Konelsky and sold me a new 2015 lariat. A couple weeks later I got a survey in the mail for service on the 2011 that was supposedly unfixable from some dealership in northern ontario. Then during the downturn I lost my job and went in to so about unloading my truck. Kevin talked me into a buying a lesser truck and sending mine to the U.S. and in six mounths we could flip it to the US. Now I am stuck with a truck I dont like nor can afford. Kevin continues to give me the runaround and does not return phone calls. When i do get through he gives some bs excuse and he will call back in 5 minutes. He never does call back and avoids my calls again. Also i have numerous problems with there service department. Most repairs take 3 tries to get right. I also bought a 2014 escape which was one of their courtesy vehicles. The car obviously had been in an accident. When they repaired it they did not align the rear auto door. After many attempts to fix it they sent it back to us so out of allignment that it wrecked the rear bumper. Every time there is a problem it is a fight to get it corrected. I have given them so many chances. I am done with them. Never have i had such poor and crooked service.

DK Ford is not a bad dealership to deal with Darren is very good salesman. I will go see him again when I need a vehicle and I would recommend him to you as well. He got me everything I asked for and a ton of info and he worked out all the weight limits for towing I needed and made sure I got the right truck for the job. After my deal was done papers we signed money was in there hands I was picking up our truck I noticed the windshield was not as good as I thought it was before it was cleaned up for sale and I mentioned it to Darren. He went in got his sales manager who came and looked at it shook my hand and told me anytime in the next six months drop it off and Ill put a new one in at no cost to me. I just said thank you! Brandon in the finance office took good care of us as well had everything done when he said he would and I had not one issue with him which I guess is how it should be but no push for anything at all and was very friendly. They made every member of my family feel like we we welcome and even went as far as to get my two kids gifts and hats. Best of all I left feeling I got a fare deal at a good rate and they felt they made a good deal. Rare and best auto transactions I have ever made.

Had my 2008 Escape towed in due to running rough and was undrivable, also had a major oil leak. They took the vehicle in right away and promised to get it looked at by a mechanic the next day. I stopped by the dealership as I was driving by it the next morning and spoke with the service advisor, she was just going to call me but as I dropped in she took the time to speak with me and inform me what the mechanic has diagnosed and what was need to be done, the estimated cost and when the repairs would be completed (in this case the next day). I received a call from the service advisor the next day that the work had been completed and that my vehicle was ready for pick up. When I got to the dealership to pick up my vehicle it was there waiting and the bill was exactly what I was told in the estimate. The only thing I has a little concern about was getting aride to pick my vehicle after it was repaired. I live in a community which is about 20 km from Leduc and I was told that it depends how busy the courtesy vehicle was and that they usually dont go that far. Overall the service was very good and they do what they quote you needs to be done, in fact I took my other vehicle there to be checked out.

I have an exhaust leak that was worked on last spring by Lamb Ford in Camrose. It began leaking again this week and Lamb Ford didnt have a diesel tech on duty, so I took it to DK Ford. Staff were great, got me a loaner etc. at short notice as I had to go on a long drive with my leaky exhaust diesel, live out of town about 30 minutes and needed to get it fixed asap. Diesel tech Found a loose hose clamp and tightened it. It was Covered under warranty, except when I got in my cold vehicle to drive it home from the dealership, the cab was still full of exhaust. I needed to go on my trip, so I took it from the lot, hoping that it was just a temporary thing... Nope, drove in -30 temps with the windows down for a total of about 40 hours driving. It will be going back next week to get fixed.
